Chapter Six Sneak Peek: Child of Perdition
The taste of whiskey mingled with the sweetness of the cherry from the cigarette balanced between Sam’s lips, the smoke caressing his throat. The youngest Winchester sat on the hood of Uncle Bobby’s Chevelle and his kaleidoscope gaze stared up at the gray sky as rain began to drip from the clouds, a chill reaching into his already frozen chest.
After their Junior Prom, Sam drove Jess to the Junk Yard where they each drank about half a bottle of whiskey. Sam was not drunk, perhaps slightly buzzed, but it had been enough to cloud his judgment and his eyes to take on a glazed over tint. The world around him blurred at the edges and his senses were overtaken by the warm crisp rain that pattered against his face.
Sam welcomed it.
He turned his gaze from the sky to Jessica, who was swaying in the rain, dressed in a beautiful powder blue dress—the hem of it now brown with mud—that fit her curves perfectly and her soft blonde hair was pulled up into an intricate updo with tight curls unraveling at her neck. She clutched the whiskey as if it were her dancing partner, holding it tight to her chest as she danced in the mud with her feet bare.
The driver’s side door was open, and music poured through it from the radio. Total Eclipse of the Heart played from inside and Jessica opened her eyes to smile at Sam, holding her hands out to him. She stumbled over to the Chevelle, where she collided into Sam and his hands lashed out to grab her shoulders, trying to keep her balanced. Jess giggled and clung onto the youngest Winchester, long abandoning the bottle of whiskey in the mud.
“Dance with me, Sam,” Jessica said with a drunken giggle, her cheeks painted pink from the alcohol.
It had quite possibly been the cheesiest song Sam could imagine would be playing right then, but he decided to give into Jessica’s request. He dropped the cigarette from his lips to the mud beside the whiskey bottle and he reached out, taking her cold hands in his. Sam slid off the hood of the Chevelle and he pulled her close, wrapping one arm around her slender waist and the other held her chilled fingers in his hand. She rested her cheek against Sam’s chest and wound one arm around his neck as they swayed in the rain.
A little while had passed as they stood there dancing and the warm rain eventually turned cold and Jessica shivered violently against him, but she had made no protest to Sam at all. After a few more moments, Jessica lifted her head to look up at Sam, tilting her chin back to meet his glazed stare. She had given him a shy smile.
“Maybe it’s the alcohol talking, but I love you, Sam Winchester,” Jessica professed quietly, her cheeks deepening to a darker shade of pink.
“I love you too, Jess,” Sam had answered without a moment’s hesitation.
Had he meant it? No. He didn’t believe so—or perhaps there was a small part of him that cared about Jessica enough for him to say it back, but he knew even then, that he should’ve chosen more careful words. Although Jessica had become his second Dean, he could never love her the way he loved his brother—and he knew this with every painful beat of his heart as he held Jess so close that he could feel each inhale and exhale leaving her body.

Hey guys,
So it’s been a long time since I have posted or even worked on any of the current writing projects I have in a super long time. Most of the reason is that I had to focus on my own mental health for a while and the other part is some writer’s block as well as family matters getting in the way. But I am back and I am currently working on the next chapter of Wayward Sons. I am hoping to have it up in the next couple of days.

Hey guys. I know it’s been a while since I’ve been on here but when I heard about Tumblrs new policy on NSFW content, I decided I should hop and here and let everyone know that I will make sure things are backed up on my AO3 account: HalfwayToHell.

Okay but like imagine though..
Demon Dean cutting into his own palm and beating off with blood still soaking his hand - all while Sammy watches - and then he stops, just before the important part, looks his Sam in the eyes and says “Come and get it, baby brother…” and Sam practically pounces on him to suck all the demon blood off Dean because something about Dean’s demon blood gives him the best high and Dean cums so hard down Sammy’s throat and oh my fuck 💋
