Kane has a very special relationship with plants. Ever since Ludmoore engraved seals into his body, he started hearing odd sounds. Later he realized these are coming from plants. This is how they spread and exchange information. Plants lack intelligence and identity so instead of normal speech they channel everything in its original form, but as a whisper.

Sounds can be louder or not and although Kane is able to suppress it, he can't mute a sound completely. Plants in his personal garden know his smell and energy so they gladly tell him everything and warn about unwanted guests. As if Kane had a security system around his house. Other plants are less cooperative and only connect to him like they do to other plants. Some plants remain silent, like whisperers in Phobos's garden and Silver Dragon plants (Yan Lin isn't happy to see just any Phobos around and it seems her plants feel the same).

Sometimes Kane meditate by laying in a grass and plants start wrapping him, probably taking him for another plant. He claims these "hugs" are much warmer and more gentle than Veira's.

How Fish is Made was probably one of the most odd, satisfying and obscure game experiences. I finished it twice in a row for both endings and right after realized I stare into a wall with a blank face, thinking about life, death, religion, society and a point of my whole life. That was something.

Yes, Orube has ears in my comic because I've seen it here and I fell in love with this idea. I developed it a bit further and she's covered with thin fur like some sphynx cats, but it gets thicker and longer on her back and limbs.

Imagine a new farmer moving to your neighborhood. He lives in the outskirts, rarely seen by anyone yet provide 99% of region overall output. He's somewhat antisocial, speaks with the forest and odd, otherworldly sounds are coming from his farm at night.

Suddenly you notice locals acting in a strange way and new hybrids of animals and plants appear in a valley. What could it all mean?

I like him! But in an odd way. I like the role he plays in Sephiroth's downfall. I like how his jealousy and teen riot has led him to complete loneliness (yeah, there's Weiss ok, but no one who Genesis truly cares for). I like how he sacrificed everything to the idea of becoming THE HERO but never becomes one. He missed all the chances to save the world. And in the end the world had completely forgotten him.

All the above makes him so... Human? It's like you're that smart and die-hard guy who takes a fate in his own hands but makes things even worse. But I don't blame him: after all, he wanted a Goddess gift for a reason.

And again, I like that absolute drama queen that he is and billions of gay jokes we made about him hahaha
