( Fayetteville, North Carolina): A homeless man rescued a litter of puppies after their mother was hit by a car. The good samaritan remembered that he used to feed her... he left this note with the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society shelter. He apologized for "leaving them like this, but I am homeless and can not afford to care for them." He writes that he hopes they are given a chance he was never given.
The five puppies, Chance, Fate, Serendipity, Kismet, and Fortune, will be available for adoption in Cumberland County, North Carolina— applications open on February 1. The shelter has already received offers to help this kindhearted man should he come forward. (VIA)
