- He would be just so sweet toward you!  

- Hase, bunny, you remind him of this small, cute, but spirited animal. Additionally, as a younger child he tended to a wounded hare and learned many valuable skills from doing so. He sees the similarities between the two of you where he tries to be calm and ease your anxiousness just as he had learned years ago.

It’s a bit long sorry and a it late. Still, I hope you feel better!

Pharah

- You had been feeling under the weather the whole week but ignored all the signs in favor of work. A stuffy nose, a slight fever, a cold that ran down your body – none of it mattered really. You were fine, and you needed to be productive.

- Pharah had been watching you as you slowly progressed from bad to worse. Her worry was silent but incessant and made her unable to stop thinking about you. 

- Of course she wanted to help you form the get-go, but you shrugged off her demands to get more sleep with, “I’m fine, really.” She wasn’t convinced.

- “You are being childish.”

- “I’m being an adult, and an adult has work to do.”

- When your cold hit a fever peak, and you collapsed in training Pharah has no choice but to take you to Dr. Ziegler’s office. Of course you didn’t remember the medicine or the cold rag or the way Pharah stayed by your side by the night.

- No, it was only in a dream where she held your hand and drew circles on your palm. Or how she she laid her head next to your legs and slept the night in that awkward position. It would be silly to think that the person you admired so much would care for you so deeply, right?

- Morning came, and to your surprise she was were there. Real and alive and most definitely not some hazy memory you wish were true. 

- She stirred awake and rubbed her eyes of sleep before turning to you. Her gaze brightened only to turn sharp when she remembered what happened.

- Without saying a word she handed you a cup of water. It felt more like a silent demand than an offering and so you drank it without question. That seemed to satisfy her as she let out a huff and a small wary smile.

-  “You worried me last night.”

- ”I know I’m sorry I just… .”

- Silence filled the room and within the moments that passed Pharah shyly took your hand in both of hers and said,  “I am thankful you are now better.” 

- Dr. Ziegler eventually let you out of medbay under strict instructions to not strain yourself and to drink water at regular intervals. Pharah volunteered to check up on your every few hours, but all that really meant was that for every hour she was gone from you another two was spent in your room.

- She made sure you drank your water and were well fed. Pharah covered you in blankets and brought you your favorite movies or TV shows to help you fall asleep. For some (read:all) she stayed and watched with you, but others she was content to simply stay by your side.

- That night she fell asleep by your side once more; her hand intwined with yours.

Zarya

- Summer in the states always had a way of being deceptively cool. Perhaps not in temperature, but the way in which the world colluded against you could’t be anything less than stone cold harshness.

- Your job was shit (paid barely enough to keep you off the streets), your friends worked and no longer had time for you, and you hadn’t known sleep for the past month and a half. It was at times like those that you truly wondered what it was you were doing.  Living simply to live? Sustaining the economy by being a consumer? Working until you felt nothing more than a corporate robot?

- What was it all for.

- The door opened to your dimly lit apartment with a loud squeak and the footfalls of a woman you knew all too well. You eyes lit up from your spot on the couch where you were draped over in exhaustion, your shoes haphazardly thrown on the floor. 

- “Solnishko, I’m home!” her voice was loud and clear and was almost enough to get you to roll over onto the floor. “Solnishko?”

- The lights turned on and you could hear an audible gasp as you winced from the sudden brightness. The door shut behind her with a gentle push and in a moment she was next to you kneeling.

- She had been gone on a mission for half a month and only then was able to come back home to you, her wonderful girlfriend. Every moment she could spare was spent on thoughts of you.

- Your smile, your courage, your personality. She never thought her heart could contain as much love as it does for you. 

- “Are you sick? Should I get medicine for you?” Her hands seemed more like a giant blur than any tangible object, and yet you managed to cease her flittering with a simple response.

- “I’m fine Aleksandra…  I’m just… tired?” She didn’t seem convinced and made it a point to let you know by placing her hand on your forehead. “I just want to sleep. It’s uh, it’s been a long week… . “

- You placed your hand on top of hers and smiled.

- Zarya’s heart melted in that moment, and with a rush of affection she scooped you up into her arms with ease. You could feel how warm she felt, how safe she seemed to be and in return nuzzled into the crook of her neck.

- She laid you onto your bed carefully placing a blanket over you. Her motion was stopped however by your hand on her wrist to which she simply kissed you on the forehead and told you to sit tight.

- What you didn’t see from your vantage inside your room was that she left only to clean your foyer and living area before turning off the lights. She placed your shoes by the door along with her own and made her way back into the kitchen where she procured a glass of water.

- Slowly Zarya made her way into your room; but before she crawled into bed with you she made sure you at least had a few sips of water. 

- “You need to take care of yourself more, I worry.”

- Finally she made her way under the covers where you waited for her despite your tiredness. Her arms wrapped around your torso and pulled you close to her where you could smell the clean scent of overwatch mixed with her own unique aroma. 

- You sighed in contentment and wiggled to get closer to her body heat. Her laughed could be felt by the rumble in her chest and she only squeezed you tighter in response. 

- “Shh, go to sleep Solnishko, tomorrow will be a better day. I promise.”
