4. what’s an inside joke you have with your family or friends?

Sooo manyyy. okay just 3. With my sister we have "c'est un mur porteur" from the time she witnessed a guy knock on a drywall partition and declare it a load-bearing wall. To be used whenever someone is confidently wrong about something, you yourself just confidenly said something dumb, or you want to snicker. Then with my mom and sister there is "J'AI PAS LE CODE MAMIE", a reference to Le Petit Chaperon de ta couleur in which the Big Bad Pig tries to get Grandma to open the door. The way it goes in my family is that someone innocently asks for a code or password, prompting another one to yell "j'ai pas le code, mamie !" and the third one to yell back "mamiiie ! j'ai pas le code !", no matter where they are in the house. And with the wife we have *primly:* "c'est la même chose". We were being silly and she said "est-ce que tu m'aimes puissance 100 000" so I answered "même plus, genre 100 fois mille fois" and then my brain caught up with my tongue and I very cleverly pointed out that it was the same thing. Kind of a load-bearing wall moment, if you will.

5. what made you start your blog?

I don't remember! I had been lurking on tumblr since 2012, and something must have changed but I have no clue what.

8. any recurring dreams?

the stress dream of my bed crawling with small animals. it always wakes me up - sometimes because I'm scared for them and sometimes because I'm scared of them - and it's one of the many reasons @the-lady-knight and I prefer to have seperate room whenever possible. that being said she's so used to it now that if I wake her up with "holy shit there's grasshoppers in the bed" she just mumbles "no there's not, you always say that" and falls back asleep. (but one day we will have a blue-ringed octopi infestation, and then she'll be sorry)

13. what are you doing right now?

taking a break from trying to register as a voter for the next elections (because I don't have a proof of residence lol, my name's not on the lease) by zoning on tumblr!

28. do you collect anything?

I used to! I loved to. I had a hat collection (you saw one of them), and a flute collection But I move a lot and also at some point it losts its charm. That said, while I don't know if it can be called a collection, I do always keep an eye out for earrings, brought them with me, and even kept most of those I don't wear anymore, which is unusual for me.
