Skinny Tan - Review
Skinny Tan – Review
So I was kindly sent some tanning goodies from the skinny tan to review, the pre-tan primer, 7 day tanner, the dual tanning mitt and exfoliating mitt.
Tumblr media
Now I am kind of a tanning virgin as I am very pale and always get the fear when tanning as I don’t like to look orange but I was pleasantly surprised by the skinny tan.
So first thing I noticed about these products was the smell. It didn’t have…

This month’s Degustabox was a Summer Theme and did not let me down me down at all!!!
For those of you that don’t know what Degustabox is? It is a monthly subscription food box that gives you between 20.and 15 surprise items in each box. You can get 2 types of boxes ( alcoholic and non alcoholic). I get the items from both boxes as I am one of the bloggers and get sent these for review purposes. I have a blogger code that shows the company who signs up with my code I don’t make any money from this. My code is 7F4HW and this will give you a discount and give you the box for £5.99 insead of £12.99.
Tumblr media
My favourite item in the box this month has got to be the full size bottle of wine from Blossom Hill. This was a lovely refreshing sparkling raspberry and blackcurrant wine an absolute bargain as this was full size.
Tumblr media
My next favourite item was this delicious juice by Cracker Drinks Co Mango and passion  fruit. I enjoyed this in the morning nice and chilled straight from the fridge and my little boy loved it too. It had a lovely sweet taste and was very refreshing.
Tumblr media
My next favourite was the Dijon Mustard by Maille I added this mustard to my cheese sauce for some home-made cauliflower cheese and it tasted amazing!
Butter, flour, salt.n pepper, 2 teaspoons of Maille Dijon mustard milk and cheese. So simple yet so tasty 👌
These drinks from Thor were quite delicious and very unusual as well.  Apple Spritz with ginger and mint. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice these were.
Tumblr media
Next few items in the box from the collective range I have been unable to find as yet but will keep hunting as I love their yoghurt.  There were some coupons enclosed for their new kids range and protein yoghurt.
Olives I am not a huge fan of so I didn’t eat these as I don’t like them. So that Was a thumbs down for me. These were 2 packs of Oloves chilli and oregano.
Tumblr media
Next was the new avocado fry light which I had not tried yet so was pleased that this was Included in the box as I am always on a diet lol
Tumblr media
Next item was a pack of randoms which my wee boy stole immediately so I didn’t get a chance to sample these but he loved them!
Tumblr media
Few other items in the box was some Weetabix COCONUT and raisin which is lovely for a wee change to normal Weetabix.
Tumblr media
Last item in the box was some Ryvita thins which I have yet to try three cheese flatbread but they look amazing!
Tumblr media
So overall July’s box was a good one as they always are! I was very pleased with the contents of this box and would definitely recommend this to anyone as it’s great for all the family.

So that time of month has come where my Degustabox gets delivered for me to sample and review and Mays box which was a “Picnic Theme” and did not let  me down in any way shape or form.
Tumblr media
So for all of you that don’t know what a degustabox is? It is a food subscription box that gets delivered to you once a month with a surprise mixture of food and drink between 10 and 15 items.  These food and drink items are usually new products that are just launching so you get to try them just as they are hitting the supermarkets. The cost of the box each month is £12.99 but if you use my ambassador code you can get your first box for only £5.99 if you use code 7F4HW then click here
This months box was a pure treat! full of naughty things to eat, such as chocolate, sweets, popcorn and snacky things.
Tumblr media
First treat which got me super excited was the big chocolate bar from Cadburys Peanut Caramel Crisp. I had one square of this as I am dieting and the boyfriend ate the rest but it was so delicious, best one I’ve tried yet from Cadbury.  I had to give it to the boyfriend to stop myself inhaling the entire bar.
Tumblr media
Next was the sweets from Millions.  The chocolate covered strawberry millions were actually pretty nice but unusual for millions sweets as they don’t usually have chocolate and the sour ones were amazing.
The Hippeas Snacks and Portlebay popcorn were my favourites as I love both of these brands but had never tried the Sriracha popcorn before which was lovely with a nice hint of chilli and the hippeas in herbs we trust are a firm favourite of mine anyway.
Tumblr media
The Zeo can of Peach and Grapefruit was a lovely refreshing drink and only 36 calories.  I would definitely buy this as it was really nice.
Tumblr media
When I seen the Rawbean Coffee Bags you have no idea how excited I was as I am a huge coffee lover and coffee in a bag was just amazing. The coffee was a nice strong coffee and tasted exactly like filter Coffee.
Tumblr media
The Homepride flour I have not used yet but I will definitely give it a try to make my own bread that sounds quite exciting and I always love the smell of homemade bread.
Tumblr media
The Skinni Wraps were only 90 calories each and they were lovely they made a great snack with some quorn chicken.
Tumblr media
The Candy Kittens Gourmet sweets were delicious in sweet pineapple flavour me and my wee boy devoured these.
Tumblr media
The crabbies alcoholic Ginger went straight to my boyfriend as I don’t drink alcohol much and he loved it. I have tried it before and do enjoy a nice cold ginger beer.
Tumblr media
The cereal Lovers Crunch time Nuggets snacking granola was nice but I felt it had a funny aftertaste but I still enjoyed them as an on the go snack whilst I was accompanying my friend to an early morning hospital visit.
Tumblr media
The last thing was the MOMA Bircher Muesli Rasperry and coconut which I had for breakfast with some Alpro chocolate milk, rasperries and coconut collaborative choc pot which was pure beaut.
So overall Mays box was a winner I loved everything in the box and am excited to see what Junes box will bring.  So if anyone fancies signing up use my code above 7F4HW which gets you a whopping discount.  (please note you can cancel at any time).

I was kindly sent these products for review purposes from anatomicalsuk.
So I had actually never heard of the brand but I am so glad I have discovered them as I have been so pleased with the products I was sent. They asked me to pick some products and this is what I chose.
I decided to have a little pamper session as soon as they arrived I used all the products.
So first off I started with the APRICOT Face Scrub “get outta my face dirtball” firstly I love the packaging! It is fun, vibrant and the puns are fabulous!  So what about the actual products inside? What are they like?
Pure beaut 😃
I started with the face scrub which smelt so nice and is a nice consistency.  Initially when I applied it to my face I thought is was a little rough well rougher than some of the scrubs I usually use as the beads seemed bigger. However, I was pleasantly surprised as this left my face feeling super soft and clean. I was really happy with the results and would definitely purchase this myself. Also it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin which some face products do which was a huge plus.
2nd product I used was the Hair Mask. I never really use hair Masks as I don’t find they really do much for my thick tuggy hair and believe me my hair is always tuggy and is the bain of my life!  First thing I noticed when applying this mask was the smell! Coconuts and Honey together is an amazing combo and there is enough for 2 applications in the pack.
I also love the pun lol “giving good head” bit naughty but I love it!.  Anyway it says to leave on your hair for 5 minutes which is what I did and boy was I pleased with the results. My hair was left smelling amazing and feeling super soft and tug free.  This was my favourite product and I will definitely buy this! Honestly even the next 2 days after my hair is still super soft and very little tugs.
3rd product to test was the body cleanser. Now anyone that knows me is aware I am a huge coffee lover and when I seen they did a coffee wash I thought why the hell not!
So the Java Lather ” Full of Beans” was a really good cleanser it lathered up well and had a nice subtle coffee smell but not too overpowering. I enjoyed using this and will continue to use it every day so I can smell the coffee fragrance on my skin all day lol
So the last products was probably my least favourite of the bunch. It sounded really good and I was interested to try this as I am always hot in work and thought this would be perfect to cool me down.  The facial spritz “we’ll cool you again later”
I think the spray should have been more of a mist rather than a spray, as I felt the spray came out a little too much. But the overall product felt nice on my face and was very cooling. It also had a nice subtle scent, but I just felt the spray came out a little too much for me personally but nothing against the actual product. I will still use it though.
The extra products I was sent were a cute pack of mints and the little badge which was a nice touch.
So overall, would I buy these products myself if I seen them in the shops? Yes I would definitely buy the face Scrub and the Hair Mask as those 2 x were my favourite products. They are also an affordable range and are available to buy from Superdrug or ASOS

So here is my monthly review of March’s degustabox. This month was an Easter Theme and full of lots of naughty treats which were so yummy!
So for anyone that doesn’t know what degustabox is, it is a monthly food subscription box that costs £12.99 per month. I get sent these every month for review purposes, but even if I didn’t I would sign up, as there is nothing more exciting than getting a surprise food box each month, especially if you are a huge foodie like myself. The box consists of between 10 and 15 food and drink items and you can either choose an alcoholic option where you can get alcoholic drinks or you can choose the non alcoholic option.  I get all items in both boxes for the review purposes so I may at times get an item or 2 more in my box than what you would get. The products in the box are usually new items that have just been launched in the shops so it gives you a chance to sample some brand new products just as they are hitting the shops  For foodies this is the perfect box, the items are not always diet related and some are healthier than others but there is nothing wrong with a bit of indulgence now and then.
Some of the boxes are themed depending on the time of the year. This month was an easter theme but I did feel there should have been an easter egg included given it was the easter box but sadly there wasn’t.
My Favourite items hands down was the Cadbury’s Oreo bars of Dairy Milk. The Mint one was my favourite and the peanut butter one was also delicious
My second favourite was the chocolate eclairs one pounders which were so good. I don’t even like chocolate eclairs but these ones were amazing!
The jelly bean from the jelly bean factory were also a huge favourite of mine. I did not share these with anyone ha ha
The Jelly Juice by Naturelly,I forgot to take a picture of as My wee boy snapped that up as soon as he seen it. He loved it!
The 2 x ciders I gave to my partner as I am not a big drinker and not a fan of cider. I liked the lemon energy drink though that was very refreshing.
The crisps by Pipers were lovely and in my favourite flavour salt and vinegar they were full of flavour and had a nice crunch as handmade crisps should have.
Another favourite in this months box was the chocolate dairy free mylk drink from rebels kitchen which was delish 👌
Next items were the breakfast shakes from Weetabix which were great for an on the go breakfast item.
Next was the Seriously good sauce by Heinz in a creamy tomato and garlic sauce. I have not had a chance to try this yet as I don’t really use jars of sauce and prefer to make my own from scratch but I will definitely give it a try soon.
And last item was the whitworths cacao bar which was quite delicious and great for a mid morning snack.
So overall, March’s degustabox was a big hit in my house and I enjoyed most of the products, although I think an easter egg would have made it so much better and more exciting.
If you are interested in signing up for one of these fabulous boxes click here and if you use my exclusive code it will save you £7.00 when you sign up use 7F4HW. ( please note you can cancel at any time)
