GOODBYE LGC ~
ahhh the day has finally come. after 4 years, 4 months, and 8 days with jaesun, i've decided that my time at lgc (and tumblr rping in general) has come to an end. i honestly never expected to be rping for this long on this platform but i think i've finally come to terms with leaving. it's been a lot of fun, and lgc honestly made the crazy pandemic days much more bearable. however, i've barely had time to sign on ever since i started my new job last year, and when i do have a moment to myself, i can only bring myself to do one reply a week which isn't really sustainable for growing a muse. it's certainly not easy to say goodbye which is why i've been procrastinating.
with that said, thank you to all the members, old and new, for being a part of this group. thank you for writing and plotting with me and my muses. ❤️
to my admin team: y'all do so much work behind the scenes and i applaud each and every one of you for the dedication that you bring to this space. without them, this rp would have shut down a long time ago 🫂
as for my muses, i didn't really have any thought out "ending" for their stories so i'm just going to leave it that way. i may still keep them around for rping on discord so i don't want to make anything definitive. just know that they will certainly miss being around! alrighty i've rambled too much at this point, but you can still find me on twitter ( lgcsbabyg ) or discord ( melonjae ) if you want to keep in touch! thank you all again for being part of this crazy 10+ year journey with me!

jaesun continued to chuckle along. it was always nice to get to do activities with those outside of his group. not that he didn't love his group but he was such a social butterfly that he was always wanting to meet and hang out with everyone else as well. "it was really early," he playfully whined. "i don't think even a morning person would have enjoyed being awoken at that hour."
"oh!" his eyes widened as the other mentioned the dishes that he had seen. "that sounds really good though. there's nothing quite like having kimbap on a trip like this," he pointed out with a nod of his head. "that's not too bad," he looked as the line was seemingly moving very quickly.
“well the team didn’t but i did.” sanghyun laughed, knowing that it was purely luck that determined what team he would get but if he had to pick any other team other than lgc agency, v&a would have been his next choice. the sudden morning surprise made sanghyun realize later on that he was taking his modeling schedule for granted since it did give him an opportunity to sleep in at a later time if he had nothing to do for the day. “i thought it was strange that they chose such an early time to wake us up, but i guess with all of the filming we did in the past several hours it makes sense.” sanghyun never really thought in-depth how much time some of these variety shows took up and now it’s making him wonder if he’s equipped for these kinds of shows.
turning his head slightly towards where he had seen the lunch boxes and then back at jaesun. “i remembered seeing some kimbap and grilled shrimp? or grilled chicken? i’m not sure since there were a lot of fruits and vegetables.” looking back at the line in front of them, sanghyun added later on, “i think once these two people in front of us get their boxes, we should be able to get ours.”

jaesun chuckled as the other thanked him for welcoming him to their team. "did we have a choice?" he teased before giving the other a pat on the shoulder. "i know. you know, i always thought that we'd get used to these random hours but i'm not going to lie, it didn't make it any easier," he exclaimed. jaesun had always been someone who could adapt more easily to little sleep ( or so he thought ), but he was definitely feeling it right now.
"it's really not that bad at all," he nodded in agreement. he was used to that part for sure, and it wasn't like he was having to deal with a ton of additional people. in fact, he preferred to be in this role than anything else. "oh really? what did you see?" he asked curiously. "i'm actually quite hungry now that i think about it." he was definitely excited to get something to eat.
sanghyun did find it quite surprising how the company was able to schedule a gig like lgc retreat for all of the people participating due to their (very) hectic schedules. but when he was told that he had to go to another team, sanghyun found it amusing in a way how he ended up in v&a’s team. filming for the first few segments made him feel as if he was an honorary v&a member, but he could feel the fatigue slowly kicking in as he realized how many hours had passed by since they woke up.
luckily lunch time meant that sanghyun had a bit of time to recover and talk with people that he knew. as he glanced at other people’s lunches, his stomach grumbled before he looked ahead and noticed that jaesun was ahead of him. “oh hey! thank you for welcoming me to your team.” sanghyun greeted lightheartedly as he returned the hug. “i was getting a little bit tired, but i’m glad there’s food right now.” he eyed at the lunches. “how about you? i hope being the leader for this team hasn’t been too bad… although it looks more like the current v&a lineup plus one other model.” sanghyun teased while glancing to see where the rest of the teammates were. “some of the lunches i saw earlier look pretty delicious.” he added belatedly, thinking about how they were usually surrounded by food whenever they met.

oh, it felt so nice to be out of the studio, jaesun thinks to himself as they wait in line for lunch. he had heard that the lunches were made by those around him, which was honestly quite surprising. he wondered what sorts of instructions they were given to make the lunches. not that it mattered that much. just whether they were good or not.
he was in line when he noticed sanghyun behind him. they hadn't spoken much since their banana milk days just because of their different schedules, so he was excited to see the other. "hello!!!" he opened his arms wide for a hug. "how are you? it's been a while! have things been well with you?"

an LGC RETREAT solo
jaesun never liked to be surprise woken up at 3 am, but he also knew that likely meant something interesting was about to happen ( and if they were just waking him up at 3 am for fun, then someone was going to pay for it. just kidding. )
it's admittedly difficult to keep his eyes open on the bus ride to wherever it was he was going, but he also wasn't entirely sure if a camera might suddenly come to his face or something else might happen that he might regret sleeping through. rubbing his eyes, he did his best to try and stay awake.
before he knows it, the day has really kicked off and they're asked to do introductions. it was actually quite a considerate activity considering how large the group was and likely not everyone knew everyone else's name. even he who was usually pretty good at these sorts of things had a few faces where he wasn't one hundred percent certain about.
as it got to his turn, he bowed ever so slightly and gave a bright smile almost a "typical" face that he gave when he did introductions. "hello everyone! i'm v&a's ahn jaesun, also known as aj." he pauses for a moment as he begins to count in his head how long he's been at legacy. "sorry, it's been a long time since i've thought about this," he chuckles nervously.
"well, i joined legacy in january of 2015 so i am coming up to my eighth year here." he has to stop himself from shuddering at the thought of just how long that was - the equivalent of high school and college combined. "three random facts about myself?" he wonders if these things have to be things that people don't know but there are plenty of people here who likely don't know everything about him and it is being aired (?) presumably so he supposes he shouldn't overthink it too much.
"i love all shades of the color blue. my favorite food is ganjang gejang though i can't really make it myself so i don't get to eat it often but i just generally love food and cooking. and i recently discovered photography so i've been getting into that." he nods his head animatedly as he lets the next person take their turn.

jaesun watches the other curiously. it's clear that there are still a lot of thoughts churning through the other's mind, but jaesun isn't sure he wants to prod. after all, it could make him feel uncomfortable or discouraged and well, it wasn't like there was anything specific that he felt needed to be pointed out in the moment. encouragement is always a good thing as well, he thinks to himself.
when he gets everything set up, he waits for the other to give him a signal and when he indicates that he's good to go, jaesun hits record and starts the music. they've worked through this so much at this point that it's certainly starting to feel like second nature.
Since he's still a fairly new idol, Tee is hard on himself. Well, he'd always been hard on himself but it was getting worse. He didn't want to let the group down or cause any negative comments or reactions. That's why he always focused on making sure everything was perfect. ❛ Oh, ok. Then that's good to hear... ❜ He trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck. At least Jaesun couldn't see any obvious faults, so that must mean he's doing something right.
❛ Thanks hyung. I appreciate it, ❜ he smiled softly. Tee waited patiently for the older male to set up the phone camera. He ran through the choreography in his head once again. He then nodded as a signal that he was ready to start. ❛ Ready when you are. ❜

V&A MISSION 006
time seemed to blur these days, moving faster than jaesun would like. if only he could stop time for a little bit so he could relax and just be in the moment. but for now, it was time to start preparing for a comeback (which, he obviously wasn't going to complain about especially since so many artists didn't even get the same opportunities to do so as they were getting).
comebacks were fun challenges for jaesun. as someone who could get bored easily at times, it presented something new to focus on. plus, after taking a listen through the songs, he really liked what he was hearing. as the leader of the group, he wanted to make sure that he was prepared. that, if the group needed his help, he would have the ability to provide that support to the rest of them.
which was why he started learning the songs immediately from the time they were announced. he needed to get the details down to a tee. sure, the members were all capable, but in the event that they needed the extra hand, he wanted to be able to at least know what he was talking about. what good was a leader who was confused, after all?
on top of their regular comeback schedules, jaesun was also excited to learn that they would be taking part in lgc webtoon's ost. side projects were also always fun for jaesun and undoubtedly, he would be thrilled to see his alter ego become animated in the new webtoon. truth be told, he had somewhat forgotten about the whole project origin bit and so it was interesting to see it coming back to life once more. it felt like so much time had passed since then, but perhaps time felt that way as he got older, jaesun thought to himself.

jaesun wonders what had happened in the run-through that made tee say something like that but he just nods his head. "yes, of course it was okay. i mean, we can always make things even better right? but there wasn't something that made me go 'woah not like that'." he chuckles a bit as he says those words. it seemed like the group was making good progress overall.
"sure, let's do that. it doesn't hurt to give it another go," he exclaims. but that was always jaesun. if he had time for another try, he would always do so. "let me get the phone setup." grabbing his phone from the side of the room, he turns on the camera and sets it up in front of them before hitting record. "alright, let's go!"
Tee could never imagine what it must be like to lead a group. The amount of pressure and responsibility placed upon their shoulders is not always worth it. The thought of leading a group made Tee shudder. That's why he had a massive amount of respect for Jaesun. The elder was happy to help his members when they needed and he himself showed that he was learning to. Tee felt at ease having Jaesun as his leader. ❛ Is it ok, hyung? I just don't want to embarrass the group, ❜ he chuckled slightly awkwardly.
Tee nodded as he listened to Jaesun. ❛ We can run through it one more time. If you want to record then I think that's a good idea. We can see what we need to work on more. ❜ He smiled brightly.

3 RANDOM FACTS:
similar to how jaesun is in the lgc verse, in this alternate verse, he continues to be someone who is eager to explore and try new things. although his major is in creative writing, he still has a penchant for being creative in other ways as well which is why he loves photography and drawing!
on a similar note, when he was starting off college, he likely pulled up a list of majors, closed his eyes, and pointed at one. surprisingly, things went well and here he is, almost done with his program.
lgc was probably not one of those schools that was high on his list to attend, but given the options that he had, it was the best one and he hasn't looked back or regretted attending.

jaesun nods his head. he is usually someone who could do things alone, but if he had a choice, it wouldn't really be his preferred option. but she's right. there's certainly nothing wrong with it whatsoever. "yeah, there is a sense of freedom in doing things on your own," he exclaims. "these days though it feels like we're always in groups."
his eyebrows raised in curiosity as she mentions a male that she's come with. but then she mentions a group and the curiosity seems to wane. "oh well, i'm sure you'll be able to find them eventually," he notes with a laugh. "a job? isn't this already your job?" he asks curiously. certainly it feels like it with how much time they spend here at the company.
"nothing wrong with going alone to anything. i even go to movies alone sometimes, if nobody wants to watch with me. not worth missing the film just because nobody else is interested soooo, i'm all for that." nayoung grins at him, all teeth and lips. their conversation isn't all too stilted despite not having run into each other for quite some time. that's comforting.
"i am! but he's back there...somewhere. i think he went to get some fresh air or something." nayoung looks around and can't see any of the people that she came with. "we mostly came as a group, but i've lost track of where everyone is, ha. what have you been keeping busy with anyway? working yet? my mom's putting on the pressure for me to find a job the second i graduate, erh." nayoung pulls at a loose thread on her dress, nose crinkling at the fact that this was new but was already frayed in one area. not acceptable.

jaesun feels bad that he's left her flustered. it seems that he does that a lot to people though he doesn't really know why. perhaps it was just the situation that they were in but it seems that at least she's moved on from that quickly. "i uh ... came alone," he notes. things would have been different a few months ago, but now that he's focused on his career and truth be told, not fully moved on yet, it would feel odd to be coming to something like this with someone else.
"really? i wouldn't have been able to tell," he chuckles softly. "how about you though? are you here with someone or?" maybe he should have made more of an effort to try to come with someone, now that he thinks about it, but honestly, he can find comfort in a social situation alone easily so perhaps he didn't actually need to think on that so much.
she feels like she's aging by the day. initially, nayoung thought herself a social butterfly, but now finds herself keeping to herself and more wary of her actions. is it because everyone's here? she feels more alert, and doesn't want to draw attention to herself for some strange reason today but she deduces that its because she is alone and not hanging around her friends, and that's probably why she feels so stark and strange. as nayoung begins trying to find her phone through her bag, sifting through it after failing with looking over the crowd, shock horror, she should have not been walking and rummaging at the same time as she ran into someone. "ahhhhh, it's not you, it's me, i wasn't even looking up- i'm so sorry."
relief floods through her when it's not a complete stranger, but definitely someone she hasn't talked to in quite some time. has it been a year? did any of their classes even overlap this year? "u...e.h...... j....ae?" okay, she's a bit embarrassed that he remembered her name, but she seems to be failing here and might be getting the wrong name. "fancy running in to you here. did you come with someone or did you come alone?" her shoulder slump, nayoung feeling the exhaustion creep up. "i'm so bad at big social events."

chuseok
jaesun didn't realize how nice it was to actually be home for chuseok this year. having been away for chuseok in a prior year, he realized that things just weren't the same when they were done over a video call ( even if it was better than nothing and that he was grateful technology even afforded them that luxury ).
however, there was nothing that beat lazing around on the couch watching your youngest sister ( who somehow is no longer a baby ) show you the drawings that she's drawn and wanting you to read more books to her. those little things couldn't be replicated over the phone.
and of course, the food. it was clear that jaesun's parents were very happy to have their kids home and so each meal was a feast ( as if they were worried that the kids weren't getting fed properly at the company which, well, when compared to this, it really didn't feel like they were ).
it was moments like these that made him sometimes wonder if his career was worth it - giving up these family moments to be on the road or just overall too busy to return home more frequently. he didn't really know. he wanted to think that because these moments were more infrequent that it made things even more special because of it.
he knew, though, that he had put too much of his life into getting where he was now that he could never walk away from it. not unless there were some career-ending injury that happened though god forbid something like that were to happen.
for now, he would cherish these special moments where he could be here with his family. and just maybe he could try to learn to make time as well. it was all in the balance and he just hoped he'd be able to do it well in the years to come.

jaesun nods his head as the other explains how things are going for him in the process right now. "oh, should we go through the singing bit then?" honestly, he hadn't been paying much attention to how the other was doing since he himself was just trying to get things down as best as he could. thankfully, there wasn't one particular thing that he was struggling with, but the start could always pose some challenges.
"i think ... i have everything down?" he says with a slight uncertainty. "i think it'd be good to just do maybe one more run-through to see what parts need refining. maybe we can record ourselves and then monitor what may seem off?" it was always crazy how a recording could expose so many things that were going wrong, if he had to be honest.
Tee had always enjoyed family con and performing at them. This was going to be Tee's first year performing as a debuted idol instead of just as a trainee. This whole year had been full of new experiences and firsts for Tee and this was going to be another significant memory for him to add to the collection.
❛ I think I have it all down now. Dancing isn't as hard for me as singing is so that's where I'm focusing my attention on, ❜ he replied honestly. For Tee, singing had always been the hardest skill of all the idol skills and he had worked a lot on building up his vocal skills. They still weren't great, but they were much better than before. ❛ What about you, hyung? Do you have everything down? If you're not sure I'm happy to run through it again with you. ❜ Tee smiled.

an lgc university starter for @lgcnayoung
for jaesun, it was extremely odd to be attending prom, at least in this context. he had honestly never been interested in things like this, despite being quite a social person, but when he was in school, he preferred to keep his dancing to the practice room. however, seeing that this prom was for everyone, it at least made him feel a little less awkward about being here and part of it.
he was wandering around the space, admiring everything that was going on around him when he accidentally bumped into someone. "oh my gosh, i'm so sorry!" he exclaimed as he looked to the other. "are you alright?" he realized that he recognized her, though he didn't know if it was a bit creepy that he did. "nayoung, is it?"

a family con 2k23 starter for @lgctee
jaesun always looked forward to family con every year. how many years had he taken part in them at this point? he had lost track, but each one left a different type of memory for him. he couldn't wait for all of the special stages they were doing this year, and today, he was working with tee on the versus performance.
"how much do you have down?" he asked the other curiously. he had spent the last few hours getting the choreography down but he wasn't entirely sure if he had gotten all of it. "should we do a run-through of it?" he looked to see what the other thought about that idea. if anything, he was curious to see which parts he still needed to pay more attention to.
