“Let it All Go” Helsa Frozen 1 AU

She ran away, feeling like ice is running down her skin, freezing her from heart to toes. She kept her secret away, being stressed that somebody will cover out the horrible truth about the queen she never wanted to be, who has powers that will endager all the kingdom. 

“Conceal, don’t feel”, they said. Elsa was listening to it at all cost, even hiding what she really felt, to protect the one she loved, and her sister the most, but at the moment, when they all called her monster, there was no escape from the stress she felt. She was alone, with feeling blue all her life, hiding her pain and fear that was pulsing inside her heart, that everyone was forced to call it frozen.

She viewed herself as dangerous, as someone who shouldn’t live in society she was raised, maybe really as a monster, who will only cause pain. Elsa hated pushing off the one she loved, but she knew, that it was only for their safety, and as a new queen and ruler, and good sister and so-called daughter of her late parents, she should stay silent, like porcelain, antique doll with nothing to say.

Then, in peak of her anger and overaching fear, someone with hand warmer than hers, grabbed her hand with a sense of feeling scared, as well as she felt. Elsa saw Hans, the prince from the other kingdom, who, as she saw now, wasn’t that bad as she thought, when he was looking at her with concern and pain in his eyes, that was just as real as her own pain and feelings.

“Queen Elsa, don’t let your fear overache you…. It will be all ok, I promise” - he said, and she looked upon his watercolor green eyes, that shined even in the darkest night of current summer, and contrasted perfectly with her own, dark blue, feared eyes.

“How power you have to stop the monster? to stop me?” - Elsa answered, feeling like her breath was so fast and heart was beating faster and faster. She should not let her feelings get out of her mind and heart, but with Hans, she felt more safe than ever before. This man had a influence on her, the connection she never felt before. The only human, that she was brave enough to let get that close to her.

“You’re not a monster” - Hans answered, and Elsa looked upon his eyes again, feeling like this words peace her in a split second.

“Are you sure? They called me that, and…. Maybe are they true” - Elsa bursted in tears, letting herself feel and let out the pain she felt all these years, looking at Hans, who was staring at her with love, care and attention, that no one gave her like that since she was born. He was someone else, a soulmate, that kept avalanche in her heart peaced. The human, that seemed to change her fear and pain to love and self-acceptance.

He was different from all the people she knew, even Anna wasn’t exact the person that she felt that special connection. A literal soulmate, she thought.

“You are not the monster they fear you are… you are more than everyone thinks. You’re special as you are, in all your glory, Elsa” - Hans answered, smiling to her, and then, they hugged themselves, when the snow around them began to fade.

You can say what you say about Sleeping Beauty, but after some time, I can say it's the OG revolutional Disney Princess movie (with activist Prince, gorgeous Villain and sidekicks, with mid, but still gorgeous main character) 😭❤️

Why is nobody talking about Sleepy Hollow TV series nowadays, it's great and one of the most creative fantasy/kind of horror series of this century... T_T

And Ichabod is definetely my biggest live-action crush now, he is so babygirl yet gentleman, him and Abbie deserved more chemistry in the series, and it deserves to be as popular as Once Upon a Time, that it shares so much similiarities with ^^

You Keep Me Warm

He lies awake, sleep not getting to him. He turns to his wife, who is fast asleep. Her hand on his chest, the diamonds of her wedding ring glimmering in the moonlight thats peaking out from the rain clouds.

He smiles at her sadly. He didn't know why she chose him. Why she would want to be with someone so broken, so lost.

He removes her hand from his chest, slowly and gets off the bed, his feet meeting the cold floor of their bedroom.

He wraps his nightgown around him as he heads towards the door. He takes one more look at his wife and leaves the room.

The night is silent. The only sound he can hear is the rain pouring down slightly. He heads towards the living room and sits on the couch. He closes his eyes for a brief minute until he hears his wife's soft voice calling for him.

He opens his eyes and sees her standing at the entrance, wrapped in her own nightgown to protect her from the cool air.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" She asks sweetly. He smiles at her and beckons her over to the couch.

She obeys and makes her way to sit next to him. "I can't sleep." He says truthfully. She raises a skeptical eyebrow at him, trying to figure out why he couldn't sleep. She knows that he is a deep sleeper, but today something is definitely bothering him.

"Talk to me, I'm your wife after all, you can tell me anything, I won't judge you." He smiles at her and brushes a strand of hair from her face. Her blue orbs staring at him intently, the same eyes that made him fall in love with her.

"Why me?" She furrows her brows at his question. "I'm sorry, I'm confused." She says. He looks at her, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. "Why did you choose me to be with?" She was taken aback by his question this time.

"Hans, what are you taking about?" She asks, still not raising her voice. He sighs heavily. "You could have had any guy, but you chose me? Why?" He looks at her, sadness taking over his facial features.

"Because you are not like any other guy. I wanted one that was imperfect, one that never hid his true self," She says as she takes his hands in hers. "I just fell for you, Hans Westergaard and I'll do it a million times over if I had that choice."

He shakes his head. "I don't deserve you, I don't deserve your love, Elsa." She takes her hands and cups his cheeks, making him look at her.

"When you went down on one knee eight months ago, I said yes. Why did I say yes? Because you, Hans Westergaard are my happiness, my light, you helped me and I love you for it."

He blinks rapidly, not believing what he was hearing. "I am broken, Snowflake. Why would you want me?" She was getting slightly frustrated at her husband. He still thinks he isn't good enough for her, enough for her love.

"When we first met I was broken too, remember? My parents just passed away that time. You were the one who managed to cheer me up and give me some high hopes."

He remembers that day clearly. How she didn't trust anyone at the time. How she was so isolated when they saw each other at the ice rink when he was finishing hockey practice and she was coming in to do her figure skating practice.

"Yeah, I do." Elsa places herself onto Hans's lap and snuggles against his chest. "You keep me warm." His heart warmed at her words.

He remembers how he told her that when they were three months into dating, when they went to his house on a cold day and they snuggled up on his couch, watching Harry Potter movies.

"I love you so much, Snowflake." He mutters into her vanilla scented hair. She kisses his chest and looks at him. "I love you too." She says. He leans down and kisses her softly.

"Thank you for making me feel worthy, for making me feel...loved." Elsa looks at him and shakes her head. "I should be the one thanking you. You made me feel loved."

Hans at that moment couldn't have been happier, more content in his life for having this woman who was snuggled against his chest as his life partner, his wife.

He wouldn't change her for the world. He was damn lucky she was his and his only. He loved her that much.

Helsa Valentine's Day - WEEK 1 (Northern Lights of Love/Affection)

She looked above the sky hidden behind Arendelle castle’s library window, heavily thinking about what happened in the last few months, how she pursued herself do to such a change, and how she deals of being queen in the place she didn’t belong - the place that was prison to her for a long time, where she was locked in her own room, by her own parents, locked from the world that she was cut off from too early. Elsa wanted more, the place where she could be home, where everything would be easier, the place where she could care take of herself, but her convenience told her that she would better act like a perfect queen, not thinking about what she really wanted, what she needed. And Hans… the man that tried to steal her kingdom, and who, in the time of few last months, became closer to her than ever, when she gave him a chance to redeem himself working in the Arendelle castle and around it and the city. She was convincing herself for month after he left first, that she hated him, but in fact, she couldn’t help memories of how he was looking at her in the prison, the subconcious connection that she felt. Hans was good at working at the castle of her family for over six months, he did not caused problems, but still, Anna and Kristoff doubt his sincerity, that Elsa felt, and wanted him to stay back from the royal family, people of Arendelle and all the kingdom.

But Elsa felt more. Felt that she and him are closer than they should be, in the opinion of the Arendelle people, that he also doesn’t wanted to be in the place he didn’t belong, as well as her.

She was looking at the northern lights in the sky, seen only in the winter, thinking about what she could do, and then she heard gentle knocking at library’s door.

Your Majesty, can I enter your safe space of peace? - asked Hans calmly. The library definetely wasn’t Elsa’s safe space of peace, but he mustn’t know about that. It was her problem, that she didn’t wanted anyone to enter. She sighed, trying to be polite.

If you want… - she said half silently, and the doors opened. Hans was dressed in the night clothes, just as her, and in his eyes there was a visible sight of worry.

What happened? I feel you’re not in the best mood… - he said, still standing in the door.

It’s not your business… - she said, covering herself tighter in her mother’s pink scarf, she always needed when she was sad or upset.

Okay… but I really feel you need someone’s help… you look… sadder, different… - Hans said sadly, looking at her back, not seeing Elsa’s face, slightly covered in tears.

H… Hans, you shouldn’t be here… - Elsa felt like she needed to scream all her fear and upset out, but she was trying to be as calm as she could. She didn’t wanted to show anyone her deepest emotions, even Hans, that the council and her family was viewing as stranger. 

Please… let me help you, I know you’re in trouble… - he came closer to her, slightly leaning, yet not touching her. They were still too distant to show any emotions and affection towards each other, especially thinking what all the kingdom would say.

There’s no need, really… - said Elsa, feeling even worse, even sadder, feeling that she was actually burning.

Please, I….

I SAID NO! - shouted Elsa, bursting out from her hands a strike of ice, that covered the library’s door. In the moment, there was a uncomfortable silence between them - Hans, I…. I didn’t wanted to, I know you…

I understand you, Your Majesty - he said, smiling to her sincerely, and she looked deeply in his emerald, watercolor eyes.

How would you know?... - she said, wiping her tears of her cheek.

I would say… I was dealing with what I really feel for years… - said Hans, and his eyes started to show genuine fear - Your Majesty, please, tell me everything… I will not say anyone, even the closest staff…

Oh… - said Elsa, not sure she can purely trust him. He is a stranger, monster, not allowed to be here, as Anna and Kristoff said. She loved them, but in her eyes, even if she wanted herself to think like that, she felt very different about that.

Please, let me help you…. - he looked deeply in her eyes, and she felt a glimpse of trust, that big, that she kind of wanted to say to him everything that laid on her heart for months.

I simply don’t know where I belong… I feel not in Arendelle, I… - her eyes started to cover in tears again - I just want… to leave this kingdom behind, not hurting anyone again… even Anna… I really don’t know what to do… 

Elsa… - Hans said by her name, what he never did before, looking in her eyes with cheering smile on his face - I will do anything to help you feel better… and maybe in future, help you find the place where you actually belong… actually, maybe, in this life or another, where we belong…

And I’ll help you gain the trust of the Arendelle people as much as I can… I’m sure if they will know you better, they will see you more than…

Stranger? - said Hans, and Elsa felt he was looking right through her. But actually, that wasn’t the right thing she wanted to say.

An ordinary… - she replied, and for the first time in her life, she let Hans to hold her hand and feel feeling that she never felt before. That was not her home, but with him, the prison was feeling like real home, at least for a moment. If in the present on another life they were destined to be more than strangers, and  both find place they both belong, she would be all for it.

I just need a official+ canon novel that explains what happened to Hans during Frozen 2 and beyond (a year after, as we see in post Frozen 2 books), and simply how Helsa meets again, implying that they are going enemies to eventually friends to lovers 😭❤️

And maybe it could answers many questions, like did Elsa and Hans knew each other before (bethoral headcanon by few Helsa fans 😭😍), explore Hans's feelings for Elsa during the first movie, and maybe follow up to Frozen 3 and Frozen 4 😭❤️

+ add some World of Frozen and Disney parks current canon, if it's possible 🤣😭❤️

The Frozen universe is large when it comes to novels.

But I was wondering, if he were to have a novel with Hans and obviously Elsa, what style of saga would that be for you that Disney has published in recent years?Like the collections: Twisted tales, Queen council, Princes.....

Knowing that there has already been a twisted tales.

Or a whole new series? Cannon? Fanon?

Obviously, in the official canon this would be great but the one that Disney gave us is small and even more canon (a Frozen Heart).

What could this story tell?
