Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 finale review!
~ No butterflies were harmed in the making of this review ~
Wow, what a season! Overall, yeah, I liked this season. Not the best, but not the worst. It was no season 5, but we got some really cool queens outta s10: Aquaria, Asia, Monet, Monique Heart, and of course VANJIE!
So about the reunion...
-Everyone’s runways were so gagworthy. Blair’s was my fave.
-Ru needs to stop asking the finalists about their dead relatives right before they lipsync for the crown. Aren’t their nerves shot enough?
-There had to have been SO much pressure for the queens to pull out some crazy stunts for this one. Kameron’s were underwhelming, Asia’s was disappointing, Eureka’s were too obvious, but Aquaria’s were just right. No one topped Sasha’s. She set that bar too high, and I think that’s what pressured Asia to come up with that bug idea. RIP.
-I could talk all day about butterflies, but I think we all feel the same way. I really wish the top 2 had been Asia and Aquaria.
-I’m so happy Aquaria came out on top. It wasn’t bullshit that she won because her work in the competition was the best overall and I think her lipsyncs in the tournament were the best, BUT the lipsync tournament concept is still stupid as fuck. What if Kameron had given the best lipsyncs in the tournament? Would they really have given him the crown despite everything else that happened in the season? Not cool. 2 lipsyncs cannot make up for an entire season of mediocrity.
-It bears repeating, Aquaria really did deserve this. It took me a while to really warm up to her, and even longer to call myself #TeamAquaria, but once she won Snatch Game, I knew she was something special. I’m really proud of our lil girl.
-New York has brought home 3 crowns in a row, damn.
Anydangway, thanks to everyone who read this. I hope it wasn’t too obvious that my steam was running low, but I had fun writing nonetheless. I might do more in the future. I love this show despite hating it. See yall later.

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 - The reunion episode!
Thoughts:
-The best look of the night for me was Aquaria’s brown cow realness. It’s fucking funny and she looked great.
-Kalorie’s only narrative is “the one that sent Vanjie home” -I’m pretty sure Vanjie is on S11. She better be. That or all stars. Everything that comes outta her mouth is pure gold.
-Half this cast was so forgettable including Mayhem, Dusty, Yuhua, Kalorie, Blair, and Kameron. Remember when I was so sure Mayhem was gonna go far? wah wah...
-I still can’t exactly pin down how I feel about the Vixen situation. I kinda just think she’s an asshole. Asia of course gets a lot of bonus points for standing up for her, but tbh I think Vixen’s just a stubborn child. Eureka never really did anything that terrible and the Vixen is losing her fucking mind over her.
-My picks to go into an All Stars season would be Monique, Monet, and Vanjie
-I think I and everyone else severely overrated Miz Cracker. She’s pretty funny but she’s not really THAT funny. She has these extremely bizarre moments of awkward scream-talking. I don’t know how to explain it. She’s weird in the kinda good, kinda not good way. She was pretty funny in the pickle costume, but that was kinda it. She’s certainly no Trixya.
-My pick to win is still Aquaria, but Eureka is a veeeery close second. It’s gotta be between one of them. I’m excited to see who takes it.
-This season was only ok. They got their one true shining gem of the season in the first episode. Everything else was mush. Long live the Vanjie.

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 12, American
This is the only show I can simultaneously love and hate at the same time. I sipped the tea, then flipped the table. This episode is a choice example of wishful thinking gone wrong. I need to start remembering that I can’t influence the course of history with just sheer willpower and prayers to Divine. I’m not so sure Divine even watches the show from her seat in Hell. She’s probably more into Dragula. Maybe I am too. Here we go.
Like fucking duh there would be a top 4 in the finale. Sasha’s roses were so fucking epic, you KNOW they’d try to get some magic like that on the show again. I shoulda expected as much. My rankings from last week hold true for me though. There might TECHNICALLY be a top 4, but spiritually, emotionally, and all other -ally’s, there is only a top 3.
These rankings are my predictions for who Ru and fans will pick to be the winner, from least likely to most likely (wait this is how I’ve always done it)
#4. Kameron Michaels I think a decent chunk of Drag Race fans relate to Kameron (I do not). I imagine she appeals a lot to the buff, masc4masc, reserved but catty as hell WHITE gays. This is my least favorite flavor of queer person, so I have a distaste for Kameron Michaels. She’s not BAD. She’s a good drag queen. but America’s next drag SUPAHSTAH needs to be a GREAT drag queen across the motherfucking board. Kameron can sing, dance, make oufits, paint4filth and lipsync the housedownboots. Good. She isn’t funny, can’t act, and doesn’t have much of a personality. See, talent is only 1/4 of CUNT. You need heart, and lots of it. You need a story, a perspective, a path you can hurl the art form of drag towards and Kameron Michaels does not have that. If she really dove into her nerdy side more, maybe. But now...she’s like....Katy Perry or something. Vanilla.
#3. Asia O’Hara Now, into the actual top 3. Asia might notta done the best in the competition, landing in the bottom a few times, but she has the biggest heart IMHO. She actually is great across the board. She’s funny, can perform, can act, and she (usually) has sick’ning outfits. Her runway this week was so goddamn good. (Sidenote: can we please let the marcel wave die). She’s still very pageanty, an attitude not a ton of fans relate to, but Ru loves her, and so do I.
#2. Eureka Now, I’ve been pretty certain most of the season that Eureka would win the whole thing, but within the last 2 episodes, it’s really become neck and neck between her and Aquaria. Eureka has done really well in the competition. She’s easily gotten the most screentime, and most of the queens seem to like her.......I think...? About that, a lotta people love Eureka, that’s undeniable, but for some reason, a lotta fans HATE her. I don’t hate her. I’m not really sure why anyone would HATE her. Yeah she’s a bit...noisy, but the only reason I wouldn’t wanna see her win is cuz it’d be way too predictable and feel forced. She seems genuinely compassionate, she’s smart, gots interesting looks, she’s pretty funny, can dance, etc. Eureka actually does have it all and we got force fed her fucking STORIES all season. She could easily take the crown. I think she deserves it, and I won’t be surprised one bit if she wins.
#1 Aquaria It’s a tough call, but as of this episode, I think Aquaria might eek out a win right from under Eureka’s nose. There’s obvious points, like how Aquaria hasn’t ever been in the bottom and has won the most challenges and is in the highest ranks of drag fashionistas, but merits like that didn’t do shit for Shea Coulee (still mad). But Aquaria has something else. She’s cool. Like ACTUALLY cool. Her story felt organic, moreso than Eureka’s for sure. She didn’t come in armed with the tragic backstories of living with HIV or a broken knee or dead parents. She came in with a face like Cracker’s and a babbling problem, but that’s why I like Aquaria. She’s fun, and real. And she flingin flanging holyshitbuttfuckin BLEEDS drag. THAT is what I look for in a drag winner. Someone who lives and breathes and bleeds drag. Aquaria is the art in the artform, but guess what, she’s also fucking funny, can perform and dance like crazy, can act, can do it all. Most WINNERS don’t even stand up to the amount of raw talent she’s got. It’s a little disturbing. She’s like the perfect drag super robot.  Ok. chill.  I think Aquaria deserves this the most. If she doesn’t win, I could assumed it’s cuz she’s slightly too much like Violet or Sasha as a fashiony/art winner. Eureka checks off way more boxes (big girl, etc). So we’ll see...wishful thinking might jinx me again, but whatevs.
All that said, all 4 bitches did SO great in the American dance challenge, so I wasn’t surprised Ru kept them all to go forward.
Anydangway, I’ve said my bit about who I want to win. Because there will no doubt be another stupid lipsync tournament to crown the winner instead of using actual credit, I will commence holding my breath until the winner is crowned starting in

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 11, Evil Twins
A faint sliver of light shines through a crack in the doorway. As you approach the old door, a bitter chill runs up and down your spine. You enter. Before you is a withered corpse in a dusty bedroom, barren and lonely. It is sitting upon some sort of black throne in front of what looks to be like a wicked sweet custom PC that’s also real dusty. You hear the sound of skeletal fingers cracking as the corpse reanimates to resume it’s gruesome work. The PC stirs...
Ok, yeah, I know I’m usually more punctual with these, but after 2 weeks of no dwag wace, I kinda forgot that I was doing this at all. I blame my shiny new boyfriend for distracting me. Anyway, back to the ol’ grind. This week wasn’t the worst but left me kinda confused.
5. Miz Cracker I’m naturally pretty sad to see Cracker go, but I think this was fair. Everything they critiqued her on was pretty accurate. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a contestant have so many mental blocks up in the competition, even Katya. Like, chill girl. For someone who was so strong and confident at the beginning, she really didn’t soar very high. Still, I’m sure she’ll be among the league of fan favorites who do really well on WOW’s Youtube channel. Most funny white blonde queens do. RIP.
4. Kameron Michaels This is not a great top 4. After all the good and bad I’ve said about Kameron Michaels, I still think there’s a lot of queens who deserved this spot more than her. She’s a great lipsyncer. She’s got great makeup skills and some solid looks, but she still lacks some winner qualities. She’s got Uniqueness and Talent, but I don’t see Charisma and Nerve in her. I think she got this far by being a great lipsyncer and so she TECHNICALLY earned it, but I still woulda rather seen Monique or Monet or Cracker up here, obviously. I think it’s pretty clear that Kameron isn’t going onto the top 3. No one wants to see another Roxxxy Andrews moment ever. Still, she gets kudos for surviving 3 fuckin eliminations.
1-3. Aquaria, Asia O’Hara, and Eureka In no particular order, these 3 queens will be the top 3 for Season 10. Aquaria represents a young, innovative eye for fashion. Asia is a pillar of the pageant circuit and stands for polish and class but with a lot of creativity. Eureka is here for the big girls, owning her body in a confident, beautiful way. All 3 have shown great looks, comedy chops, makeup proficiency and an all-around excellent performance ability. I think Eureka is in a slight lead against the other two, but it’s still really anyone’s game. I wouldn’t hate seeing any of them crowned. I find myself rooting more for Asia because I think she’s the most likable out of the 3, but Aquaria’s looks have been the best, and Eureka would be the first fat queen and has a strong voice for politics and other social issues I care about a lot. I also find myself NOT rooting for Eureka because she just seems like such a predictable winner. I won’t be surprised at all if she wins, and I like surprises. The show has revolved around her since episode 1, but if she wins, so be it. I think she’ll be a great winner, and definitely earned it. Remember what I said episode 1: Ru crowns smart queens. Eureka is probably the smartest of the 3. She’s probably got this.
Some other notes for this week: -Both of Kameron’s looks sucked. -Cracker’s did too. The look she was supposed to do for the evil twin runway (it’s on Insta) probably still woulda landed her in the bottom cuz it was kinda boring. -I didn’t really get how Aquaria won. They were GUSHING over her evil twin look, but I just didn’t get it...Animal print bodysuit dress with pinup hair and bones sticking out? What am I supposed to be getting from this? Flintstones? But then she was also a serial killer butcher? What the fuck? Am I just that ignorant on fashion? I liked Asia’s and Eureka’s better. Whatever.
Anydangway, unless some stupid BULLSHIT happens next week, we’ve got ourselves a sick’neen top 3 and finale ahead of us. Next week’s review might be kinda short. I guess I’ll do a review of the season as a whole the week after that, and then it’s the finally yay omigod! I will FINALLY BE FREED OF THIS CURSE!!
k bye

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 10, Social Media Kings Into Queens
Was everyone on gogo juice this week, or was it me? Ru especially was going bonkers in the work room. Everyone was so giggly and excited. Was it just because they had extra people hanging out with them today? Maybe. I must say, I’ve been a YouTube fanatic since the site started. It was really cool to see Tyler Oakley, Kingsley, and half of Smosh there. Also the other ones were there. They put on a great show! Let’s get to it!
I was quite a bit off with my power rankings last week (dude last week was a mess), but I think it’s a bit clearer now.
6. Monet X Change I think this elimination was fair. Monet and Tyler’s outfits were pretty basic, and the reveal was puny. I’m really sad to see Monet go. It took until Snatch Game for me to really appreciate her. Unfortunately, I think it took her too long to really take flight and soar. She had some stiff fuckin competition. Still, she’s a really cool, smart and funny drag queen. It was her time, and I’m excited to see what happens with her in the future. RIP.
5. Kameron Michaels Yeah, pretty much every episode since #1 I’ve been eating my words about Kameron Michaels. She’s talented as fuck. I didn’t expect her to be such an incredible lipsync performer. Lipsyncing is typically a drag queen’s primary talent, but on Drag Race, you DON’T want to do it, but it’s also a last opportunity to show their stuff. Kameron’s primary talent is lipsyncing, and she’s really goddamn good at it. Is it enough to go to the end? I don’t really think so. Yeah she did win one challenge (kinda by default), but she’s skated through the rest by just being consistently average at everything BUT lipsyncing. She might lipsync assassinate her way to the top, but if she lands in the bottom 2 next week, odds are she’s out. No queen has ever survived more than 3 lipsyncs in a row. At that point, Ru will just get rid of you no matter what you do.
4. Miz Cracker I’m happy to see Miz Cracker get a win, but it might be too little too late. She did NOT win a comedy challenge (her forte?). I’d say she would have to win next week as well to get any chance into the top 3, but I don’t really see it happening. Sorry Cracks. All that said, she really did do a knockout job this week. Last week, I thought she was going next. I had forgotten how great she is at design and makeup. She made Chester See* look fishy as hell. Kudos! I think Kam will go next, and Cracker will be knocked out at top 4. I’m cool with this.
3. Asia O’Hara At this point, I’m pretty confident in who the top 3 are. Asia should be the third. I think she has it over Cracker and Kameron. She’s won more. She’s been funnier and has had a lot of good runways. She’s pretty well-rounded, plus she’s SUPER likable. Out of the queens who are still remaining, I think Asia is my favorite. I don’t think she’s gonna win the whole thang over Eureka, but you never know. Asia’s got a solid chance. It’s a close race this time for sure
2. Aquaria When I first saw all the runway looks, I thought Aquaria’s pair with Kinglsey looked the worst. Well, Kingsley looked the worst. Aquaria looked rad, but they didn’t really match very well. After thinking about it more, I think Monet kinda did worse. That said, Aquaria was still considered safe, and her low-ish showing this episode only took her down from the top spot. I still think she’s in the top 3 for sure.
1. Eureka Blah blah blah Frankie Grande blah blah. Who cares. I like Eureka...I think? Don’t really feel like talking about her tho. I did like that she tried to be sneaky/strategic with her team pairings. Lol.
Anydangway, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. As far as makeover episodes go, this one was one of the better ones I thought. Youtubers will have more charisma than like...army men or the crew...but I feel like it was less challenging to drag out people who are already used to being in front of cameras (or have already done drag).  *Chester See said that his ex girlfriend was obsessed with RPDR and I know he was talking about Grace Helbig, hollaaaaaaa
I THINK there’s 4 episodes left...so that’ll be like 2 more eliminations, a finale, and a reunion or something, ideally. Hopefully? Maybe she’ll bring one back or something. I don’t know. See y’all next week.

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 9, Breastworld
If the girls from Broad City weren’t here this week, I woulda said skip this episode. As far as skit episodes go, this was one of the worst I’ve seen. I’m talking about the script. It was stupid as fuck.
Here have some words:
6. Miz Cracker My heart hurts. This challenge was my last major hope for Crackums to win something, and she didn’t (AND Aquaria did better, AGAIN). I think Cracker’s humor is more conversational, like Trixie’s, and less ACTING oriented. I must admit, I massively overestimated her at the beginning, but in fairness, they kinda set us up to think she was gonna murder the competition. Her quips in episode 1, as well as her fighting words in her MTQ: “I’m the smartest wit that has ever set foot on this motherfucking set. Look out Bianca del Rio.”
Yeah ok.
If she kept the name Brianna, she woulda won. I think she’s going next.
5. Monet X Change Ummm I think Monet is in a sticky spot right now. She’s running out of opportunities to win challenges. So far, her only really high point has been Snatch Game, and she didn’t win that either. She’s just been doing well enough to get through. I’m pretty set on my top 3 now, and I think Kameron has a better shot at top 3 than Monet, but Asia beats them both.
4. Kameron Michaels What can I say. I was wrong about Cracker, and I was wrong about Kameron. Kameron is a really fucking solid drag queen. I had to HAD to roll my eyes when the first few episodes were about nothing but her guy physique. Her drag has been consistently good throughout the competition, and most of the season has NOT been about her looks outta drag. Yeah, she’s faded into the background offstage, but she has a personality type that a lot of people will gravitate to, one that hasn’t really been on the show before. She’s quiet, maybe a little shy; she’s thoughtful but full of doubt. I initially thought this wouldn’t be a recipe for success, but bitch found her narrative. She’s trying her best. and I must say, I like her. Her acting was pretty bad, but in fairness, the lines she had to work with were fucking terrible. Her runway was great. She’s gonna slay the makeup challenge next week, and has an outside chance at top 3.  I think that being saved in a double shantay actually gives her more staying power than if she had just been safe.
3. Asia O’Hara Asia should not have won this week, but she did, so she gets a lot more staying power. Wins towards the end of the season matter a lot more. Asia’s power placement has been extremely high or low throughout the season, but landing high towards the end could mean she’s gonna sneak herself into the top 3.
2. Eureka Eureka flat out sucked this week. I knew she wasn’t going home though. When I saw Kameron slaying the lipsync, I knew it was gonna be a double shantay because Eureka has been written into the top 3 no matter what she does. Yeah, it’s kinda unfair cuz if this was not the case, she woulda sashayed to Kameron. Kameron won that lipsync hands-down. I might as well not even write about Eureka anymore because she just IS going to be in the top 3, but this week changed something. Because I feel so forced to accept her as the winner, I don’t want her to win. I would rather see Aquaria or someone else take the crown. I still think it’s gonna be Eureka’s, but I’m not crazy about it.
1. Aquaria Aquaria shoulda won this week. Her acting was great and her runway was great. Sometimes the judges’ critiques are stupid. This week, they were stupid. Maybe they couldn’t see the detail on her makeup that made her look older, but I definitely understood Aquaria’s perspective on aging, and it was certainly a lot more fashionable than any of the others. Because Aquaria has won twice and hasn’t had to lipsync at all, she moves into the most secure spot on the board. Nice job.
So was this the twist? A double shantay? Hmm. Not exactly a game changer, so there might be another one. This episode kinda felt like filler. We did get some good new arcs for our queens, but overall, not the most exciting episode I’ve seen.
Anydangway, according to maths, the top three SHOULD be Aquaria, Eureka, and Asia. Each has 3 wins. I like that top 3. As of right now, I’d probably vote for Aquaria to take the whole thing, but I think it’s Eureka’s game to win. She just checks a lotta boxes. First fat queen to win. First returning queen to win. I’m fine with it honestly.

RPDR S10 Ep. 8 second look notes: - I’m always inclined to give the Vixen the benefit of the doubt but she is ALWAYS just such a prick about everything.
- Todrick Hall/Carson/Ross need to go. This show has enough illustrious aluma queens who are good at enough things to teach/mentor/choreograph pretty much anything the show needs. The show does NOT need these unfamous, unlikeable non-drag personas that it currently has. Todrick especially seems kinda toxic. He’s very negative, whereas Alyssa was encouraging.
- Yeah Kameron really didn’t deserve to win. She performed pretty well, but she had minimal choreo and her face was stiff the whole time. Her runway was pretty basic, too. I think Cracker was better overall. Do you really expect me to believe she didn’t win because of 1 lash?
- This episode was boring.
- This season is kinda boring.

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 8, (Cher) The Unauthorized Rusical
Fair warning, my brains are still scrambled from last week. This show is going crazy! It’s chaos! It’s so unpredictable! I don’t know what to think anymore. I feel like I just need to...snap out of it!
Actually, with the exception of Kameron winning, I found this episode to be pretty predictable. This episode was pretty much just filler so we could get rid of the Vixen, and we did. Huzzah!
7. The Vixen Ding dong the bitch is dead. This elimination was written on the wall and was only delayed by a week because Monique bombed so hard last week. It didn’t matter what anyone else did this week or who was going up against her because NO ONE survives a 3rd lipsync in a row. Ru seemed like she was itching to get rid of her. Before, I thought there was an outside chance the Vixen could’ve made it to the end, but she couldn’t decide if she wanted to be an evil villain or a whiny victim, and she just came off as volatile and childish. Her rage wasn’t focused, and her drag needs a ton of polish. Obviously, the season’s gonna be a lot more relaxed from here on out. No one’s gonna have to walk on eggshells anymore. There will probably not be any fights going forward, but I’m fine with it. We got enough this season, I think. Thank you Vixen for bringing chaos back to the show and Untucked. We loved to hate you. RIP.
6. Asia O’Hara Asia has been going up and down throughout the season, so it’s hard to know where she stands. After performing pretty poorly 2 weeks in a row, I have no other choice but to put her low. I’m not sure if she’s going home NEXT, but she’s in a really rocky spot right now. Her Beyoncé was bad. Her Cher was bad, and the next challenge is just acting, but she might squeeze through. In the only challenge she won, she got by on silly faces and ugly makeup, not great acting, so I’m a little nervous. After looking back through their track records, I may have overrated Asia a little bit before. Even though she has one win and some great moments throughout the season, she’s the only one who has been consistently low the last couple weeks, which is a bad omen for next week. I’ma be bummed if she goes next, but it’ll pale in comparison to the shock of the Snatch Game episode. Only the Twist will top that.
5. Kameron Michaels I didn’t expect Kameron to ever get a challenge win, but I didn’t expect Aquaria to win Snatch Game either. Next week is acting, which isn’t Kameron’s strong suit, so I refuse to put Kameron any higher despite winning this week. I initially would have put Cracker below Kameron, but Cracks is a good actor and Kameron isn’t (maybe knowing what the next challenge is would be considered cheating for the purposes of writing power rankings but fuck you I do what I want). I actually think the win for this Cher challenge should’ve gone to Cracker and not Kameron. Even though KM has a surprisingly good voice, Cracker was funnier, had harder choreo, and a MUCH better runway look. Kameron’s look was kinda basic. On the other hand, Kameron is finally finally getting some interesting narrative. I actually do kinda like the bitch. She’s thoughtful, reserved, and seems genuinely kind and humble. It’s actually really interesting to see a queen this quiet go this far, and it’s refreshing to have someone there who isn’t such a loudmouth. I feel for Kameron, and I’ve come around on her for the most part since the season began, but I still don’t think she’s gonna go to the end.
4. Miz Cracker Cracker always gets so close, but never quite nabs the win. I don’t really agree at all with the judges’ negative critiques about her this week. Breanna slayed. There’s always next week! It’s weird how Cracker and Aquaria have had this role reversal since episode 1. I think when the season began, most people were gunning for Cracker over Aquaria, but now it seems like Aquawoman is a true fan favorite and Cracker is getting kinda written out. Shit’s nutty. I’m still crossing my fingers for my girl. I think she deserves top 4, but maybe not top 3. She hasn’t won a challenge and is rarely in the top, even in comedy challenges. I dunno. It’s unfortunate but I don’t see her winning after all.
3. Monet X Change Another strong week for Monet! Cool. There’s still a few episodes left and no stupid Twist yet, so I GUESS something crazy could happen, but if things go as they should, she’ll likely be in the top 3 next to Aquaria and Eureka. I think that’s a pretty nice looking top 3. It would have been more interesting to have seen Monique up there instead, but I’ll take what I can get. The top 3 should be diverse but strong all around, and I think Monet has that......well except for her looks. Monet X Change has to have the absolute worst looks out of everyone this season. Her outfit this week was REAL bad, but her Cher was real good, and she’ll probably be fine next week.
2. Aquaria Can someone actually explain to me what Aquaria did to her eyes? That shit was incredible. THAT’S commitment. In the looks department, I’d put Aquaria up into the highest echelons next to Raja and Violet Chachki, the most fashionable queens of all. I’ve never seen a queen with such an artistic eye before. It blows my mind. She may have been “low” this week, but she made it through this, one of the harder challenges, and I can’t envision any possible ending that doesn’t have her in the top 3. You know she’s gonna murder the finale looks, too.
Check out this video. Things like this look are why she’s a frontrunner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WESAj_lQHPs
1. Eureka That dress made me scream. It was EPIC. This’ll probably be the closest she comes to the bottom for the rest of the season. It really doesn’t matter what Eureka does from here on out. Even when she stumbles, she still gets more and more backstory. Every thing not to like about Eureka comes with a good story behind it. I dunno if she’s polarizing or not; most people I’ve talked to have said she’s among their favorites, or they at least recognize she’s going to the end. It’s obvious. I don’t have much else to say about her. I’m just gushing over that  fucking gown.
Some other misc. notes: - Black queens are gonna get judged more harshly in a Cher challenge. - No one did that great (at least in the judges’ eyes) so Kameron won by default. - Assigned roles are bullshit. Asia shoulda gotten to pick who did what since she won the mini challenge.
If the Twist isn’t next episode, I’ma be EXTREMELY nervous beyond that. I know some stupid bullshit fuckery is on the horizon. I feel it in my bones. I think the only one -truly- safe no matter what happens is Eureka. What I fear most is a stupid lipsync tournament. Shea Coulee and Trinity Taylor were robbed. I want this to be a good, fair battle between the top THREE queens. Season 9 had a top 4 finale. That’s a THIRD of the contestants in the finale. Shit’s stupid. Narrow it down so I can really gun for one of em.

RPDR Season 10 Snatch Game second look notes:
- If there was ever a time for a 3 way lipsync, this would be it. Asia was so bad. It's really not right she wasn't up for elimination. I liked her mask, but after a second look, the rest was mediocre. Her, the Vixen, and Monique were all so bad I think it woulda made sense to put them all up there and keep only one.
- Eureka said “I would say Asia should go home because she’s my biggest competition.” This is bullshit for 2 reasons: one, Asia isn’t her biggest competition, and two, that kinda answer wouldn’t and HASN’T flown with Ru before. That’s what they call the “pageant” answer, and queens get read for shit like that all the time, but Eureka needs to look like she’s on higher ground, so they kept it in.
- Next episode is singing, so it's a crime Blair isn't around for it. She woulda slayed. I doubt Aquaria has much of a singing voice. Same for Eureka and Kameron. I know Monet can sing, so she'll probably nab this one.
- Miss Vanjie got a shout out on Eurovision today. She shows up for one episode of drag race and bitch is already an international phenomenon. No other queen has had this little exposure on the show and been this widely beloved.
- The Twist is inevitably coming soon. Some seasons have a good twist, like where they bring back a queen that was wrongly eliminated (7, AS2) or double eliminate two stragglers (5, 8). But some seasons have a stupid twist where they bring back a queen who has no business being there again (3, 4, AS3), AS1s teams, 6's exhausting split entrance episodes, or 9's infamously bullshit lipsync tournament. 10s twist could be anything. It's a complete toss up if it'll be good or bad, but they're usually annoying and unnecessary. A real twist would be to have no twist at all.

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 7, SNATCH GAME!
I can’t breathe. Take me back to the alternate universe where Donald Trump isn’t the president, Bendela wins AS3, and this fucking episode doesn’t end the way it does. I’m FUCKING flabbergasted. Ugh... Well, as expected, Snatch Game shook the everloving fuck outta the season, identified the last of the stragglers, and clarified the true frontrunners. I’m fucking foaming at the mouth after this one. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Basically everything I expected went out the window. Let’s talk about it. *inhale*
8. Monique Heart ... ... ... >:( I am very uncomfortable right now. I need a moment. I feel like the rug was pulled out beneath my feet. Monique was propped up to go to the end, but Monique done Valentina’d herself. It’s rare to see a supposed frontrunner bomb this hard. I’m just shocked. She had always seemed so prepared and ready to crush challenges, AND SHE DID, but not the most important one. I was so excited to see her Maxine Waters, but she drowned. Obviously, the biggest disappointment was the lipsync, cuz even when I saw her in the bottom, I was praying she would crush the Vixen but......FUUUCK.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
This STUPID show is gonna feel like it has such a gaping hole in it now. Monique really is the heart of Season 10. I pray to Divine that the show is watchable without her. She had BETTER FUCKING BE ON THE NEXT ALL STARS (and not bomb that too like Chi Chi DeVayne). *If there is gonna be a Fan Favorite award, it FUCKING better go to Monique, as much as I love Miss Meme Vanjie.
RIP. :((((((((((((((((((((  </3
7. The Vixen The Vixen is so goddamn lucky Monique got in her own way this episode. Vixen’s Snatch Game was bad, her outfit was bad, and pretty much everyone said she should go home, and Ru certainly factors that in. I appreciate things about the Vixen. She’s a powerful person, but she’s NOT likable at all. Being the villain unfortunately means you have to take the likability bullet in favor of making the reality show exciting. If her drag was better, she could go to the end despite being a hateful bitch. That’s what happened to PhiPhi, but the Vixen’s drag isn’t as good. Her performances are weak. Her runways are weak. Again, what’s been keeping her in the competition is drama. If she wasn’t such a hateful bitch, she’da gone home a long time ago.
6. Kameron Michaels Literally every single week I expect Kameron to fail and sashay, but she doesn’t. She is carrying her weight enough to make it through the competition. She isn’t getting in her own way, she’s got DECENT performances every time. Just decent. Decent will never be enough to win. I guess there is an outside chance that we’ll see something interesting from her like a backstory once louder personalities get thinned out, but I doubt it. She has until there’s a week where someone doesn’t sabotage themselves, then she’s out. I don’t see her winning a lipsync against any of these girls.
5. Asia O’hara
I don’t have a lot to say about Asia this week. I still think she has a shot at top 3. Yeah her Snatch Game was bad, but her runway was good again (well I thought it was). She thinks outside the box, giving us ugly Shape of Water* mermaid essence. This is why I like her. Snatch Game is fucking hard. Asia may have fumbled it, but she’s pretty fucking great otherwise. I’m happy she made it through.
4. Miz Cracker I’m kinda disappointed. I was really crossing my fingers that Snatch Game was gonna be Crackers challenge to win, but she didn’t. Sometimes when people pick those obscure celebrities to impersonate, they knock it out of the park, but her jokes were only OK. I’m starting to lose hope that my original pick to win is gonna last that much longer. She still hasn’t won anything. Frontrunners gotta be winning shit, and if you’re a comedy queen who loses THE comedy challenge to AQUARIA, girl, what does that say. I think she still has a bit more staying power over many of the other girls, but with Monet pulling ahead of her after sucking so hard for so long, I’m nervous for Breanna. :/
3. Monet X Change Well look who finally decided to show up to work today! Strong showings 2 weeks in a row now. Hooray for Monet! I can finally, FINALLY, FINAAAALLYYYYY see why people said she was good. She’s good! Her Maya Angelou was funny! TAKE NOTES CHI CHI. I never DISLIKED Monet, it just took her 6-7 episodes to find her footing, and since Snatch Game is the most important challenge to succeed in, she’s redeemed her past flops and secured a new position as a real contender. I ~still~ would rather see Cracker or Asia in the top 3, but Monet has a solid shot. Adore landed in the bottom 2 twice in her season and got top 3, so anything is possible, really.
2. Aquaria Aquaria won Snatch Game. WHO THE FUCK WOULDA GUESSED THAT?!! I’m really proud of her. I’m happy with how I’ve turned a complete 180 on some of these queens since preseason. From her Meet the Queens, I thought Aquaria was overrated, vapid, and immature. Well, maybe she still is all of those things, but she is a fucking TALENTED drag queen. It’s scary how much talent is contained in such a tiny person. This episode was truly shocking. I was dumbfounded at how well she was doing as Melania. Mind you, my expectations were low. I was fully expecting her to be lipsyncing, but she killed it. AND THAT RUNWAY??? Hands down the best. She’s smart, despite being dumb, does that make sense? Nope. I think she’s artistically very intelligent, just kind of an airhead in regular conversation, I guess, but I don’t care. I really fucking like Aquaria. I’m locking in her spot in the top 3 with Eureka. Bitch earned it.
EDIT: I didn’t even notice the first time watching that her name tag said “Michelle Obama” I can’t even.
1. Eureka Duh. Should I even bother writing anything? No surprises here, Eureka did great in the Snatch Game. Her runway was kinda meh, but she wisely took the high ground when The Vixen came for her. Unless this show is entirely staged (bitch it might be) and they’re feeding her lines, Eureka plays the game masterfully. She’s a smart, smart cookie. She knows when to be an angry bitch (Untucked), she knows when to be a loving, gentle soul (in front of the judges). I don’t think she’s fake about it, she’s just wise about it. I mean, her strategy of playing a 6 year old and drawing pictures saved her from actually having to come up with any clever answers in the Snatch Game. Maybe she is childish. I mean this is the second time now that she’s played a baby/child, but whatever. Being an adult is overrated. Eureka is a knockout performer, and when she wins the season, I think it will be well deserved.
*exhale*
OK. The room is spinning. Everything’s all topsy turvey, left, right, up, down, this way, thatta way... I feel like Alyssa Edwards did a spinning death drop triple flip shablam split onto my brain and done tongue popped it outta my head. Monique leaves? Aquaria wins??? WHAT IS HAPPENING??? It’s sad, but that’s the game. Survival of the fittest, I guess. Anydangway, Eureka and Aquaria are obviously in the top 3 unless they get hit with some riggor-morris. I think the third will be Asia...but could be Monet. They still haven’t implemented any sort of season-changing Twist yet, and that’ll surely shake things up a lot. Ugh. My Heart hurts.....I’ma take a nap, and I’ll see y’all next week.....

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 6, DragCon Panel Extravaganza
I have a strange urge to sit on a cake now. Can I get a tally on who would pay me to make a cake farts video? Anyway, these longer episodes are really important. We’re getting fun and stupid mini challenges again! Season 9 had like...two. Longer episodes mean longer challenges, more runway puns, fuller lipsyncs, and better work room shenanigannery. This season is alright by me, mawma. Time to SHOOT the SHIT.
9. Blair St. Clair Ima try to be sad about Blair going without being condescending. Everyone treats her like a little baby child just cuz she looks like one. Blair was really lovable and wonderful and I liked her a whole lot, but I knew this was coming. Like Dusty, she's great but she’s just not a powerhouse like the rest. I’m surprised they never talked about her DUI nonsense (maybe that happened after filming idk im too lazy to look it up), but I’m glad she got to open up about her rape story even though it was shoved clumsily in right before the lipsync (that’s when they like to do it, Roxxxy Andrews) but like the great Lady Bunny once said, if you wanna be on Drag Race, "BE READY TO HAVE A BACKSTORY!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOxdReoQjvg ~21:19 Blair got hers in, but alas, we had to say goodbye. RIP.
8. The Vixen It seems like the Vixen has cooled off for the most part. Unfortunately for her, her fight is the only fuel she had to keep her in the race. Her challenges and runways certainly aren’t going to. I’m glad Ru mentioned that her looks always have something unpolished about em, cuz it’s true. Every single look has had an awkward arts-and-crafts kinda feel to it.
7. Monet X Change Monet didn’t do too bad this week. I think she kinda got carried by Eureka, though. Unless there’s some sorta gross upset, her days are numbered. Snatch Game is next week. It will always separate the boys from the Queens and clarify who the real frontrunners are. Good luck.
6. Kameron Michaels Kameron is NOT a bad queen. I don’t think she’s so bad that her sexy-outta-drag-ness is the ONLY reason she’s on the show buuuut I still think it’s her main selling point. She is doing alright in the challenges. Just alright. She’s never SO bad or SO good. She’s just there. Her narrative at this point is that she’s a muscular person and that’s made it hard for her to work in the drag scene. You expect me to sympathize with that? You poor thing. Man, I’m so glad I don’t have a great physique. Must be tough. “I can’t wear spaghetti straps cuz of my huge arms!!” :(((
5. Miz Cracker I’m getting major Trixie AND Katya vibes from Cracker lately. She’s like their love child. Like Trixie, Cracker’s charisma and comedy chops aren’t fully coming through in the challenges. I think she’s either gonna stomp Snatch Game...or lipsync after it. Like Katya, she seems to be completely in her head and has a lot of self doubt (and has a recap show on youtube!).  Cracker might not win the season. She might not even be in the top 3, but she sure as shit is gonna be joining the pantheon of fan favorites like Trixie and Katya. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kZkt3GIiG8
3-4. Aquaria The 3 and 4 spot are tied between Aquafina and Asia this week. They’re both in really solid positions and both have a decent shot at the top 3. I really thought Aquaria was gonna BOMB this challenge cuz it involved talking at all, but the bitch held her own, although I think her team got carried by Monique. Her runway though, as per usual, was IMPECCABLE. Even though she’s socially awkward, I like Aquaria. She’s just gonna need to differentiate herself from Violet a bit more if she’s gonna win.
3-4. Asia O’Hara Holy fuck that dandelion hat was incredible, but the dress didn’t match. Anyway, I’m really happy with where Asia is right now. At THIS point, I think the #3 spot is neck and neck between her and Aquamentis. Similar positions. They’re both doing pretty well in the challenges, sometimes a little shaky, but have astounding runways. Asia’s are so conceptual and outta the box. Not necessarily something you’d expect from a Texas pageant girl. Could be the first major pageant girl to win. She’s getting plenty of screentime, giving great confessionals, and has great workroom banter. I just think all of those things are getting a little outclassed by...
2. Monique Heart The QUEEN of season 10. Monique is everything to me. Broken record broken record...I love her. She’s funny, she’s smart, she’s well-spoken, THAT FUCKING LAUGH, she’s charming, she can make a fucking look in like 30 minutes, she has great stage presence. Monique has it all. SHE JUST DOESN’T HAVE A FUCKING WIN YET. But you know what, idgaf. Sasha Velour didn’t win shit on her own EXCEPT HER SEASON*. Monique is clearly a frontrunner. If Eureka wasn’t already winning S10, my pick would be Monique, hands down.
Absolute #1 - Eureka First queen to win 2 challenges in a row. #Elephant Queen is trampling the competition and I’m living for her, BUT (and it’s a big but) Eureka has a clear, and maybe unfair, advantage and this episode showcases it. Eureka already had 5 RPDR episodes of experience before this season started AND she’s already had plenty of off-show work. She’s done panels at DragCon before, she’s been on roasts and tours galore, she already has a fanbase. This season is like 13 queens going up against an All-Star. On top of that, she is still getting ALL of the screentime both on the show and in Untucked. They gave her a family TV moment this week, and she’s always seen comforting the bottom girls. The season was made for her to win...it’s getting a little too predictable. Break your other knee, bitch! Just kidding. Even though she has a big advantage, I DO think she is earning her spot at the top. We already knew she was c-u-n-t but this episode reminds us how SMART she is, and remember what I said in episode 1: Ru tends to crown smart queens. Eureka is really great. Last week I was 97% sure she would be in the top 3. I’m 100% now.
WHEW that was a lotta words, anydangway, This episode was pretty good, but all I can think about now is SNATCH GAAAAAME next week, the undeniable best challenge of all. The race becomes tighter and tighter, and who the leaders are gets clearer and clearer. Snatch Game is the biggest reveal into who’s gonna take the top spots at the end, and I can’t wait to find out! See you next week, turds!
*Trinity Taylor shoulda won S9. Fight me.
-EMERGENCY EDIT- Y’all, Blair’s single she just dropped is actually GOOD. I don’t normally like drag race alum music, but this girl can sing!!! Check this shit out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rWWGbCcbpM

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 5, The Bossy Rossy Show
I haven’t said this yet, so I guess I will now. I don’t base my ranks only off of how well they do in the challenges. I factor it in, but mainly it comes down to how they do on the show at large, in and out of the challenges and runway. I think screentime, backstory, and backstage buffoonery factor just as much into the final vote as challenge wins do, especially if the fans get a say.
10. Monet X Change I was wondering when this would happen. The queen I would consider the weakest wasn’t the one that went home. This happens often on the show. Sometimes the queen who sashays isn’t the one who did the worst. Trinity and Dela in season 6, Trixie and Katya in 7, etc, though those are all more egregious examples, Monet is easily the weakest in the competition right now including Mayhem. In this episode, I think she was the only one who’s performance AND outfit were bad. Her lipsync gimmicks weren’t quite as impressive as last week, either. It was all sloppy. Could’ve been a double elim for all I care. Whatever. Monet probably is a great and hilarious queen (Cracker’s “best queen in NYC”). She’s just not showing it on the show. If she lands in the bottom again, she’s toast.
9. Mayhem Miller I’m kinda used to this phenomenon. Sometimes queens who shouldn’t be in the bottom 2 end up in the bottom 2 and then leave. Mayhem by no means did great this week, but I think the Vixen and Asia did worse. I would’ve put Asia and Monet in the bottom 2, but it’s not my show. I’m sad to see Mayhem go cuz I was super excited to see her on the show, but alas, this was bound to happen sooner or later. RIP. -Mayhem is my first major candidate for Miss Congeniality.
8. Kameron Michaels I feel like the second I start to like Kameron, she’s gonna leave, so I won’t! She didn’t do too bad in the challenge, and her outfit was pretty good. They have been pretty good for the most part, but Kameron still gets no screen time in the work room and hardly any in Untucked and absolutely NONE in confessionals. Who the fuck is she? Things we know about Kameron Michaels:  1. ‘hot’ out of drag, 2. can get rid of spiders if needed, 3. likes Shania Twain. That’s it. I GUESS there’s an outside chance that she snipes her way to one of the final episodes but I will be VERY surprised and VERY bitter if she does; it’s a reality show and they seem to think being sexy outta drag is worth keeping someone in a drag competition.
7. Blair St. Clair I really really like Blair, but she’s starting to remind me of Farrah Moan. Not that she’s whiny, but because she’s just like a lovely fruit that hasn’t quite ripened. She’s a talented queen, for sure, but is still getting eclipsed by bigger, louder, crazier and more mature queens. Unless she’s hiding something fantastic up her sleeve, she won’t survive her first lipsync.
6. The Vixen I’m glad that the Vixen has cooled her jets some. Showing a more docile side will help her a lot if she wants a shot at the crown, but the damage she’s already inflicted might be fatal. For all I know there could be another fight or two in the future. Her enemies Aquaria and Eureka are sailing ahead, and that might trigger some hostilities. I see two futures for the bomb that is the Vixen (and neither are her winning): either she explodes on someone and self destructs and that stress sends her home OR she totally fizzles out of drama and relevance and it sends her home. Either way, she has until the rest of the fodder queens are gone before she herself gets gone. 5. Asia O’Hara I’m kinda worried that Asia’s high point/win might’ve been just a one-time thing. I mean, it pretty much just was her making funny faces. Two week in a row now she’s been kinda weak. I’m not sure if she’ll crush Snatch Game or not. Maybe she’ll pull a Kennedy and fuckin nail it. Maybe it’ll send her home. I hope not. I really like her. I want her to be top 4, but I think right now she’s drifting between the frontrunners and the middle-of-the-pack queens.
4. Aquaria Aquaria’s drag isn’t QUITE my cuppa tea, but she’s undeniably doing quite well. Her looks are strong. Her performances are usually solid. She BABBLES (like a baby) but she’s getting a story line. We know who she is. She’s been ...nice?... in Untucked here and there and everyone makes a big deal about it. They did the same with Violet. I wouldn’t totally hate seeing Aquaria in the top 3 tho. She’ll definitely look good for it, but I don’t think she’s gonna win.
3. Monique Heart #TeamMonique. Monique and Cracker are still tied for my favorite. I love it when I kinda roll my eyes at a queen during preseason but then they knock my socks off during the show. Sorry I doubted you, girl. I think she’s doing well so far. Please please please survive Snatch Game. Fuck what I said last week, I need her to be in the top 3. Let a strong showing for Monique be the justice that Jaidynn Dior Fierce never got.
2. Miz Cracker Woohoo! Always happy to see Breanna back in the top, but she still hasnt FUCKING won anything yet (Snaaatch Gaaaame?). I was expecting her to really crush this challenge and she ONLY did great. Sigh. She’s a fucking crazy dork and her sense of humor is so stupid and I love her but I think she’s getting a little in her head. I’m kinda nervous that she’s gonna get the Katya treatment (like they blame her elimination on her insecurity but in reality they kick her off over something arbitrary like a catsuit (Pearl shoulda gone home (but I’m not bitter))).
1. Eureka I HAVE NOT LOOKED UP ANY SPOILERS ON REDDIT so I don’t know if I’m right, but I’m like 97% sure Eureka will be in the top 3. I think she’s gonna win. I guess I’m repeating myself at this point, but Eureka is getting all the screentime AND has a win under her belt now. It’s pretty clear. Eureka, Miz Cracker, and Monique Heart look like an incredible top 3. With Eureka winning, it leaves the other two open to All Stars. This is what I want to happen. Will it happen? Probably not, but whatever. I still watch this stupid show. Goo goo ga ga stick a pickle in my mouth and a cactus in my butt.  I laughed a lot during this episode. They really didn’t suck at improv, which is great cuz S10 doesn’t actually have a ton of ACTOR queens (Dusty and Blair, that’s kinda it?). Anydangway, I’m enjoying this season for the most part so far. There’s just enough drama to keep it from being boring, and the challenges are going pretty well. There hasn’t really been a jaw dropping moment yet, but the season’s hardly even halfway done. Still plenty of time to fear the dreaded Twist. I just hope there’s not a stupid lipsync tournament like in S9...

Ep. 4 second look notes:
-Maybe Aquaria did do the best? But that’s kinda cuz no one else did that great. No one did the best. There.
-Monet has done 3 red outfits with blonde hair IN A ROW.  Also I cackled when I first heard someone call her “SpongeBob the drag queen”
-I still don’t like Ru’s look. Sorry.
-Definitely shoulda placed The Vixen over Mayhem. Nepotism is at work. The Vixen has just made so much more of an impression.

Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 10 Power Rankings - Ep. 4, The Last Ball on Earth
THE END IS NEAR! Just kidding, we’re only 4 episodes in. I’m loving these extra long episodes, but my god that runway lasted an ETERNITY. How you gonna give us 33 fucking looks and not one of them makes me pee myself? Whatever. 4 down, 10 to go!!!
12. Rupaul Charles What the actual tiddy fuck is going on with Rupaul. Last week she hid her voice, this week she hid her face. Did Raven and Delta go on strike? Her outfit was distracting as fuck. Did her skin color change? Was this a body double with Ru’s voice dubbed over? Was that Trixie in disguise?? I couldn’t even really fully focus on the episode cuz I thought Ru was gonna do a reveal or some shit. I guess it was just a look. OK. Maybe it was referencing something I’m too ignorant to get. Dunno. EDIT: This was a nod to Leigh Bowery but it didn’t click cuz it had nothing to do with this challenge. After the transphobic comments and her clear autopilot setting this season, I can’t shake the feeling that the end really is near. 11. Dusty Ray Bottoms Kinda saw this coming. Dusty just got eclipsed by bigger personalities. I’m sad to see her go. She’s so funny and nice, but yeah she kinda deserved to go this week. What a stunning lipsync though. That was really neck and neck. If Monet hadn’t pulled out that epic split, I was fully expecting Ru to keep them both. RIP.
10. Monet X Change IT’S ABOUT TIME. Yeah, this is a cathartic moment for me. Monet’s been made out to be so amazing, but she hasn’t really given anything amazing in the show. She’s very smart, and she’s a GREAT lipsync performer, but she hasn’t given a single amazing look or stand out challenge performance yet. Maybe landing in the bottom will spark something outta her and we’ll see it in the improv challenge next week, but there’s plenty of other girls who are just as good and have actually shown it.  Oh also can we stop with the sponges.
9. Kameron Michaels I’m gonna go easy on Kameron this time because Kameron really isn’t bad. Her looks, especially this week, have been pretty good. She identifies as a gamer which I appreciate and her looks reflect it. I still don’t think she’s making enough of an impression to go much father though. Kameron’s presence as a thirst trap just frustrates me cuz it reminds me that RPDR isn’t quite what I want it to be (I’ll explain later), and I will take this frustration out on her as a TV contestant, even if it’s not all her doing.
8. Blair St. Clair Was there! Nah, she’s doing alright, but like Dusty, she’s kinda getting overshadowed. I think her sashay is bound to happen sooner rather than later. The next challenge is improv, and Snatch Game is still yet to come, so maybe this little theatre kid will do well and surprise us.
7. The Vixen The Vixen just straight up has anger management issues and I’m over it. It’s obnoxious. They keep talking about “poking the bear.”  Why does she gotta a bear all the time? Like I said before, the reality show drama is Vixen’s narrative. Exquisite drag and great performance isn’t. The winner of drag race needs to be lovable and the Vixen isn’t at all. Yes, the drama makes for good TV, but Phi Phi was never gonna win and neither will the Vixen.
6. Mayhem Miller Ummm...hmmm....uhhhhh.....what can I say. I’m kinda disappointed with how this is going for her. When the cast was announced, I was more excited to see her than anyone else, but she’s not killing it. She’s not really doing anything. She’s just coasting. I think her bottom placement last week will keep her fire lit for a while, but she’s got some serious contenders ahead of her, and I don’t realistically see her triumphing over any of them.
5. Monique Heart I’m trying to be more fair and less biased this week. I still think Monique is giving us the best soundbytes, confessional bits, and workroom buffoonery, but her challenge performances are just not dominating. At this point, I’m leaning more towards her going far, but not top 3, but still becoming a strong fan favorite and possible All Stars contender.
4. Miz Cracker I’m glad she landed in the top even though I don’t know why. I thought all of her outfits were bad. Sorry. I think they put her in the top (even though they easily could’ve wrote her into the bottom) because she’s gonna be a finalist. It’s gonna be either her or Aquaria in the top 3 and they’re probably going to lipsync against each other and I wouldn’t be surprised if Aquaria wins it. It’s making me nervous that Cracker hasn’t won a challenge yet, but she’s got some good opportunities with the acting challenges yet to come.
3. Asia O’Hara Yeah she may have landed in the bottom, but she’s not going anywhere anytime soon. She got a lot of good storyline stuff. She’s the mom of the season! I’m glad she was safe, but man, that fuzz ball swimsuit was horrendous. Also Michelle calling her space look “basic” was just flat out wrong.
2. Aquaria Meh. I didn’t think she did the BEST this episode (she had her crotchamus hanging out), but she got a win. USUALLY, frontrunners rack up the wins and then by the end, each of them has about 2. Aquaria is a skilled queen though, she has an undeniable eye for artistic fashion. She is an echo of Pearl and Violet, a vestige of the S7 spirit and those queens went far. Aquaria can DANCE though, and I think I’m liking her more than Pearl, even if her personality is a dud.
1. Eureka In the challenge, Eureka did pretty well. I’m excited to see what she does in Snatch Game, but in Untucked...Ohhhhh bitch...WE GOTTA EUREKA FIGHT. @The Vixen: fool me twice, shame on YOU. Eureka didn’t cave under the Vixen’s pressure like Aquaria did. She got in her face and fought back, but I don’t think anyone has the patience to smack The Vixen down. She’s just gonna implode and sashay, hopefully (or she’ll be in the top 3). Eureka is still getting tons of screen time and I EASILY think she'll be top 3 at this point. She’s my current pick to win it all. It’s not because I want her to, it’s because I think she will.
Anydangway, next week is improv, and Snatch Game (more improv) is on the way, so we’re getting into weeding out the middle-of-the-pack queens, starting with Dusty, as expected.  Here’s what I think: -Kameron goes next (how long have I been saying this) -I wouldn’t be surprised if Monet usurps Monique, Cracker or Asia’s rightful spot above her. Sometimes queens take half the season to rev up. -We can all agree Vanessa Vanjie is coming back in one way or another, right? -Cracker, Monique, and Asia are my faves, and all 3 are making me nervous. -I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Vixen makes it to top 3. It’s hard to imagine Untucked without her. At the end of the day, it’s a reality show which brings me to a point...
I wish Drag Race was a drag show and not a race. By that I mean, I wish it wasn’t a reality show or a competition. Maybe we have a place for that, but I wish we had a show that was more a showcase of the artform of drag in all its facets and less about dumb petty drama and arbitrary rules and twists and competition. Yeah sure, watching catty fags fight is entertaining, but it could be better.
