I do wish you were here with us. It’s been such an adventure, but nothing like our times in Narnia. America is very exciting, except we never see Father. He works so very hard. I was invited to the British Consul’s tea party this week by a naval officer, who happens to be very handsome. I think he fancies me. It seems the Germans have made the crossing difficult right now. Times are hard. Mother hopes you both won’t mind another few months in Cambridge.

THE AUTUMN NARNIAN GIFT EXCHANGE.
for @jillpcle by @calormen .
her name was LILLIANDIL, and she was the daughter and inheritor of the great star, ramandu. a queen of both land and sky , her hair was spun stardust , and within it shone the sky of a world unknown to any narnian born creature. though those from our world — like the good queen lucy , would look at those mirrored stars and know a great comfort , as the star queen held the constellations of earth in her hair, and narnia in her flesh .

Struck near-breathless by the realization that Digory brought Jadis into Narnia, and I bet he wept at least a little on hearing from the Pevensies what she had done, but then hearing how Aslan made things right must have given him so much joy, and then he would have told his own tale of the birth of Narnia, and his experiences, and I bet he and Edmund in particular had a strong understanding, and developed a really lovely friendship, because of their experiences with Jadis.

Hey, you made a list of names for all the Narnian months, I think, sometime back? (Forgive me if I'm wrong.)
Any chance you could supply the link to that post? And is it okay if I use them in any fics I write?
Thanks!
--Rain
Hi Rain! So I definitely didn't name all the months. Greenroof is a month name from Prince Caspian, and I came up with just a few of others sort of in that vein for a story I wrote a while ago. Here's the months included in that story:
Cleardome ~ March
Laceveil ~ May
Highgrass ~ July
Greenroof ~ September
(I also proposed in that story that the Narnian year is actually longer than ours is, so the alignment between their months and ours is approximate)
Feel free to use those month names if you like, and if you end up filling out the calendar further you should tag me!
