I totally agree, especially with the team not having healthy relationships between any of them. Perhaps Fiztsimmons are the exception but not always, not really.

But (outside the very important need for therapy of them all) Daisy, May & Coulson’s relationship always stays as a family bond even when it’s not really healthy. Most of families in the world don’t have healthy relationships between all the members all the time but doesn’t mean they stop loving each other.

Like, the three of them won’t be sitting every night to eat dinner together or anything but they would fight anyone and die for each other without hesitation. Coulson and May put Daisy in danger but they would be absolutely devastated if she died. And May and Daisy fought so hard to keep Coulson alive even when he clearly didn’t want for them to sacrifice the world for him.

The three of them weren’t healthy or fair with each other, they didn’t take the best decisions but, a the end of the day and like most families, they always loved or cared for each other

It’s funny how Agents of SHIELD just has one of the best representation of a loving family and its dynamics when the parents aren’t even together until when one of them is dying and none of them shares actually blood with their daughter

Also Deke did a kind of mess up/creepy thing with the frameworld and Daisy on season 6. Which I understand was made as comic relieve and not to think much about it but… wtf my boy

One of the worst takes that I ever read about AoS was on Pinterest despite me being so active on the shield subreddits. It was in regards to that conversation in season 5 where Deke was trying to tell Daisy that he liked her but couldn't because Daisy started to talk about Lincoln. Deke got the hint (or did he?) and left her alone.

Someone commented on that post that they really wanted to slap Daisy because deke was so in love with her and she was so clueless.

And all I could think was do you think this is some kind of a rom-com where the guy always gets the girl? And most importantly why do people expect Daisy to fall in love with Deke? He was a bozo in season 5 and only got sort of better in season 7? Do they expect her to forget that he sold her out to the Kree? Or even the fact that he acts like a child most of the time? And while it is understandable given where he grew up, Daisy isn't really obliged to find it or him attractive.

Needless to say that I uninstalled the Pinterest app that day.

Yes it was so bad BUT the continuity on this show was so fucking good? Like, most shows usually forget about this kind of things after one episode and it always pisses me off so much. But not AoS. They never disappointed.

I think the final couple of episodes of AOS season 3 are incredibly funny if only for the fact that Daisy is soooo fucking anemic and nobody acknowledges it at all.

Look at her. She has been sucked DRY. Somebody get her a cookie and some iron pills stat.

I need to talk about how utterly devastating Daisy’s expression is when Daniel volunteers to stay behind in the finale (before Deke takes one for the team instead) because it genuinely makes me SICK to think about.

Look at her:

It’s her sudden realisation that the one thing- the only thing- that she has wanted for herself for years is being torn away from her again.

Because of course it is, just like everything else in her goddamn life.

Of course, just when she starts to hope for something, the universe steals it away from her. Because when has it not?

She almost looks betrayed- betrayed by herself if anything. Because she let her guard down, she let herself feel again, and it was all for nothing.

And the pure disbelief in her eyes, as if she can’t fathom that it’s happening again at first- genuinely the one thing she fears the most- is heartbreaking. It’s genuinely so, so shattering.

But HEY, it’s fine. Deke stepped in and now they get to live happily ever after, the end. :,D It’s fine everything is FINE.

i firmly believe that sirius was marlene's guy best friend. he scared away any boys that tried to hit on her, and pretended to be her boyfriend. they fought like siblings and were each other's first kisses.
