Fair Warning--This blog contains themes of death, as well as occational spiritual/religeous themes. I also intend on sharing Christian music on Wednesdays if I'm able to. Check out my Pinned Post if you have questions, as a lot of answers are provided there! Thanks for the visit!
Is Jamie also afraid of Scizor, since it's Scyther's evolution?
Yes, but not quite as badly, as she doesn't have any personal experience with them. Plus, a large part of the fear is the blades. Big meaty claws ol' pinchers are pretty scary too, though.
By chance, would Jamie being afraid of Scyther have anything to do with the whole dark typing thing, (dark is weak against bug if I remember correctly?) Or is it due to an unrelated incident?
My brain decided to do an angsty (but also wholesome) hair comic. :>
I've been informed that one of the panels can potentially be an abuse trigger--It's not meant as a portrayal as abuse, but rather a fear. Nonetheless, the warning still stands, just in case. ^^
Did Jamie understand human speech at all before she was taken in by her brother and his wife?
Yes. She had about 6 years with humans before ending up in the wild. She got a bit rusty, but she could understand and speak to Jordan and Rose. By that time she was more fluent in Pokespeak though.
My motivation has still been fickle, but I had a desire to draw some Jamie angst...
Whiiiich led to me figuring out her brother, Jordan.
So, Jordan has been sorely underdeveloped, in part because I've found him boring... I know that's a terrible thing to think about one's own character, but it's been the sad truth and part of why he's gotten so little attention from me.
I've run him by some friends and gotten some lovely ideas for him though, so there's that. ^^
Anyway, here's the angst.
Someone suggested Jamie being sick in the wild vs. being sick with Jordan and Rose. (Among other things I'd still like to draw.)
Someone else also made a neat suggestion, but I'm not ready to share those doodles yet... They're a wee bit spoilery. :>
