as romantic as it would've been i think kara betraying lena isn't the whole reason lena went on her villain arc. i mean there was the betrayal of kara and all their friends but there was also her family...

she just killed her brother and the last thing he does is hurt her, making her utterly alone when she needs all the support she can find. and no matter how... complicated lena's relationship is w lillian she still cared about her and once again she had betrayed her, keeping the secret. just how heartbreaking is that?

she kills her own motherfucker of a brother for her friends only to realize they never cared or trusted her, she'd been living a lie since the very beginning

Looking for a fic

I was looking for some fanfic about supercorp but forgot the name. First fic, is after Lena finds out Kara is supergirl, she sells the company and Kara quits her job and decides not to be Kara anymore, but Lena stops her from leaving everything behind. Second fic is an au, where they’re both veterans, but Kara can’t remember her life from before. She’s married to Mike but falls for Lena, and later realize they were married before she lost her memory and Lena thought she was dead. Lena then tells her how they told her Kara didn’t make it and she decided to move to a small town and help out the people there. Can someone help me with that 😅😅

but isn't soo weird that Kara decided to treat Lena as a villain after seeing Lena be a good, righteous (just hurt) person in almost every timeline??? like don't get me wrong im glad Kara started standing up for herself but couldn't be me fr, not when Lena was all like “if the real Kara thought i was a villain, maybe it's all i really am”

i get the whole “it doesn't matter when i tell her” but girl it doesn't mean you have to give up on this timeline

i hope sometimes in s6 kara and lena talked abt their breakup and kara apologize for the way she unwillingly humiliated lena and how she didn't trust her fully

i just can't get over how s6 made no sense like im so mad

starting w/ nyxly bc wth??? kara is such an empathic person, she has a huge heart but in the end they just sent her back to the phantom zone w/ lex???? i mean,, nyxly definitely was a good person, she was just so hurt and she deserved a second chance,,, kara and nyxly feeling the other emotions definitely hinted that yeah redemption arc but no they just threw it all away

and don't even get me started on lena. yk i started watching this show bc i love Katie Mcgrath, and one thing about her is that she really understand her characters and in an interview she said smth like: not everyone is a superhero and that's where lena stands, doing what she thinks is right being surrounded by superheros,,, w/ wtv knowledge she has she's just doing the best she can. and w/ s6 being about ppl empowering themselves bc they don't need superheros to protect them,, the character that illustrated this the best was just given powers (⁠눈⁠‸⁠눈⁠) like be so fr pls she didn't need that,, and ik someone said that its to give lena a queer narrative and give supercorp queer subtext but it still doesn't make any sense for her character????

yk what let's talk about supercorp while we're at it. kara and lena did not spend 3 seasons devouring each other w/ their eyes and then break up arc (s5) for wtv is happening on s6. i am genuinely mad over this bc s5 gave us perfect context for a romance,, like kara spent 3y lying to her best friend and then they have this huge fight abt it and right when they make up kara ends up alone in a terrifying place. it's so freaking easy for romance to bloom here ????? like i honestly think that supercorp should've been the core of s6 bc even as friends kara and lena are each other's most important person and they both went through pretty traumatic events and i think they should've been supporting each other on a much deeper level idk im just so mad

ok so i finished supergirl and watched every single supercorp edit, interview and analysis i could find and i gotta say ill miss this show, i mean in the end Lena and Kara genuinely love each other more than anything and the plot might not have been the best ever (especially s6) but its been entertaining + im now becoming a Melissa Benoist fan and the fandom's so cool so yeah it's been great
