you know what the ad structure was less intrusive and less creepy on network TV than it is now on streaming services. like BBC One never targeted me in particular with those ads
can i say i hate youtube's website because if you click on a video you've started watching it will open around where you left off but it uses two methods to do this.
the URL will show what timestamp you are on but also youtube just knows where you are in the video so if you remove that part of the URL it still has the video carry on from where you left off. this means that if you don't remove that part of the URL and watch another portion of the video, then shutdown your computer and turn it back on with your browser set to open the same websites, your video will be set back to where it was before because of the timestamped URL.
got distracted by school and having to do like 3 tests in quick succession (if you're 18 right now, do NOT apply for computer science) but i am FINALLY on season 5 of my shield rewatch!! i remember the budget going to utter garbage so i'm excited to watch scenes of people running through a corridor with epic music and occasional glimpses of a Thing chasing the characters.
I wouldn't be mad if the new update was good but it literally causes the game to crash when I open the keyboard on steam deck so I'm a little mad that it caused fallout london to be delayed
hugely not a fan of OEM office PCs for trying as hard as they can to stop you from upgrading like hp come on let me turn your 15 year old shitbox into a sleeper gaming rig without having to get adapters for a new power supply
Implementing strict out-of-bounds checking in my 3D platformer, but instead of actually forbidding the player from going out of bounds I just use it to create a demon that chases you around the OOB space, and if it catches you it engages you in a lengthy unskippable dialogue about the tabletop RPG it's writing, thereby killing your speedrun.
