you taste sweet
albedo x reader
cw: n/a
synopsis: baking w/ albedo [drabble]
Tumblr media
His gaze followed you as you moved about the kitchen, eyes scanning over ingredients and illegible measurements as you struggled to remember what needed to go where. Albedo was not a particularly jealous individual— there was not much room for envy in his synthetic heart when his love for you had already laid its claim— but with the way you had your attention fixed solely on kneading and rolling the dough until it was just the right texture at just the right thickness, had him feeling a little green.
Just what is this feeling? he pondered. This longing for you despite already being so close sent his mind reeling with questions and untested hypotheses. Is there a chance you might feel the same way? Would now be an acceptable moment to conduct an experiment?
While swarming thoughts occupied his mind, his hand quickly neglected the task of holding the electric mixer steady, causing some of the partially-mixed frosting to splatter onto his face. You jumped at the clang of the mixer suddenly hitting the metal bowl, causing Albedo to immediately shut it off.
The expression he wore was dumbfounded, as if he had just awoken from a trance. You laughed at the perplexed alchemist before leaning in to lick a glob of sweet, buttercream frosting off of the tip of his nose, making his face bloom pink.
“Tastes good, but you might mix that a little longer, don’t you think?”

baby, it's cold outside
synopsis: the weather's gotten chilly again, but lucky for you, your s/o's got you covered
characters: thoma, diluc, childe, albedo
fluff/cold weather comfort drabbles
cw: sfw, brief depictions of food, use of petnames (baby, sweetheart)
a/n: i'm posting again at last (-u-)
Tumblr media
thoma
the chill of the early evening air began seeping its way through your clothes and into your skin as the sun gradually sunk below the horizon, disappearing from view. goosebumps rose and prickled the inside of your sweater, even as you held your arms closer to your body in an effort to keep warm. "hey, are you sure you'll be okay?" thoma glanced at you worriedly, noticing your discomfort. "if it's too cold, we can always head back and i can fix something up." you smiled and reached out to give his hand a reassuring squeeze. "i should be fine for now. food would be nice though." thoma's eyes lit up almost immediately. "then i know just the place!" you weren't entirely sure what you were expecting when thoma brought you up to a local street vendor, but you couldn't deny the way your mouth watered at the sight and smells of all those delectable, warm goods. after paying for and accepting the steaming bag of tasty treats, thoma pulled you close and began running his hands up and down the sides of your arms in an attempt to preserve some of your body heat. "geez, you're freezing. come here, let's get you to an onsen; that'll warm you up!"
diluc
were winters in mondstadt always this formidable? you had just wrapped up a grueling day of commissions, and even with all that fighting and running about, the chill that had entered your bones had not left since. perhaps it had been a mistake to accept the task of running emergency supplies up to dragonspine this late in the season. you were very fortunate to arrive at angel's share just as your teeth had begun to chatter. although you were still shaking, the warm atmosphere of the tavern was much preferable to the bitter wind that nipped at your cheeks outside. would charles be working tonight's shift or-- ah, nevermind, there's diluc. you almost laughed at the sight of him immediately perking up when he noticed your presence. his expression was the same, but there was a hint of relief behind those deep, ruby eyes. before you could give your lover a proper greeting, he was already grabbing his coat from its rack and draping it over your shoulders. removing his gloves, diluc's warm, calloused hands came up to cup your face, soothing the frozen numbness in your cheeks. "so cold..." he mused, hands falling to your shoulders. "let's get you seated over there by the fire. would you like some hot apple cider?"
childe
"aw, is it too cold out here for you, baby?" childe laughs at your stiff form as you stand huddled and shivering in almost two feet of freshly fallen snow. who's idea was this again? oh right, it was childe's. in fact, the whole reason you were out here, fighting for your life in the middle of snezhnayan winter was because your partner insisted that you come and spend the holidays with him and his family. now you were standing outside in the bitter cold building snow people with childe and a few of his younger siblings. how very unfortunate it seemed that you didn't bring enough layers. you sent childe a dirty look as he approached you, only broadening his smile further. "come now, i know you're not used to it, but it can't be that bad," he said as he removed his gloves from each of his hands and wrapped them around your own. warmth spread through your body as childe began rubbing your hands together with his own and thawing your frozen fingertips with his breath. "there, that should do it," he placed a kiss to your knuckles, causing a few of the younger children to grimace in disgust, which only served to make childe laugh. "when we get back, i'll make everybody a warm pot of goulash; how does that sound? come on, i'll race you!"
albedo
it's for science, you told yourself. yes, that's why we're standing here at the peak of vindagynr freezing our asses off--for science, of course. well, you were freezing but albedo seemed almost completely indifferent to the cold, smiling and humming away as he collected the necessary samples for his next experiment. as you were observing him, while also silently cursing him for not telling you about this trip sooner, albedo suddenly sprung up, nearly scaring you out of your wits. "let's get these back to the lab as quickly as possible. we'll need to get the ingredients processed before we can continue," he stated flatly, giving you the incentive to follow him. during moments like these when he was so caught up in his work, albedo tended to be a little neglectful, but as soon as the samples were taken care of, he immediately noticed you shivering, causing his brow to furrow in concern. "what's the matter? are you cold? wait here, i'll get you something." as you settled yourself down next to the fire, albedo quickly returned moments later with several fleece blankets and a warming bottle. setting the potion down on the table, he began securing layer after layer of fleece around your frame until you were perfectly bundled up and practically unable to move any part of your body. albedo then took the warming bottle he set aside and popped open the lid before bringing it up to your lips as his other hand moved to tilt to chin. "drink." you obeyed, swallowing as he wiped some of the excess from your lips. "there we go. i apologize for not noticing your discomfort sooner, sweetheart," he placed a soft kiss to your temple. "these samples should be ready soon, then we can head home and get you properly warmed up."

his drink of choice
a little late for halloween, but still wanted to spread the vampire! diluc agenda :)
vampire! diluc x reader [gender neutral]
cw: possessive themes, brief mention of fainting from intoxication, stalker-ish behavior, a lil spicy
Tumblr media
count diluc was a very private, elusive man, so it was rare to ever encounter him in public, especially with the reputation he held
usually, he'd prefer to remain sheltered in his manor while rumors and speculation crafted his image for him, leaving him to get on with his business in attending to mondstadt and its economy
he had few outside relations with anyone other than his business partners and occasionally the Knights of Favonius, though he would be too proud to admit to that
some folks claimed to have seen him wandering around at night, though not enough people actually knew what he looked like and were therefore unable to testify, and those who did know him were sworn to secrecy
his flaming red hair and vermillion eyes served to make him a spectacle regardless of his status, much to his own displeasure
in order to keep people from thinking of the count as some grumpy, stingy old man with a stick up his butt, diluc periodically held social events to maintain good graces with the public
the most prominent of these was the masquerade ball that the Dawn Winery hosted annually for three consecutive nights during the middle of harvest season
guests from all across the nation flocked adorned in varieties of colorful masks and plumage, like male peacocks during mating season
wine, of course, was served and each bottle was held at a discount price, attracting both wine enthusiasts and alcoholics alike kaeya and venti
with everyone dressed in such extravagant attire, it was easy for master diluc to conceal his identity, while still participating in the nightly activities
still, as a precaution, he had his staff speak to and welcome the guests on his behalf while he spent time wandering and mingling with the crowd, being careful not to expose his true name to anyone
as he was more concerned about managing his business affairs, count diluc never expected to find himself enamored with any of his guests
until he met you
he was too preoccupied to notice you at first, but when he found you, trying to serve yourself a helping of food that was just a little too far out of your reach, the gentleman in him couldn't deny the urge to serve you himself
when you turned to thank him, a sheepish smile adorning your face and eyes brimming with gratitude, diluc couldn't help but swoon for you
for the rest of that first night, the count was unable to rid you from his thoughts
although he desperately wanted to ask you to dance, his nerves got the better of him, and when he finally did muster up the courage, his meddling brother had already gone and swept you off of your feet himself :(
feeling defeated, our young master diluc gave up on his attempts to court you
that didn't stop him from wondering about you, however
despite rarely showing his face in public, diluc had connections everywhere, meaning he could gain almost any amount of intel whenever he so pleased
so naturally, he asked his men to keep tabs on you
only because he couldn't have anything bad happening to such a supportive patron, of course not because he was head over heels or anything
through charles, he discovered that you were a frequent visitor to Angel's Share, so should anything ever happen to you while you were intoxicated, diluc instructed him to bring you to his home so he could watch over you
well lo and behold, you pass out drunk one night
as fate would have it, you reawoke in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar location, which just so happened to be one of the guest chambers of master diluc's grand estate
feeling disoriented, you groggily stood up, lit the candlestick by your bedside and wandered aimlessly down one of the many long, dark hallways until you reached the slightly ajar door of his study
classical music was playing from a gramophone as diluc studied document after document, eyes growing weary from the dim lighting
as a creature of the night, the count had no problem staying up this late, but fatigue was beginning to overtake him the longer he went without any...refreshments
fortunately, he was struck with your sweet scent just in time
"come in," he beckoned just before you could knock at the door, nearly scaring you out of your wits
when you entered, you found diluc sitting reclined at his desk, pouring himself a glass of a deep red wine
"ah, there you are. how are you feeling?" he asked, leaving you no time to respond before remembering that he needed to introduce himself
"i'm count diluc ragnvindr, the owner of this estate and head of the winery business here in mondstadt," he began. "although i do hope you'll keep my identity a secret for the sake of privacy"
after exchanging introductions, you found the next twenty or so minutes spent conversing with this charming stranger to be quite enjoyable
diluc also took it upon himself to finally ask you to dance with him, explaining how he had originally intended to several nights prior but was "unable to find the right opportunity to ask"
you let him lead you into an elegant slow dance, relishing in the moment of feeling so intimate with the handsome count before a certain question popped up in your mind
"you want to know what's in my glass? it's...grape juice. my drink of choice."
you couldn't help but smile at the peculiarity of his response
"what? is there something you find amusing about what i just shared with you?" he smiled in jest
you shook your head, explaining the irony in the winery owner's distaste for alcohol
"ah yes, well, you see, what i find to be intoxicating isn't exactly something most people would find delectable"
you asked him what he meant by that, to which he merely smiled before leaning in, allowing his lips to gently graze the shell of your ear
"i am referring to blood, my dear"
his grip tightened possessively around your waist
"your blood, preferably"
an open mouthed kiss was pressed to the side of your neck before you felt his teeth gently nip at your skin
"now won't you let me have a taste?”

If requests are still open, can I have some comfort with Kaeya and an S/O who often does tasks by themselves and self blames a lot. Thinking that they could have done better, or if they were only a bit quicker, a bit smarter, more capable, they could have helped or even solved the whole problem. They feel useless and helpless. Uh, if this is uncomfortable to you, feel free to ignore or delete. Thank you for your time!
strength
kaeya x reader [gender neutral]
synopsis: reader takes on an arduous task and insists on going alone, fortunately kaeya is there to help
hurt/comfort
cw: descriptions of injury & violence, fainting, negative self talk, minor cursing
“Are you sure about going alone? I’d be happy to offer—”
“ —thank you, but there's really no need. I’ll be just fine on my own.”
Your eyes briefly scanned the room, making subtle eye contact with a certain Cavalry Captain, before quickly refocusing on Jean’s uncertain expression as she fiddled with something in her hands. There was a long, uneasy pause before she spoke again.
“If that is your wish, then I will not stop you; all I ask is that you please take necessary precaution as the Fatui are not ones to be underestimated.”
“Of course,” you smiled reassuringly. “I will have the information back here before you know it.”
Quickly you excused yourself, hastily pushing past the door of Jean’s office without sparing a second glance. I won’t make the same mistake as last time, you told yourself.
This time I won’t fail.
No, you were fortunate enough to even be offered a second chance to prove your capabilities. You weren’t going to screw this up. You won’t have to see those disappointed faces again— you wouldn’t be able to bear it. A sudden click as the door swung open behind you startled you out of your thoughts. Your pace quickened, only to be followed by another pair of footsteps that echoed across the hall, only these ones were in no such rush. It was already apparent who was behind you.
“Leaving so soon?”
The Cavalry Captain made no attempt to hide the mirth in his tone, as was his typical nature. It took you some time to become well-acquainted enough with him to learn that it was all a facade, that the mask he wore was just for show. You had developed quite the unusual relationship with Kaeya, the ever-flirtatious, part-time knight and part-time wine-enthusiast. You both held obvious affections for each other, but it was never really clear where you stood with him. He was already a difficult person to read, and the lines between platonic and romantic were blurred beyond comprehension. You wondered if even he knew just how he felt about you.
The footfalls drew nearer as you stood stock-still, silently hoping that he would be lenient this time and let you leave without deterring you from your mission. He chuckled as you melodramatically sighed before turning around to greet him.
“Did you honestly think you could leave without saying goodbye?”
Kaeya approached you with languid movements, arms crossed as he studied you with a dazzling smile and a playful glint in his eye.
“Sorry, I’ve got places to be. I’m kind of a busy person, you know,” you replied teasingly.
“Are you now? Then I suppose I shan’t keep you too long.” He continued to make his way toward you, stopping only when you were separated by about arm’s length.
“I appreciate it, but I really should get going soon…”
“Oh? What’s the rush? We’ve got all day, don’t we?” Kaeya idly reached out, taking your hand into his own.
“I know, but I promised I would return as soon as possible.”
“Hm, you better… Say, mind if I tag along? My work’s been feeling far too bland lately.”
You smiled as you squeezed his fingers. “Normally, I wouldn’t, but this is something I’d rather handle myself.” Your eyes fell to the tiled floor beneath your feet.
You watched in the reflection as Kaeya took a small step forward, further enclosing you within his space. His familiar scent was already clouding your senses, his face only a few inches away from yours. Fingers still entwined, he used his free hand to tilt your gaze upward to meet his.
“And why is that?” His voice was soft and low as it filled his chest. You could almost feel the vibrations from the words he spoke, creating a tension so thick it could’ve been cut through with a knife.
“I— I just… ,” shakily you inhaled, “want to challenge myself.”
That was a lie; you both knew it. But Kaeya said nothing about it, only nodding in understanding before returning a measly portion of your personal space, just enough so you could breathe normally again.
“I wish you the best of luck, then,” he smiled. Before you could pull away, he once again caught your chin between his thumb and forefinger. The playfulness in his expression suddenly dropped as he spoke to you with unusual seriousness. “But please, do be careful out there,” his lips gently brushed over your cheek. “I don’t know what I’d do if something happened to you.”
He kissed your cheek tenderly, surprising you with his sudden sincerity.
“Well I don’t plan on anything going wrong this time around,” you fixed him with the same reassuring smile you gave Jean earlier, but it didn’t seem to have the same effect with Kaeya. He seemed to be able to see straight through you.
“Just promise that you’ll come back to me in one piece, alright?”
You had little issues in dealing with the first two to three skirmishers, but the increasing waves of reinforcements were quickly wearing you down. There was also no clear indication of where the Fatui research was located, but you were far too invested to retreat now. This was your mission, and you were going to see it through until the end.
Your drive and determination could only get you so far, however. The harder you fought, the greater toll it took on your body, and no matter how much of your strength and energy you spent to get ahead, it only left you falling farther behind. Your blows barely made a scratch, yet a single hit from one of your opponents nearly had you keeling over. All of your efforts seemed to be in vain.
Knowing this, what was it that kept you pushing forward, fighting against logic and instinct? What was it that had you withstanding hit after hit, gritting your teeth to subdue the pain? Was it pride? Ego, perhaps? Maybe it had something to do with your perfectionism and the unrealistically high standards you expected of yourself, or the amount of self-worth you attributed to your achievements. Maybe it was out of fear of what other people might think, considering your past failures and discouraging results.
Or perhaps it was because you’d be breaking a promise if you stopped now, the promise you made to Jean, who had looked so relieved when you offered her your services. You couldn’t fail her, or the knights. They were all counting on you to pull through with this.
That was your intention anyway, to pull through. However you weren’t anticipating one particularly hard blow to the abdomen to almost completely take you out, sending your body skidding across a floor of rocks and dirt and debris. The air was ejected from your lungs, yet they no longer seemed to be responding to your desperate pleas to inhale.
Corners of your vision were starting to become tinged with black. You were left gasping and clutching your midsection as the Fatui stalked towards you, towering over your helpless figure like lions hunting gazelle. It was difficult to gauge anything that was happening around you, but even in your semi-conscious state you were able to identify another commotion that had broken out, simply by the sounds of people shouting and the diverted attention of your captors. You were unable to distinguish much more than that, unfortunately. The last thing that your senses caught onto was a sudden chill, before you became fully submerged into the depths of your subconscious.
Ringing and static gradually evolved into hushed murmurs as life began to return to your body. Warm candlelight trickled in through your eyelids, but soothing voices quickly coaxed you back into a deep slumber before they could fully open.
Everything had become dark again, and the static returned. Like the light of the candle, the voices were extinguished, leaving you in the still and sudden emptiness that had enveloped you before.
Dawn’s rays seeped in through stained glass, projecting a mosaic of light and color onto the different surfaces of the cathedral. As your eyes took time to adjust to the sudden brightness of awakening, the rest of your senses began returning to you as well.
It took a moment for the pain to reach you, but when it did it was not pleasant. Your hand instinctively moved to cover your abdomen, when you felt the fabric of several layers of bandages that encompassed your waist. How did I get here?
Less than an hour passed before you were able to fully regain your awareness and reorientate yourself out of the hazy state of confusion that you were in. As you began to sit up, you were hit by a sudden wave of nausea before you noticed just how dry your mouth felt. As if the Archons had answered your prayers, a glass of water appeared on the bedside table next to you, which you began quickly gulping down to ease your parched throat.
Looking around, you realized that the cathedral had been vacated and that the sun had just seemed to have risen. It was at this instant that your memories began to flood back to you— the fighting, the pain, the unfinished goal…
A fresh set of clothes had been placed and neatly folded alongside the glass of water, giving you the incentive to change before hurrying out of the building before it was too late to finish your task. Suppressing the lingering dizziness and nausea, you pushed through the front doors, heart hammering in your chest with fear and urgency.
“And just where do you think you’re going?”
You jumped. Leaning against the side of the cathedral was Captain Kaeya, who threw you a disapproving look upon seeing your obvious intentions.
“Shit, Kaeya, you scared me!” you hissed.
The knight sighed before pushing himself off the wall and moving closer to feel the temperature of your forehead, his face twisting into one of concern.
“How are you feeling?” His voice was gentle and his hands were cold to the touch. It felt comforting to be doted on like this, but it strangely did nothing to calm your racing heart.
You blinked at him. “I— uh… fine.”
Kaeya raised an eyebrow in response.
“Are you?”
“Huh? Well, yeah I think so, but I’m not really sure what…” The rest of your sentence dissolved in your mouth as you found yourself transfixed by the feeling of Kaeya’s knuckles tracing the side of your jaw.
“Go on…”
“Ah, right,” you cleared your throat. “My memory is a little foggy, so I’m not really sure what happened right before I passed out.”
“I see,” he nodded. “Then I trust you don’t recall when I came to save you from your little endeavor?”
You frowned, shaking your head. “No, I don’t… How did you know I was there?”
“Ah yes, that, well…” he chuckled nervously. Was that a tiny blush on his cheeks? “I thought I’d check in on you, since I wasn’t all that convinced that you’d be able to handle that many skirmishers all on your lonesome.”
That came out wrong.
You scoffed. “Well, clearly you were right. I obviously needed to do better.”
A frown formed on the Cavalry Captain’s face. “(Y/N), that’s not what I—”
“I know that’s not what you meant, Kaeya, I just—” you let out a frustrated sigh at the tears that began to well up in your eyes. “No matter what I do, I always seem to manage to screw things up, and now that information is lost and it’s my fault,” your voice wavered. “It makes me feel useless, like I can’t do anything right! I try so hard all the time, but it’s never good enough,” you sniffled.
“Am I not good enough?”
Your words hung fragile, as if the truth behind them would shatter you into a million pieces. Broken sobs escaped you now, tears running freely down your face as they carried the raw emotions that had been suppressed for far too long.
Kaeya swiftly took you into his arms, holding you securely while gently stroking the back of your head. Watching the hurt and despair take hold of someone so precious to him struck a painful chord in his heart. The overwhelming urge to pull you close and to protect you from all that may do you harm burned intensely in his pounding chest.
You stayed like that for a while— arms wrapped tightly around each other, gently swaying back and forth as Kaeya comforted you with soothing words and the warm feeling of his presence. As your sobs began to quiet down, he gently pulled back in order to look at you properly. The soft smile and the tenderness in his gaze nearly caused a new wave of tears to envelope you before you could hold back.
Suddenly, Kaeya took your face into both of his hands, eyes brimming with intensity.
“I want you to repeat after me, okay? Do you think you can do that for me?”
You nodded.
“‘I am strong, I am capable…’”
You took a deep breath. “I am strong, I am capable…”
“‘I am courageous and awe-inspiring’”
“I am courageous and awe-inspiring.”
“‘I am beautiful and intelligent’”
You felt your face grow warm at his compliment. “I— I am beautiful and intelligent..”
“‘I am empowered by those around me’”
“I am empowered by those around me.”
“‘And I don’t take crap from anyone’”
“And I don’t take crap from anyone,” you giggled. There was that smile he loved to see.
Kaeya returned your gesture with a dashing grin of his own.
“See? That wasn’t so hard, was it?”
Your smile widened as you shook your head in his hands.
“(Y/N)... I want you to know just how proud I am of you and amazed by the amount of time and dedication you put into everything that you do, but I think you’re a little too hard on yourself. You are not weak, neither are you useless. In fact, you’re one of the strongest people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I’ve met few people who would willingly put themselves into dangerous situations like that, and even fewer people who would continue to fight regardless of how many times they’ve been knocked down.
“But you are wrong in thinking that things that happened outside of your control are a reflection of your capabilities, and although I admire your independence, I think you are blinded by the idea that you must go through everything alone, and that you are always the person responsible. You take accountability, but you also blame yourself for things that are not yours to take the blame for.
“I want you to know that you are never alone, and that I— we— will continue to support and fight by your side for however long it is necessary. Relying on others does not make you weak, it means you are allowing others to help build you up, to become the best version of yourself that you can be. And if you would allow me to, I’d like to be that person for you.
“You inspire me each and every day, and each and every day I am reminded of how much I love you, and how much I want to hold you and kiss you and tell you every little thing about you that I adore so much. It hurts me to see you like this.”
He paused looking into your eyes to gauge your reaction, silently asking for approval to continue.
“I love you so much that it hurts, (Y/N)”
You were frozen, unable to focus on anything other than the pulse thrumming in your ears and the closeness of Kaeya’s face. When he finally leaned in to kiss you, your heart soared, his lips reminding you again and again how much you truly meant to him, and how he longed to remain by your side.

Heyyyyyy! I can’t express how much I love your writing honestly and I really want to request something if your still taking them. Could you do a Zhongli x reader? Zhongli takes reader on a date to propose to them and could you include the wedding too if that’s too much to ask? I would really appreciate it :)❤️❤️
thank you so much! and sorry this took so long omg
devout
zhongli x reader [gender neutral]
synopsis: zhongli takes you on a proposal-date and sweeps you of ur mfkn feet <3
cw: slightly suggestive towards the end, mentions of a [food] coma, i'm a sap
The light of the morning sun shone brightly, yet the air was brisk as it nipped at your cheeks. The crisp smell of sea air wafted in from the docks, while the rhythmic chime of ship’s bells echoed off the walls of buildings, indicating that sailors had risen to greet the day and the unruly tide that awaited them.
Your hand was pocketed with his, keeping your grip warm and secure as you walked closely together through the awakening streets of Liyue. At the brink of dawn, your lover began persistently nudging you awake, peppering your face in sweet kisses while promising you with an even sweeter meal as a form of bargain. How lucky he was that it appeared to have worked.
Mornings like this weren’t totally uncommon with Zhongli, however this seemingly newfound fervor for planning a whole day trip like this was a little out of the ordinary. When you asked him what the occasion was— out of slight concern that you might’ve forgotten it— he denied that there ever was one; he simply wanted to express his “love and adoration through a little quality time together.”
Before you could press any further, something had caught your lover’s attention, as you were suddenly being ushered in another direction. He escorted you to sit at one of the tables at the Wanmin Restaurant and, once you were settled, excused himself to order food, planting a quick peck to your cheek in the process. Looking around you noticed that the area wasn’t too crowded at this time of day; there was a certain peacefulness that had settled over the atmosphere that contrasted heavily with the normally bustling streets of the harbor. Perhaps that was what he intended by waking you up so damn early.
Breakfast was delicious, as promised. It also served to ease some of the bitterness you felt towards being jostled awake at the crack of dawn. Zhongli didn’t hold back, either. Anything and everything that you might like was placed on the table in front of you, and you weren’t sure how he was able to afford it, nor if you’d manage to finish it all without going into a coma.
On top of all that, your lover seemed to have brought his own food from home, though it was neatly wrapped and sat underneath the small table. Again, when you asked him about it— not having ever recalled him making it— his reply was as vague as ever; “oh it’s just a little something for later.”
After boxing all the leftovers from the meal that Chef Mao so kindly put together despite the large request, Zhongli offered to take you to visit Dihua Marsh to show you a few of his favorite sights, and maybe even enlighten you with some of the history as well.
There was something so enchanting about the way he spoke; his deep, honeyed voice coating over his words as he recounted tales of his many years of living. He exuded the calm and sophisticated aura of a scholar, which he practically was whether or not he chose to admit it, yet his occasional naivety and silliness were equally charming qualities of his.
You failed to realize how quickly you were drowning in his presence until he directed a question at you, which you had to embarrassingly ask him to repeat. Fortunately, Zhongli wasn’t irritated that you hadn’t been paying attention, in fact he found the dumbfounded expression you wore to be quite endearing.
“I said,” he began as he reached out, gently lifting your chin with his thumb and forefinger while tucking a few stray hairs and a glaze lily that he must’ve picked earlier, gently behind your ear.
He then leaned in, arms snaking around and pulling you towards him by the waist as his breath danced along the side of your neck, lips ghosting over your skin.
“...would you allow me to take you to see a few ruins with me? There is still so much that I wish to show you…”
A sudden tingle shot down your spine as Zhongli’s lips moved to decorate your neck in soft, delicate kisses that seemed to leave a burning imprint in their wake, leaving you slightly flushed. It was truly astonishing how easily he could leave you breathless, even with such little strenuous activity. His affectionate demeanor was slightly peculiar, too, but you were hardly in the position to complain about it.
“Then show me,” you replied, managing to tame the swarm of butterflies that had almost completely consumed you.
Letting out a deep chuckle, Zhongli withdrew his kisses while his hand moved to cup your cheek. He hummed in satisfaction, admiring you with his glowing amber gaze for a moment before speaking.
“Gladly.”
That afternoon was spent with Zhongli as your tour guide as you traversed the various decaying stone structures throughout the Guili Plains, Luhua Pool, and finally, Jueyun Karst, where Zhongli recalled some of his early memories of the adepti with a fond smile adorning his face. You quickly discovered him to be quite the archaeological expert, not that you ever doubted it of course, but he seemed to have quite the knack for uncovering intricate little mechanisms that had been hidden away and preserved in stone over the course of the last few millennia.
He was also very adamant about showing you many of Liyue’s great sights, and was not afraid to express this by taking you to every available vantage point, regardless of how far or out-of-reach it seemed. Even if you claimed to be exhausted, Zhongli would simply carry you the rest of the way because you were going to see this view. And what a view it was. From up high it was easy to take in almost the entirety of Liyue in all of its golden splendor, which was the original intention in bringing you here. This was something that he spent years constructing and cultivating, something he took great pride in and fought hard to protect. It was his world, and you were his crowned jewel.
As the sun was beginning to set, Zhongli escorted you back to the harbor before excusing himself to quickly go and “check something,” sending you off once again with a sweet kiss, and asking you to meet him at the peak of Mt. Tianheng in about twenty or so minutes. You smiled to yourself as you waved goodbye, curious as to what he had in mind and slightly amused by his frantic behavior. You thought back to your earlier denied inquiries regarding what was so special about today.
Perhaps now you would get some answers.
When you arrived at the rendezvous point, well, least to say you were taken aback. Laid out before you was a spread of a variety of your favorite foods, including desserts and a tea set, accompanied by an array of flickering candles that illuminated the small picnic blanket as well as the single glaze lily that grew nearby. Just past it stood the man that you had fallen in love with, his back turned as he watched the sun sink beneath the clouds.
“What’s all this?”
Immediately you caught his attention.
“Ah, there you are, my dear,” he said, turning slightly to face you. “Come here. I have something I’ve been meaning to show you.”
He extended his hand out towards you, a gesture for you to stand beside him. You approached him hesitantly in an attempt to not disturb the lovely display he had assembled for you, while letting his arm gently drape itself across your shoulders.
Your breath caught in your throat. By the Archons, the view was stunning. Sure, you had been sight-seeing all day and this could hardly be any different from the last dozen places you trekked to watch the skyline, but there was something about the way in which the glowing aura of the evening sky reflected off of Liyue and the twinkling sea of its harbor that left you in completely awestruck.
Had you not been quite as transfixed as you were in that moment, perhaps you would’ve caught sight of the distant, far-away look in your lover's eyes. Maybe you would have noticed the way he was fidgeting slightly, or the way his eyes were no longer trained on the view, but on something far more radiant.
“It’s beautiful,” you said, snapping him out of his trance.
Zhongli smiled, enjoying watching the awe and wonder twinkle in your irises.
“Indeed it is.”
You felt his arm lift away from your shoulders.
“But I think I have found something far more precious.”
You felt his hand slip into yours.
“Oh really? And what’s tha—”
When you turned, Zhongli, Rex Lapis, the former Geo Archon, was kneeling before you, regarding you with such an adoring gaze as if you were the deity to be revered, answering your question without needing to utter a single syllable: ‘You’
“(Y/N),” he began, giving your hands a light squeeze. “There is much I’ve been meaning to say to you, but I fear that I have such little time,” he sighed. “When I first gave up my gnosis, I found myself wandering aimlessly, unsure of my place in this world now that I was no longer Rex Lapis. I am now just a mortal man, with no duty to my people. It was a… foreign concept to me, at first. I wasn’t sure how to lead a carefree life, with a clear and resolute heart, until I met you.
“I never anticipated to meet someone quite like yourself, nor did I intend to fall in love as deeply as I have, but I hold no regrets. You have shown me true happiness, and for that I must thank you.”
Zhongli pressed a kiss to your knuckles as you felt your eyes begin to well up with tears.
“Each day spent with you is as valuable as gold to me. Our time together is boundless. I knew not my place in this world before, but I now realize that it has always been right here with you.”
He let out a shaky breath.
“(Y/N), my love, I cannot imagine a world without you in it, and I wish to form a new contract with you from here on out, so please…”
Reaching into his pocket, Zhongli produced a small, black box. Inside was a beautiful jade ring, crested and adorned with gold.
“...will you marry me?”
It was a warm summer’s night, and the moon rose full, its light ricocheting off of crystalline streams of water as they cascaded down the high cliffs which surrounded you. The air was humid, but somehow the combination of mist and the gentle night’s breeze made each inhale feel more rejuvenating than the last.
Fireflies were out tonight. They were dancing about you and your fiancé as you stood together side by side adorned in matching hanfu, rapidly beating hearts synchronizing to the same rhythm. It was a relatively quiet ceremony. There weren’t too many guests, and the venue was fairly secluded, making the process feel much more intimate.
After lighting the altar candles and paying respects, a tea ceremony was held, followed by the exchanging of vows. A few adepti were present, as well as some close friends and family members. Seldom did you release each other’s hand, regardless of what you were doing or who was looking. It provided a sense of security for the both of you, a silent reminder to one another that ‘yes, I’m still here, and yes, this is real.’
Although Zhongli is known for being a very composed gentleman, he still found it difficult to restrain himself from sweeping you off your feet and twirling you around while kissing you all over; he was overjoyed, though he was not the easiest person to read.
Instead of performing such an extravagant display of affection, Zhongli opted for a single, chaste kiss once you completed in saying your vows. It was extremely tempting to turn that one kiss into many, much more passionate kisses, but Zhongli was still quite aware of his audience, giving him reason to hold back.
After the wedding reception was held and you had just sent off the very last guest, your husband pulled you aside, albeit a little harsher than intended. You let out a small yelp as you collided with him, surprised by his sudden brazenness.
“You look divine,” he spoke softly, admiring you as you were bathed in moonlight.
A hand then moved to brush some of the hair away from your face, while his other remained gently clasped with yours. Soft lips moved to caress your forehead, and then your temples.
“I have been waiting for this moment for a long time,” he continued.
His lips then moved to your cheek, then jaw, lingering there for a moment while his hand cradled your face.
“Longer than you can imagine,” his voice was deep, sultry, and right in your ear.
He moved to repeat the same process on the other side of your face.
“So forgive me if I’m a little selfish tonight.”
He kissed the tip of your nose before moving his lips to hover over yours, warm breath mingling with your own.
“I must make up for the lost time, after all.”
Zhongli sealed his promise with a kiss that was deep and devouring, conveying all the emotions he had ever felt for you as well as one last, simple message:
'I am utterly and wholly devoted to you.'

terms of endearment ♡
prompt: terms of endearment/pet names i think some genshin characters would use
characters: kaeya, beidou, eula, albedo
fluff!
a/n: i will be working on requests shortly, so hang tight! just wanted to get this one out there <3
kaeya
sweetness, love, angel
frequently uses pet names; probably more often than your actual name, so be prepared
a huge tease; will often use these to get a rise out of you
might get a lil handsy with you in public which, if you've been dating long enough, is a stunt you're fairly used to
but he's not gonna let you ignore him, no, he will get a reaction out of you
this menace will lean in real close--and i mean real close--and seductively whisper in your ear, "you're blushing, love"
save yourself
once he's gets the reaction he wants, he'll go even further by lovingly poking fun at you, much to your embarrassment
might get even more handsy if he's feeling especially flirty, or he'll simply coo at you, saying something along the lines of, "look at my angel, getting all worked up for me"
and yes, you're his angel, and yes, he will remind you
as coy as he can be, kaeya also has his softer moments in which he is more tender and sincere, but he'll usually still carry hints of his flirtatious tone
when he notices you're a bit down, or is just looking for some extra affection, he'll sometimes beckon you into his arms by saying, "come over here, sweetness"
get comfortable; you won't be going anywhere for a while
beidou
gorgeous, baby, hun
she isn't quite as openly flirty as a certain someone, but she will use these as a way to express her affections
as captain, she does have the tendency to be away at sea for a while, so cute little reunions with her are fairly common
expect to be met with a bone-crushing hug and a, "archons, i missed you so much, baby" upon her arrival
she loves you very much, and will want to be around you as much as possible once she gets back
while she does usually have business to attend to with several merchants, nothing will stop her from actively seeking you out throughout the day
when she does find you, or if you decide to visit her, beidou's face will very visibly light up before pulling you close and greeting you with a kiss and a "there you are, gorgeous"
now, while she does have to leave your side often, there is always the occasional sea excursion in which you are fortunate enough to tag along
and because she cares about you very much, she will constantly be looking out for you even if she seems focused on something else
especially in poor weather conditions, she'll check up on you more frequently
she can be very doting when she wants to be, and is the type to say something like "be careful, hun, the deck is slippery" when she sees you emerge from below deck just after a rainstorm
god, she's just so smitten with you
eula
darling, sunshine, beloved
despite her serious demeanor and sometimes morbid sense of humor, eula uses very sweet nicknames for you
even as a lawrence who is only infiltrating the knights of favonius to enact vengeance, she does take her job very seriously, and will fight for you when and if it is necessary
but even if there is no immediate danger, eula will be constantly looking out for you regardless
she's subtle about it though, and may just use excuses like, "take my hand, darling. i can't have you getting lost now, can i?" to get closer to you
her reason being, that standing near her is safer than anywhere else and totally not just because she really likes holding your hand
she also has the tendency to wake up very early to get a head start on the day, but has no problem if you wish to sleep in
on work days, she's usually gone by the time you get up, but occasionally on her days off, she'll be waiting for you in the kitchen, usually fully dressed, before she gets up to greet you with a sweet kiss and a "good morning, sunshine. did you sleep alright?"
she's also willing to give you dance lessons, if you're open, and won't complain if you step on her toes a few times she actually finds it quite cute
and on nights when it's just the two of you, she might spontaneously ask you to dance with her, usually by offering you her hand and saying, "care to dance, beloved?"
she can be quite the romantic when it comes to you
albedo
honey, sweetheart, starlight
honestly is a total sweetheart himself, and he's not shy about it
you're often the subject of many of his artworks, so try not to freak out too much if you catch him staring at you intensely with a pencil in hand
he just wants to get your proportions right! that and he's totally enamored with you
albedo finds everything about you to be beautiful, and will constantly praise you for looking "absolutely ethereal" (his words)
even if all you've done was pose for him for about thirty minutes, a never-ending stream of praise and words of encouragement will continue to fall from his lips
once he's finished he'll sit back to look at his work, smile, get up, walk over to you, and hit you with a, "thank you, starlight. you always know how to inspire me" and a soft kiss to your cheek
enjoys having you with him to keep him company in his lab at the favonius headquarters, and will often ask for your insight or assistance
and don't be surprised if that request for assistance comes in the form of, "honey, have you seen my crucible?"
he also appreciates having you accompany him on research expeditions in dragonspine, but will become insistent that you bring the proper clothes and warming potions with you at all times
as passionate as he is about his studies, he will check in with you frequently to see how you're doing
will typically ask, "are you sure you aren't cold, sweetheart?" while waiting for a set of test results to come through
you will have to reassure him frequently that yes, you are fine, but if you show the slightest indication of being tired or cold, suddenly he's whipping out everything you could possibly need from his satchel and inspecting you like he would a test subject
he means well though, and will offer to hold you close if that is something you'd prefer
overall, albedo would probably be the most doting lover out of everyone on this list; there, i said it

of course! thank you for requesting this one; this topic really resonates with me as well as many others <3
doubt in the eyes of a god
[zhongli x reader]
synopsis: reader is battling insecurities while zhongli is there to remind them that they are loved
hurt/comfort
cw: slight angst, body insecurities
Moments like these were hard to endure; moments when your body didn’t feel like it belonged to you; moments when you almost didn’t recognize yourself in the mirror due to constantly wishing that what you saw wasn’t real. Confidence, when constructed properly, can be used as a shield or a repellent to keep negative thoughts at bay, but outward confidence does not always reflect inwards. Confidence takes time, energy, and strength to build up, and in instances when your energy feels like it’s depleting, so does that confidence.
Negative thoughts and feelings have the tendency to build up over time, if we allow them to seek residence in our mind and in our hearts. But sharing these very personal emotions is no easy feat; it requires a great amount of courage that we may not always have. Consequently, acts of vulnerability tend to happen unwillingly, because sometimes, enough is enough.
And it was certainly becoming enough for you.
The rain that evening was so heavy outside that it was almost impossible to pinpoint when the sun had previously set. Outside was cold and gloomy, while inside was warm and cozy, but it was hard to feel warm inside with a growing list of mundane tasks, paired with an inability to concentrate on anything other than the self-deprecating thoughts that currently plagued your mind.
The rainwater that was running off of the overhang of your back porch was mesmerizing to watch; it was almost soothing. Watching the consistent stream of water gave your mind something to focus on, allowing you to be present, while the loud sounds of the intense rainfall drowned out a few of those raging thoughts. However one particularly persistent thought prevailed:
Why do I look like that?
A tidal wave of mixed emotions had already begun to consume you as tears fell before you could stop them. Doubts and insecurities clawed at your chest as sobs wracked your body, making breathing almost difficult.
Suddenly, the front door clicked open as a partially soaked Zhongli hurriedly stepped inside to escape the weather. After hanging his coat and removing his shoes, he announced his arrival, calling your name once, then twice. Yet your mind was unable to register anything he had said.
Footsteps echoed down the hallway as Zhongli made his way towards you, causing panic to set in as your lover would see you like this. But it was far too late to do anything about it as he knelt down beside you, brows furrowed in concern.
He said nothing at first, opting to wipe away a few stray tears with his fingers before standing up and leaving the room. He soon returned with a box of tissues and a glass of water in hand, placing them down on the coffee table behind you as he sat down next to your shaking form.
“Look at me, please.”
A gentle hand reached out to cup your cheek as he positioned your eyes to meet his. The expression you wore shattered a piece of Zhongli’s heart, but he hid it well as he moved to grab a couple of tissues to dry your eyes with.
Your lover had always been very patient with you, and would never push you to talk about something you weren’t ready to address with him yet, but the look of hurt and sadness that adorned your features indicated to him that this was something that your heart clearly could not handle.
As your sniffling eventually died down, he spoke again.
“Would you like to share with me what has been troubling you?”
With shaky breaths, you explained to him some of the thoughts you had been having.
He nodded in understanding before speaking up again.
“I see.”
He paused, reaching out to take both of your hands in his own.
“I have witnessed much from my many years of existence, and despite much war and hardship that has become of it, it is astonishing how beautiful this world can be. And now, as I am no longer the god I once was, I get to truly appreciate the many wonders that this world has to offer.”
You then felt Zhongli gently squeeze your hands as he traced small circles into your knuckles.
“After everything that I have seen and all the beauty that I have witnessed, the radiance which encompasses you will always be my favorite. You mean everything to me, and I have no regrets about meeting you. You have shown me what it feels like to be loved rather than revered as a deity; you have brought true joy into my life, simply by existing in it. To me, each day spent with you is as valuable as gold, and for that I must thank you.”
He pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
“When I look at you every day, I am always astounded by the beauty of which you possess. I am amazed by your kindness and passion, enchanted by your wonder and curiosity, and no matter what may become of your physical form, those feelings will never change; I will always love you regardless.”
Removing his hands from yours, Zhongli moved to cup your face, giving you no other option but to gaze into his glowing amber eyes.
“Am I understood?”
You replied with a small nod, fresh tears threatening to spill at the lovingness of his words, before Zhongli pulled away and opened his arms to you.
“Come here.”
As soon as those words fell from his lips, you found yourself in the warmth of your lover’s arms. His hold was comforting and his touch soothing. The outside air that had followed him in filled your senses, and it took all your might not to fully melt into a puddle.
“I love you,” he spoke softly, “and I will not hesitate to remind you of that.”

Hello! I really like your writing and I find it very enjoyable to read. I was wondering if you could please do one where Zhongli and reader go on a beach day with their friends and reader is a bit nervous to wear a swimsuit but Zhongli hypes them up. (NSFW and/or SFW) which ever one your conferable with :)
yay!! thank you so much, i'm glad you enjoy my word vomit <3
image
prompt: zhongli + an s/o [gender neutral] who is insecure about wearing a swimsuit
cw: suggestive content! implied sex, mentions of body insecurities, slight possessiveness
The bustling noises of Liyue Harbor rising to greet the day stirred you awake from your slumber. Seagull cries and sounds of the rushing tide welcomed you back into the world as your eyes were greeted by the brightness of a warm sunrise. Strong arms decorated in black and gold markings held you securely in place as your lover drew soft and gentle breaths into the nape of your neck.
In your groggy state you turned around to look at him, taking his face in the palm of your hand as his amber eyes—reflecting the aura of the sun—fluttered open to greet you. The soft smile that adorned his features and the lovestruck glint in his eyes reminded you of how absolutely ethereal your partner was. He returned the gesture by placing his hand on top of yours and pressing a small kiss to the inside of your wrist.
“Good morning.”
Lord, his morning voice was something else.
“You look like you slept well,” you teased.
He chuckled, his smile widening.
“I did, actually.”
Closing the distance, Zhongli moved to place a brief kiss to your lips before pulling away to look at you adoringly.
“Think we should get up?”
“Yes, I suppose we should,” he sighed. “Celestia forbid we keep Childe waiting.”
You hummed in agreement as you reluctantly moved to free yourself from the bed sheets, and unfortunately, Zhongli’s arms.
---
After breakfast, you had excused yourself to change into some recently-purchased swim wear that seemed quite promising at first glance. But as you turned to look in the mirror, you began to doubt your better judgement. The piece looked lovely, but the figure that it held together seemed to be lacking. Not to mention it exposed quite a bit of skin, which wasn’t a bad thing necessarily, but it did make you feel more vulnerable to others' eyes.
It’ll have to do, you thought.
As you were fidgeting and trying to convince yourself that it wasn’t that big of a deal, Zhongli stepped quietly into the room as he had just finished preparing the food for the day’s beach trip; a result of a friendly competition between Childe and Klee over who could catch more fish. You and Zhongli were meant to be Childe’s witnesses when he “destroyed that little arsonist at her own game.”
Your lover had decided that while Childe was occupied with defending his pride, he would take you to see a few of his favorite scenic spots along Liyue’s coastline, and was going to ask for your opinion on the matter, but decided to hold in his question when he noticed the troubled expression you wore while examining yourself in the mirror.
“Is there something wrong, my love?”
“Oh! Zhongli, does this look okay on me?” you asked, turning around and stepping back to give him a full view. “I like the style, but I’m not sure if it really suits me…”
Zhongli placed his hands on your shoulders and looked you up and down, even if he already knew what his answer would be.
“Nonsense, it compliments you very well. In fact…”
Suddenly, he spun you around while his arms snuck around your waist from behind. His face was so close to yours that you could feel his slight stubble rubbing up against you.
“You look practically delectable like this. I might just have to cancel our plans so I can have you all to myself.”
You let out a soft sigh as Zhongli began trailing feather-light kisses from your cheek down to your neck and shoulder, before retracing the same path he created with his lips. He pulled away all too soon however, leaving you weak in the knees while he moved to grab your things.
“Unfortunately, changing plans was not explicitly stated in our contract, so for now you needn’t worry about being unable to walk.”
You watched him with wide eyes and a flushed face at the nonchalance of his words as he leaned in to whisper something in your ear.
“We will continue this when we return.”
Zhongli then pressed a loving kiss to your cheek before pulling away and flashing you with a smile that left you impossibly even more dazed at his actions. Before you could blink, your lover was already a foot out the door with all of your luggage in hand, leaving you to scramble to pull yourself together and follow after him.

losing battle
[diluc x reader]
n/sfw! [intended for mature audiences only]
synopsis: diluc fucking you while beating your ass at chess
cw: smut, fingering, groping, penetration, afab reader + mentions of breasts, author is not very good at chess
a/n: i came up w/ this while i was flying on delta and getting my ass whooped by the stupid computer chess game n i thought of diluc <3
-n/sfw under the cut-
Silence filled the room as Diluc strategized his next move. The board— originally belonging to his late father— was illuminated by a flickering candle, causing the shadows of the pieces to spring to life in a sporadic dance. His gaze lingered until it finally fell onto one of his bishops whose path had been cleared to capture your unsuspecting rook.
Taking this opportunity, he moved his piece in turn, exchanging places with yours. A small smile played his features as he was already gaining the upper hand, and could sense your frustration from your comfortable position on his lap.
No matter how often you played together, Diluc somehow always managed to think five steps ahead of you, even now, as you were being firmly pressed against his growing arousal. His warm hands caressed you slowly from your hips to your waist, almost as if he were trying to commit the feel of your body to memory, and with his chin perched on your shoulder, you could feel every tiny exhale tickling the side of your neck.
“Your move.”
He spoke in his usual seriousness, although his words were softer and his tone slightly deeper, with the close proximity of his lips amplifying the effect he had on you. You felt a squeeze at your waist before those same warm, calloused hands moved down to your thighs.
You gripped the chessboard harshly before diverting your attention to the pieces in front of you. One wrong move and all would be lost; Diluc had you exactly where he wanted you, and had no intention of letting you win.
The hands that were resting on your thighs travelled upward, caressing and squeezing their way until they reached the inseam of your pants, leaving fleeting touches in their wake. Your breath hitched as his lips found the space just behind your ear and began trailing heated, open-mouthed kisses down your neck and the side of your jaw.
Freeing one of his hands from teasing your clothed cunt, Diluc’s touch crept up beneath the fabric of your shirt before finding one of your breasts, which he began fondling as soon as your bra was moved successfully out of his way.
He relished in how perfect you felt in his hands, trapped and squirming in his grasp; soft, supple skin that was all his for the taking. The feeling of your chest heaving in his arms sent his mind spiralling, imagining all the cute noises you were sure to make and spurring him on even further.
His fingers then descended to the hem of your pants, sliding them down along with your undergarments to give himself full access. Spreading your legs with one of his thighs, Diluc began to pleasure you slowly while holding no intention of making you cum. The sudden pressure applied to your clit elicited a sharp intake of breath from you as you melted further into your lover’s hold.
“Diluc..”
You felt his lips curve into a smile.
“Yes, my love?”
He was enjoying this.
“I need more,” you were breathless. How precious.
He chuckled at that.
“Well let’s see if you can finish your turn first, and then I might indulge you,” he said, pressing his lips to your ear and slipping two of his fingers into your aching sex.
You groaned at him, trying your best to refocus your attention despite the way his fingers were curled so deliciously inside of you. As you contemplated, Diluc took this opportunity to rid you of all restrictive clothing, leaving you bare and exposed for him, completely vulnerable to his desires.
The options for your next move were far from promising, and with your concentration dangling by a slim thread and a majority of your pieces captured, you went for the safest possible route you could think of.
Moving your remaining rook to guard the left side of your king, you concluded your turn, blissfully unaware of the position of Diluc’s queen.
When he took notice of this action, his movements stilled, giving you temporary relief from his onslaught despite the firmness of his grip never faltering. A minute’s silence that had passed felt like an eternity, anticipation welling up inside of you at the prospect of Diluc offering more of himself.
As his gaze flickered over the board for one last time, Diluc removed his fingers from your sopping cunt only to bring them up to his own lips. He hummed in satisfaction, and as much as he desired to savor the taste of you with his head buried between your legs, he would have to reserve eating you out for another day, as his priorities were set on something else.
Suddenly, you felt yourself being maneuvered from your position while your lover began fussing with his belt buckle behind you. A sigh of relief fell from his lips at the feeling of his cock finally being released from the confines of his pants, leaving you to wonder how much noise he would allow himself to make this time.
His mouth soon found your neck again as he lifted you up by the waist, only to slowly sink you down onto his dick. The feeling of being inside of you was unparalleled, causing him to nearly choke on his own breath as you sat on him. The sighs and breathy moans coming from you almost made him lose control and bend you over the chess table while he fucked you relentlessly, however that would be accepting defeat.
As you were still adjusting to his size, Diluc reached out to the unfinished game in front of you, moving his queen into place and removing your king from the board. Using that same hand to pull you up further onto his lap, Diluc suddenly thrust himself up into you, eliciting a whine and a sharp gasp. When he pressed his lips to your ear once more, his words were coated thickly in desire and felt almost seductively dangerous as he spoke them.
“Checkmate.”
