RIP Callie Sadecki

One thing I've been thinking a lot about is Callie from YJ. Everyone always talks about how Callie reminds Shauna of Jackie and that's why their relationship is so strained. But did she always remind Shauna? I mean they don't really look alike, I mean can you imagine young Callie and Shauna getting together so well because Shauna finally had the baby she wanted after she lost the first one in the wilderness? Spending all their time together? Only for Callie to get older and start acting more and more like Jackie and not understanding why her mom who spent every second with her is suddenly not talking to her? Avoiding her? I mean, Callie was just a kid who didn't understand and her mom, her best friend probably, was suddenly treating her like she never existed? Like she's a bother? Only to find out that she reminds her mom of her dead ex-bestfriend and that there is nothing she can do to change that? That her childhood best friend, her MOTHER, will never love her like she's supposed to? IDK just some food for thought.
