Editing is hell

That’s it. I don’t know who else here has that same dreadful feeling of holy shit when they stare at that not empty word document (Or ilys page in my case) and just wants to quit because the scribbly red lines are too much. 

I think that’s why the concept of only share your first draft with yourself is true. Because I never ever want to edit that first draft of mine. Like, the most publicity that first draft is getting is that one screenshot i shared with the lines ‘the sun burns hotter than the sun’ . I want to share my writing but my god never have i ever wanted to cry and scream over a spelling mistake before. 

So, my advice to you, fuck editing unless you actually have something editable. And if you’re lucky enough to have a beta, spare them that please.

I’m Gii and I’m the writer of this blog!

I write for fun and maybe for coping shh. So this blog exists for me to share my drafts, scrap ideas, cringe old writing, one shots, tedious amount of fanfiction. Tips I’ve learnt among other things. 

I do have an AO3, but we’ll see who can find it. (It isn’t that hard)  and a Wattpad (which is much harder and no I won’t disclose that place)
