The coast of Gaza has grown increasingly popular over the years. It had always been a sight for weary eyes but with Israel’s siege denying Gazans the freedom to move, its seemingly endless seascape offers, for many, a very tangible escape, even if only temporal. It has also become a very popular family destination. Entire meals are prepared, served, and eaten here, and it is not uncommon to stay the night, father, son, and all.

Remember that you are not helpless and you are not useless during this time. Especially as a white American or white British citizen right now, you hold a significant amount of power. If you back down and cave in to this helplessness and uselessness that you feel, then these politicians who allow the genocide of Palestine have won.

Even keeping a steady flow of posts talking about Palestine is enough. Do not quiet down. Do not fail the people of Palestine more than they already have been.

Mela and Arven aren’t great at comforting others so she gets passed off to Atticus/Nemona respectively, meanwhile Eri and Clavell are near naturals (Clavell has had to comfort many a nervous student/Arven).

You’ve summoned me and my multitude of Penny headcanons which means I can get hurt/comfort-y

Penny is someone who learned to take a lot, but when she breaks, she breaks. It’ll go from a blank stare to tears for the next 45 minutes, not wanting a single person to see this.

Team Star + Zero crew and Clavell have begun to notice the little queues when she’s about to break, making sure she’s got a shoulder to cry on, or a warm hug until the tears run out. Poor girl is very unused to it all, but Team Star is nothing but persistent haha

The little moments when Penny begins to withdraw and someone like Atticus or Eri reaching out to squeeze her shoulder and make sure she’s not gonna go through the tears alone. They’ve watched their fellow bosses crack and shatter before, Penny is no different. The least they can do is offer a warm embrace.

It’s that or Clavell/ Arven and Nemona realizing she’s about to dip and keeping close by to ask if she’s okay. This leads to just as many tears, but she’s got two new friends and a kindly director to keep her company.
