You know seeing last years content like weverse lives , karmy comments etc, BB about recording songs & thinking about JK's personality, I don't think Jk like to spend time in hybe building other than official work 🤭🤭 I think he records most of the songs at his own recording studio at his home. I believe that Jk doesn't like Hybe's comporate environment🤭 to inspire his musical creativity so home is the best place to do that. Same with Tae , I think that's why he went to Jk's house to record the song.

You know, I've thought the same thing before.

Disclaimer: I'm still baby army. This is just my reading, my opinion and my take as a little army. Please challenge it in the comments if you feel like I'm misguided here.

When I first started reading blogs and twitter last year, there were lots of JK-antis accusing him of being Bang PDs fave, getting preferential treatment, etc.

It didn't take long to realise that criticism feels more like just a twisting of the Golden Maknae idea which in my opinion is a character for convenience that doesn't allow for being imperfect complicated humans. (I can ramble further about how those easy archetypes contribute to toxic fan environments but that's off topic.)

So I don't really see that he gets preferential treatment at all. His career goals and music style are highly marketable so maybe it gives that impression? Tangentially, I don't like how "preferential treatment" discredits how hard he works or how talented he is.

With that in mind, it occurs to me JK's relationship with The Company is no more close than anyone else and could be quite complex. It is all he's ever known from a very tender formative age which could contribute to a little more reticence to be Tae levels of honest about it... but you can tell how much JK has matured by how he thinks now, how he's finding autonomy and finding his voice to defend himself in ways that might not be a PR manager's dream. He's clear he wants his life to be his own.

The more I learn about him, and how he and Tae were considering not re-signing, it makes me wonder if the sheen came off the company a bit. As it would as the pressure piled on, as their hot air balloon went into the stratosphere.

All this said, I don't think there's a big JK hates the company conspiracy. Maybe he's weary of the trappings of it. Naturally it's probably always going to represent the bits of his life he has no control over and it only makes sense that he'd be happier in private spaces. Is that just getting older? Is that what we all feel about our workspace?

I identify strongly with a guy who'd rather be at home, to be honest 😂

Today I'm thinking about Permission to Dance Jungkook, owner of the finest Goth Horse Ranch in the world, the only place where you can tame a stallion by day and then attend a twilight screening of Edward Scissorhands.

Let me tell you: when I first saw this outfit I literally gasped with joy. Sexuality doesn't have an outfit but campness does and that's the campest thing I've ever seen. Especially with the hat! 😍😍😍 I am passionate about it, friends.

I always see tkkrs talk about the members reactions to taekook but wouldn’t some people consider these reactions they had to jimin and Jungkook “sus” too?

Sure. Yeah. Some people might. Though to me they look more amused/fond.

There's always the possibility that nobody's reaction means anything but to my eyes, there's often a wariness or nervousness to their reaction to Taekook that isn't there in that video of Jimin and JK. In fact I've just been watching a Members Reacting to Taekook and comparing to a Members Reacting to Jikook video and the other members will often smile at Jimin and JK or draw attention to them with a big laugh or get involved with their shenanigans but they're less likely to do that to Taekook.

(I will say that Yoongi doesn't seem to give Taekook the nervous looks or nervous laughter but funnily enough, he looks more reticent about Jikook interactions? What does it all mean?!)

It's all perception though. My perception is that generally the other members aren't nervous about Jikook the way they are about Taekook. Yours might differ :) that's ok.

honestly my tkk roman empire is the matching sweethearts tshirts. like that shit rlly solidified it for me and idk why ppl don’t seem to think it’s THAT big of a deal. like to me thats one of the few occurrences where it’s essentially undeniable. for someone to say that it’s a coincidence is absolutely ridiculous bc conveniently the exact same shirt on the same day AND it’s not just any shirt it’s literally a “sweethearts” shirt worn while they’re apart but at the same time. AND jk wore it w his celine lock necklace. like rlly ??? every time i doubt tkk and have one of my many “but what if they’re not” moments i think about those blatantly matching sweethearts tshirts and im like nahhhh that’s not a coincidence and friends DONT do that shit

I went to try find my timezone theory but Tumblr isn't showing me my post.

So Jungkook's call time on his call sheet was 6:30am on 18th June for make up, hair and dressing.

Filming didn't begin until 8am.

With a 16 hour time difference, that makes it 10:30pm to about midnight in Seoul, long after Tae had left the house in his kappa tee. So this definitely isn't JK just showing him what the stylist picked out for him, and Tae making a funny decision to wear the same, because there was no time for that.

Potential explanation: JK was in LA a few days prior to filming that scene. Could have been fittings that he sent pictures of, and Tae was like oh that's weird, I have that t-shirt! Wouldn't it be funny... But that's still planned intent.

My thinking is that they either spoke earlier in Tae's Sunday (on the Saturday in LA) and hatched the plan. Or even before JK flew. It's not unusual for the talent to bring pieces they want to include in their outfits. Even the Celine padlock adds an extra layer of interest for me. Sweetheart, locks are a symbol of love, JK was due to go to the concert with Tae... It's all quite interesting.

But the timezone thing rules out a spur of the moment silly idea. It all feels planned and intentional. They both have ten years Army experience - they know we don't miss a thing. They must have known the connection would be made.

jkkrs are so bitter and annoying, their ship had plenty of "moments" that night why are they coming to ruin a tkk moment. they are claiming that its a jkk moment bc jk was touching his thighs, well he was looking at tae when he was singing so what does that say then?

Theres a few things I find weird about it.

The clip of JK slapping Jimin's thigh was a different one to the one where Tae closed his eyes. So us enjoying that moment really takes nothing away from their moment anyway? Or do we have to assign that entire evening a JKK only zone?

Quick, let's put a Taekook flag in the entirety of PTD on stage. JK sat in Tae's lap so the "bridal carry" never happened. Sure, makes sense. We've claimed it now though. Back off. 🙄

Also I'm a Taekook blog but my comment on it was not even about them being a couple. It was me appreciating my bias boys sweetly enjoying a song. I'm sorry that their confidence is so easily shaken by *checks notes* Tae being in the same frame???

Frankly, I feel like "stealing jkk moments" is such a weird thing to say. Who is counting moments like poker chips? If you're confident, you don't need to keep score.

ANYWAY. I still love that moment where Tae closes his eyes. I love how much those two love their ballads. 🥹
