Fun fact: if you go to the Google reviews for Princeton Hospital, you’ll find so many people talking about Dr House. I love the internet

Everyone in Midsomer is absolutely insane. No-one in the entire county has a sense of appropriate time and place. It'll be some innocent baby's christening or some nonsense and next thing you know one guest is screaming at another about a fraud they think they committed, someone loudly announces that the baby is an affair baby, two people are having sex in a store cupboard, someone else announces they want a divorce, and to top off the evening someone takes this moment to do a murder.

Us British people will wonder why there seems to be a large number of serial killers in the UK while we binge watch Midsomer Murders for the sporadic and quirky murders.

This entire scene lives in my head rent free.
No wonder this episode was named “mayhem” when you have Mike Logan losing his temper like this.

I used to be solely dedicated to crime shows and now I’m in the middle of serial Crime/murder documentaries lover and girly girl showing off her pastel pink and white aesthetic material belongings.

I could not imagine being a solicitor in Midsomer.
Just imagine trying to defend someone crushing the victim to death with cheese or catapulting someone with bottles of wine

The Dan Scott era of Midsomer Murders is just Barnaby clicking his fingers and making Scott do all the physical labour while he just watches

I still think one of the most iconic scenes of midsomer murders has to be when Dan Scott is five minutes in his role as Detective Sergeant and he’s staring at a brutally murdered woman in a flamenco dress and stockings with a rose in her mouth and Tom Barnaby is acting like this is all normal Midsomer behaviour

tom barnaby talking to the person who definitely did it: oh goodness gracious me! I'm not asking you to establish an alibi, of course you could never do a thing like this! I like you!

Troy vs Oysters

Troy’s amount of disgust and judgement here is off the scale… also the lowkey trauma of having to watch his boss actually eat one of those things.

To my Midsomer guys,
It has been a huge chunk of time since the last update, I apologise.
I will note that the loss of my old laptop was the main issue, but I also wasn't completely sure how fast paced I wanted to get into the action and I ultimately decided against that for the sake of being able to properly give my spin on the characters some development.
So without further ado, the link to the newest chapter

I love the scene in faithful undo death where Troy mentions Cully and asks about her boyfriend and Barnaby just goes, “Nicholas the actor.“ and then says, “we like him.”
