Thanks for the Flex Friday tag @m0tiv8me and @marine-corps-strong! (Featuring my new Illumishade shirt who opened for Korpiklaani last night!) I’m late as usual but I’ve skipped it before so better late than never. 😅 Hoping my lil bicep isn’t getting littler lately with all the stuff that’s come in the last couple months, but even if so, it’s not the end of the world and I can build back up. 💪🏼

Appointment on Thursday was ok - I went to find out if it was a bone thing or a cartilage thing or a muscle thing... And she told me it could be either a bone thing or a cartilage thing or a muscle thing... lol. But the healing time isn't much different between them anyway (all are about 3-4 weeks, and it's already been 2) and there's not much you can do for any of them but rest. But she still sent me for an x-ray which I got yesterday so I'll have more solid info next week! She also gave me an Rx for 800mg ibuprofen (gawd dayumn).

I never did go to the gym like I was considering, but I do still want to go (with caution). I was going to go today but dilly-dallied too much and forgot that they closed earlier today, so I might just do some stuff at home instead. I do just enjoy the gym vibes...

Went to a concert last night and was wanting to join the circle pit so badly but I couldn't. 😭 Had to overall be protective of my side too; it was fine though thankfully! And the show was still awesome and we had a fun night.

I'm oddly excited to go to the doctor for my rib(s) today? I'm just eager to find out what's the actual diagnosis and to start healing better (if there's anything i can even do besides resting - I know you can't do much with rib injuries). I bet I'll be referred for an x-ray which I'll have to schedule but at the very least the doctor today can give me a general idea of what it could be and what it isn't.

I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."
