Hi, my name is Mary Morgan. I'm almost 26 and my chronic illnesses are progressing. I have reached the point of needing to rely heavily on a wheelchair in order to continue having as much independence as I can. Unfortunately custom wheelchairs are incredibly expensive, but it's a necessity for me. Having one that was made specifically for me gives me even more accessibility and independence than a regular wheelchair. And the ability to always be able to rely on it no matter what happens, opens my world up even more, yet also brings the comfort knowing the specific accessibility that was made specifically for me will always be there. Making dealing with my disabilities a bit easier, which I desperately need. Thank you for taking the time to read this. All donations are welcomed, even just sharing this makes a huge difference

They would have to pry Hayes Campbell from my dead, cold hands! I would never give that boy up!

This is your semi regular reminder that disability doesn’t always look like someone sitting in a wheelchair. That’s an ableist and harmful angle to take.

i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.
