anything on Sebastian Baez?

hi! because you're sending this to the taylor fritz blog I assume you mean in context of the match against taylor tomorrow but if I'm totally wrong and you just want to hear my thoughts about the guy let me know! if I am right then here are my thoughts about the match:

so obviously taylor is 4-0 against baez but all of those wins have come on hard courts (although two of those were at indian wells and that's not a hard court according to the expert daniil medvedev lol). obviously baez's best surface is clay so this should make things interesting. that being said, taylor is still the favorite in terms of rankings and I think if he plays like he's been playing in the last two weeks then baez is really gonna have to up his level. the key for taylor to win and win cleanly is a high first serve percentage, which he had all last week in munich and in his match on friday. there's only so much baez can do against that. also, baez has a shockingly bad record at clay 1000s, so there's that. unless he comes out there playing like he does in the golden swing, taylor just has to not get in his own head (which is unfortunately a big ask) and play the way he's been playing
