Meet Recap It was a hot day and I was fired up! Highs and lows all over in this meet. Squats: Got called high on 507 so had @notmrsdonjohnson help me with depth and secured my first 500+ squat in the books. Bench: Took 385 for an easy opener and the pressed 402 to secure my first 400+ bench in the books. Took 424 for my 3rd and got red lights. I think I could take this again in November and get it. Deadlift: Ran late coming back and had to throw my opener. @notmrsdonjohnson coming in clutch again and helped me warm up in 2 sets, then took 435 for an easy opener and took my token 457 for the day. Guess I'll have to wait until November to beat my 474. Despite some set backs I still took home the gold for the 220 equipped open division. 5/9, 11lb meet PR on squat, 39 meet PR on bench, 1366 total, 33lb meet PR for total. Still chasing 1400 in November. Extra special thanks to @jennmxiong for supplying extra snacks and drinks, recording, keeping me fed, and running all the way back home to get my singlet because I'm dumb and forgot it. Max Effort Lower Program got weird towards the end and had max Effort Lower twice, with the second being a deload. Training is between 2 days back to back. Squats: 507 for a strong single then backdowns of 457 for 2脳1. Deadlifts: 3脳1 at 407 Squats Deload: 505 for a walked single, not bad for walked and a slightly more narrow stance. Triphasic Lower Week 11 Ballistic Squats Swapped the camber bar for the @texaspowerbars squat bar. That was a mistake, the bands were so much longer it decreased my speed which was the whole point of these. Max Effort Work ME Upper: Found a decent opener for the meet to a 1 board, then took it to a 2 board and tripled it to a 3 board. Then it was max Effort to a 3 board where I came up with 496 for a top single. ME Lower: Took a decent opener with a bad pick but a solid squat. Looked a little high but I'm sure I'll have it on meet day. Backdowns after of 405 for 3 doubles. Oscillatory RDL's: 4脳5 Max Effort Upper: Strong reverse bands bench to a 1 board. Got me a huge PR in the shirt of 575 for a top single, then did it for 5 to a 3 board and 4 board. Max Effort Lower: Nice new squat PR if 562 even if it was a bit high. Back downs of 474 for doubles after.
