This amuses me so much.

This has SO much potential! I can just imagine just Kogoro trying to parent both Shinichi and Ran while being their age and just trying to be covering it.

He was probably a menace at that age, and he is just getting karma with teen detective that is constantly being in chaos and his daughter who can kill five grown men.

On a more serious note, it would be enjoyable to see him trying to subtly mentor Shinichi, so entertaining.

Okay lemme try to explain this

My friend and I came up with an AU (mostly my friend, they come up with all the good ideas) where A. The Apotoxin ages you less if you're older and B. Shinichi bails on taking Ran to Tropical Land, so Kogoro takes her instead and is the one who gets shrunk. Megure takes the place of Agasa as the one person who knows at first, and points out that Ran is now in danger, offering to drive her to Eri's until they can figure out what to do. Either by Megure's suggestion or happenstance/desperation (or both) Kogoro ends up asking Shinichi for help.

It's basically a role reversal, Kogoro hiding his true identity from Shinichi and ending up living at the Kudo mansion, both of them trying to track down the Black Org. (Honestly Kogoro being shrunk to Teen Size instead of Child Size doesn't impact a whole lot except them it being easier for them to chat/be friends. And no, it's not an excuse to ship them, I find that Gross. But I do like the idea that they become friends, more than they ever would've with Kogoro normally being an overprotective parent that refuses to understand Shinichi on a deeper level than "Smart aleck brat that steals my jobs")

Okay rewatching Encanto has me thinking about my favorite character Bruno and looking at fan art.

But while I love how when creating younger versions of julita pepa and Bruno, Bruno is a anxious mess as a kid, can we just make thr headcanon that he was basically the naruto of this verse.

Like okay, hated by the village and an outcast of his family. I think he would be a little shit definitely that caused him to gain the reputation of town prankster. Basically Camilo but worse. Like the growing a gut and lose your hair are pretty not serious predictions that came true.

It's one of those things where you grow out of those phases yet everyone still treats you like that 💀

Can we say that Bandai owes us a digimon game where we are our like a brand of digi destined.

Like come on.

I WILL rant about this again! Over and over again.

Digimon surviver so far is decent for me, love the art style and aesthetic about it and digimon cyberseluth is perhaps on my top ten favorite games of all time, fun with battles and characters.

I feel like these two have themes of childhood and coming of age sorta but never fully commit to it. Which I feel like is a missed opportunity. Digimon anime fans love it because of the feeling of coming of age and growing with these characters.

My ideal game would us playing as a digi destined, wether we go to the digital world or a digimon in the real world. We then look for other digi destined and gain trust between them with similar options like surviver and a similar battle style like cyber sleuth.

I think it would have a different elements to it to distinguish it from the anime, alternate universe you can say so it can kinda parallel to the anime but not be the same things. With the chance to develop a relationship with your other friends, their is a chance to implement fusions with your Digimon like tamers and even fusions with other digimon like 02. I want a game that is the ultimate love letter to old fans and a fun story to new fans 😭

I NEED MORE KOGORO GOOD DAD AGENDA 

I love Kogoro and Shinichi's interaction in this panel. I wonder how they acted around each other during Shinichi & Ran's childhood. Sure Kogoro was aware of Shinichi & Ran's feeling (so were Yusaku & Yukiko, and Eri too?) and just being a protected father for Ran. And maybe slightly irritated with Shinichi's skill as a Detective. But i'm sure he was care about Shinichi's wellbeing. Anyway, we already got some nice scene of Kogoro & Conan's in the anime original. Hope there will be more of it, especially in the manga.
