Neighbor!au Rye enlisting Jason’s help when it’s time to go to the vet. Surprisingly, Artemis isn’t the biggest menace here. She is in fact surprisingly friendly. Hades and Apollo, however- Hades was a master at hiding, and Apollo just maims whoever comes near him without mercy.

Cue Rye showing up at Jason’s door looking DONE going “please help me not kill or be killed by my cats. It’s just a checkup.”

Jason has Apollo swaddled like a baby as the doctors does the check up.

Neighbor!au Jason can hear Rye and Artemis ‘fighting’ (increasingly loud meowing at each other) through the wall.

Suddenly, a crash, and he can hear Rye groan “fine, you win! Asshole.”

He’s just eating a bowl of oats as he listening in on the fight. “Oh hell nah.” He knocks on the wall. “I’ll come in there you little demon! Stop being mean.”

An evening where Rye corners Jay into doing skincare with her!! (‘Corners’ used loosely here, we all know Jason wouldn’t do it if he didn’t actually want to.) She gets him into a kitty ear headband with a face mask, and starts doing a facial massage. She’s careful of his scars (she’s got a cream around here somewhere that can help), but manages to slowly unravel at least 10 years worth of tension from his jaw and eyebrows.
