Bakugo was in detention for fighting again though he had some mysterious bruising covering his arm and he refused to give an explanation other than he fell out of a tree. It looked to be badly injured almost like a sprain or a break but he refused to get it looked out as well and gave everyone a hard time.

Mic sighed from his desk, only Bakugo in detention this time around.

“Look, I’m not gonna beat around the bush with you. I know those bruises aren’t from falling out of a tree. If you don’t want to talk about who gave them to you, at least let me take a look. I know you’d be pissed if you lost your ability to use your quirk with that arm or the arm itself.”

While he was generally a mouthy man, Present Mic did in fact know how to read the room and could, when he so chose, keep his mouth shut. Did he fear Bakugo? No, he was a pro with years of experience. At the same time, he also didn't want to push the young man into making even worse decisions than he already had that day.

Mic might believe that, given time, Bakugo could become quite a good Hero, but he also knew that good intensions were just that, good intensions. One bad enough choice could lead the teen down a much darker path.

So, he just dug out his phone, playing a random game while keeping his awareness of the angry teen. At least he was working on things and not currently screaming.
