I am apologize for the late reply. Thank you for liking my blog! From what I have understood, I believe Sayori was Takuma's original fiance.

You can see from these two pages that Takuma's original fiance is married to someone else. And he is looking at Sayori when he says all of these. Plus, Sayori was the mayor's daughter. So, it would make sense that Ichiou arranged a political marriage for Takuma. Perhaps, to gain more power in the human world?

I hope that answers the question!

⋆ Rido lusting after his own niece, Yuki, because she reminds him of Juuri, his sister.

⋆ Kaname, the Kuran ancestor, in love with Yuki, his descendant and foster sister, and vice versa.

⋆ Zero in love with and married to Yuki, his adopted sister, and vice versa.

⋆ Ai, Kaname and Yuki's biological daughter, in love with Zero, her step-father.

⋆ Ai in love with her half-sister Ren, who is Zero and Yuki's biological daughter, and vice versa.

⋆ Akatsuki and Ruka, who are second cousins, in love with and married to each other (compared to the rest, it's not that bad).

[I know that they are beasts and all and not humans, but this amount of incest is insane, lol].
