There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.

Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?

Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.

Sorry you unlocked the brainworms I think about postcanon farcille with Falin travelling SO OFTEN anyway in my opinion soooo much about Farcille's development in dunmeshi is actually leading up to this, leading up to Marcille being able to let go of Falin and feel secure that Falin will return to her when she can, and if one day she can't that's okay too. Marcille has already done the posessive "Oh my god I was so worried how dare you take the love of my life from me!" thing with Laios after Falin left magic school with him, and of course THEE central character arc Marcille goes through is learning to accept that one day she will lose the people she loves.

And in Falin's case, her arc is about learning to be greedy and learning to choose things for herself. We hear much more about Falin than we hear from her, sadly. But as much has we hear her described as angelic and kind we also see chilchuck derisively conclude she "can't say no" and we know that she was considering saying yes to Toshiro's proposal even though she didn't have feelings for him. Marcille is afraid of people leaving her behind because of the inevitable march of time, but Falin is afraid that if she doesn't go with others, physically or metaphorically by give in to what they want, that they'll move on without her and she'll be left on her own. Marcille needs to become okay with people leaving, and Falin needs to be okay with the idea that she can leave, do her own thing for a while, and that the people who matter will still be there when she comes back.

Which brings me back to: FALIN & IZUTSUMI POSTCANON ROADTRIP.
