What are your thoughts about Dick Hardly? Do you have any headcanons? To be honest I hate him so much it makes my blood boil.
I think his name suits him well.
Honestly, he wasn't much on my radar growing up, but overall, I can see why he's so hated by the fandom. Compared to other villains like Mojo Jojo, HIM, the Gangreen Gang, etc. his brand of evil is grounded in a way that the others aren't, and he doesn't really have any endearing, sympathetic, or funny traits to soften it. He's not a mutated monkey or supernatural demon hell bent on taking over the world, he's just some guy playing the role of a trusted friend who wants to exploit some kids for cash.
As far as headcanons go, I don't really have any specifically for him at the moment. My guess is that he died at the end of the episode and the Professor reported what happened to authorities so his body could be retrieved but didn't go to his funeral. Maybe him and the girls made a small tribute to honor the bootleg Powerpuffs who also likely died in the fire.

Final results are in!
Not surprised that The Now Now is the winner considering that's the album Ace appeared on and most people who follow me are Gangreen Gang fans, and I'm also not surprised the first three got so many votes. I am a bit shocked Cracker Island didn't get any though, I remember people were hyped when it came out.

That post about Snake as an adult (and a dad!) made me think about how I think each Gangreen Gang member would do as a dad.
So just for fun, here are my headcanons before I go to sleep:
Ace: 4/10, definitely not the best. Would go back and forth between acting like an irresponsible friend who'd teach them how to break the law, and lashing out whenever they did something to piss him off.
Snake: 6.5/10, he's... okay. I think he'd genuinely try his best to provide both the physical and emotional stability he didn't have as a kid, but his need for love and approval would make him behave a bit childish at times. He wouldn't be as volatile or unpredictable as Ace, but more passive aggressive and with a tendency to sulk and give the silent treatment when his feelings get hurt.
Lil Arturo: 8/10. A pretty good dad all things considered. He'd be very loving and attentive, but also know how to set boundaries and let them be independent. He also might encourage them to threaten their bullies with a switchblade, but only threaten, not actually use. Cross his heart.
Big Billy: 6/10. He'd love being a dad, and love his kids so, so much. But he'd let them get away with murder and be super overbearing to the point he'd probably have an emotional breakdown if they told him they wanted to hang out with their friends instead of him. Despite having the best of intentions, his kids would probably end up having to raise themselves more than anything.
Grubber: Not only would he be able to teach them the violin and how to speak in ancient tongues no mortal has known for millennia, but he'd also hold them when they cry and kill their enemies for them. 10/10 best dad in existence.

I like to think as time went by Ace came to appreciate Snake more as the second in command and value his input. And I think some evidence of this can be seen in the PPG series…
Tumblr media
Snake is predominantly Ace’s yes man in the first series, earning himself a punch to the snoot whenever he says something Ace doesn’t like…
Tumblr media
However by West in Pieces (series 6) Ace seems to look to Snake for guidance while speaking to the Mayor, Snake seeming to nod in approval.
Tumblr media
And again while trying to think of a way to trick the Mayor out of his belongings.
Whereas Ace seemed to act alone in concocting his schemes when we first meet the gang, he and Snake feel more like a team in this episode.
Snake lures the Mayor into a false sense of security by sounding helpful. He clearly has a devious streak that comes in useful. I’m glad Ace finally seemed to recognise it ☺️

Bonus perfectly timed screenshot (SNACE??) 😝

Do you have any Him headcanons?
Sure!
--- He's old. Like, super old. Not quite as old as the universe itself but pretty close.
--- He's immortal and nearly impossible to kill, but he still has his own vulnerabilities.
--- He has a... weird relationship with the Professor. There's a part of him that respects him for creating one of the few things that can give him a run for his money (the Powerpuff Girls) but he also holds a deep level of hatred and resentment towards him for the same reason.
--- He considers Mojo Jojo a friend, but in the same way one would consider their sidekick a friend. Fun to talk to and partner up with sometimes, but ultimately someone he doesn't see as an equal.
--- He has a long history with Sedusa, and played a pretty big role in her getting her powers. Before they crossed paths, she was a (relatively) normal, mortal woman.
--- His favorite victims are those who are the most vulnerable, the ones with the most internal conflict. He loves taking someone who is unsure of themselves or battling their inner demons, and doing every thing in his power to make sure those inner demons win, and that the victim has no one to blame but themselves
