😆 Happy April Fools Day! 😆

Well hello out there! Lately been cloudy and rainy down here in the Sonoran Desert, but I'm sure the blazing heat is around the corner. Gotta say, the Farmer's Almanac was on point this season, it really was unseasonably cooler and much damper than previous years.

Few days ago spent some time up at Joshua Tree National Park. Was a nice change of pace, and was able to get some really cool pics and video. But I did go during one of the busiest times of the year, and it was packed! Even with all the crowds, I enjoyed my time so much that I'm really considering heading back out sometime this summer when the place empties out so I can do some real exploring. 👀

Oh, and if you want something to watch that takes place in the park, check out "Grand Theft Parsons", which has Johnny Knoxville. It's a bit of a dark comedy but based on a true story.

🌧 Rain, Rain Go Away! 🌧

Happy Sunday! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Down here in the lovely southwest, been raining since 2am last night, and supposed to be just drizzly and cold through Tuesday. I know, can't complain too much since the rest of the country is going through some serious cold snaps. 🥶

Been busy doing some odds and ends, so haven't been watching much TV or youtube, but I'm gonna get caught up on the Dakar Rally (this year it was held Jan 5-19). I'm a HUGE Dakar fan, especially the dirt bike class. If you are not aware of that race, it's almost 5,000 miles of the harshest terrain you can tackle, and you gotta get it done in two weeks! 😲

❤️ Happy Friday! ❤️

Well here we are, first Friday and heading into the first weekend of the year, yay! Christmas was fun, hosted a campout in the desert, and even grilled a duck! 🦆

It's been years since I cooked one, and back when I did, used an oven, so was unsure exactly how to cook one on the grill. Turns out, all you need to do is treat it like a turkey, it's really a no brainer.

The duck turned out so good, I'm gonna start grilling up more duck and experimenting more with spices and techniques. Next time I'll take a picture and post it 😉

Watched a really good series on Netflix called "Captains of the World". It's a nice recap of the 2022 World Cup, and worth checking out! ⚽

So far the weather has been cold, slightly windy but sunny. Had some light rains, but nothing too bad. But I gotta admit, looking forward to the warmer temps in the spring.

💛💚 Good Evening! 💚💛

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and that all went well and smooth 😉 Spent the day hanging out at the river and watching boat races. 🚢

The mornings are a bit on the brisk side, but daytime temps are perfect, so been making the best of this fantastic weather getting more pics and video. Been a busy bee, and of course, getting prepped for the holidays. 🎄🎅

I'll admit, it's been quite a year, and so much has happened. I was gonna make an announcement a month or so ago, but been focused on a couple specific projects. So while it’s a bit on the back burner, I'm really looking forward to making an official announcement real soon (here's a hint - 🐇)

Another week down, yay! Like my post from yesterday, been doing more practice and really getting into the groove. As they say, practice makes perfect! 🎶

So this is supposedly the last hot weekend then it's gonna be a bit cooler starting Monday. Been saying that for a few weeks, but this time it looks like the real deal, looking forward to it! 🍂

The other day finished watching the series F Is for Family by Bill Burr. I was rolling 🤣 If your old school you'll love it, so many things to relate too.

💃🎃 Bellydance Practice and Halloween Ideas 🎃💃

Hello everybody! Still kinda debating what I’m gonna dress up for Halloween, but at the moment I’m leaning towards a desert gypsy or fortune teller with a tip jar, lol! Or, should I think outside the box? Any thoughts? 🎭

Today was a hot one, 100F, and it’s gonna be that way through the weekend. Kinda late in the season for this, but it looks like by Monday temps will be in the high 80s and lows in the 60s.

So, this just occurred to me…Oktoberfest has since passed, but is there an equivalent festival for wine lovers? If there is, let me know, would love to hear about it. 🍷🍇

Today I had a solid day of bellydance practice, and it felt really good! My goal for next year is to enter a competition, so I need all the practice I can get. Really focused on the basics, because they are the fundamentals to the art of the dance.

Anyway I can say with certainty fall is here, and it is so nice! Mornings and nights are crisp, and daytime temps are actually comfortable, yay! 😁

So, last week went and saw Chevelle, and glad to see that they are still rocking hard after all these years. Been following them forever, so if you haven't heard of them, check them out, or send me a message and I'll tell you my favorites! 🤘

Saw another boat race (actually a drag race) and from what was explained to me, is more like a time keeping strategy. Still cool to see how fast those boats can go even if they go over or under their set time.

Well, another week down, yay! Fall is in the air, and that makes everything a bit better. Nights are getting nice and crisp, making it a welcome change.

Been noticing more shooting stars too, they are just amazing to watch. Back in the day used to listen to Art Bell on Coast to Coast AM in the middle of the night while counting the stars (anybody else do this?). 👽🛸

Productive week, but got around to watching both seasons of Formula 1: Drive to Survive. Prior to that, knew very little about F1, but learned a lot. Gotta say, it’s worth watching (go Mercedes! 🏎)

Well hello out there! Temps have finally come down, and I'm loving it! Fall is around the corner, and it's a welcome change. 🍂

So, past couple days binge watched "Welcome to Wrexham". Watched all of Season 1 and the first episode of Season 2. If you love soccer (aka football ⚽), you'll love this series. It has it all, great humor, drama, all the ups and downs of buying and managing a team, but the best part of all, it's a true underdog story that we can all relate too. 🤗

💙🤍 Happy Labor Day Weekend! 💙🤍

Hey, it's Friday, and Labor Day Weekend! Well, what and end to a summer, loved it but dang, it was crazy hot, and for the first time I can say I did see 115 to 120+ temps for a while (seemed like it would never end). For a while I just kept phone off, would over heat anyway. 🔥

Monsoon season ran a little late, (had a sprinkle here and there) but today had some heavy rains and looks like the same for tomorrow. Overall, I have to say, for the first time in my life, I'm looking forward to fall 🍂
