When he found out that a drunkard bard was an Archon, he was a bit disturbed, but he was accepting of it. He knew that he should not judge a book by its cover. Even if the commissions he takes are weird, like exchanging poetry with hilichurls, he was ok with it…but this special commission from the Northland Bank takes the cake of being the weirdest one of all, it even brought Paimon, freaking Paimon to tears. “Who would do this?!” Paimon exclaimed. Aether agrees - What sort of parents in their right minds would do such a thing?! Childe wanted to see his lover, Zhongli; when he reached the house, he could hear Zhongli, moaning. He was curious…was Zhongli getting off by himself? He smirked, he would love to see it. When he opened the door, however, he saw a man on top of a naked Zhongli…

“‘…I wanted to make sure that I love you,’ is what he said,” Childe told the group of individuals gathered. “Damn, that’s cruel,” Kaeya said. “I’m sorry you had to go through that,” Thoma said, holding Childe’s shoulder. Meanwhile, Diluc looked like he wanted to murder everyone before grabbing the bottle away from the group of drunk individuals. “Aww, don’t be so cold, Diluc! He’s heartbroken like the rest of us! Can I share next?” Venti asked, grabbing the bottle from him.

Aether becomes a matchmaker and hopes that Childe will get it together and tell Zhongli how he feels while Aether tries to help Zhongli realize that the feelings he has, are of love.
