i just started hannibal a bit ago and i'm already so obsessed with it, i love that they hired will just because he seemed like a bit of a freak and i love that every crime scene he shows up he's like hi i'm will graham and this is my psychiatrist who follows me everywhere and gives me evil therapy and is also obsessed with me. the johnathan sims vibes on this man are immaculate, the wettest of cats, a little guy who likes to monologue in the horrors and so so feral, he has my heart forever 🍽️
i don't know what's going on most of the time in this show but i really like it 👍👍
ok ive started watching Hannibal and my god this show is actually insane like ok i knew hannibal was a liar but brooooo what do you mean wills like not even that mentally ill he’s just terminallll. like do i know he’s eating people yes but yk
yk what’s really interesting about the whole rage subplot in fhsy: The Bad Kids are getting angrier.
Like we can sort of gather that the students of aguefprt are getting angrier, like even if we don’t know exactly what’s going on with the whole rage crystals and stuff, like clearly something is happening. But it’s fascinating seeing it manifest unconsciously in the bad kids. Like Adaine is so angry about ol 4 dogs as well as how shitting the wizard classes are for poorer students (so fair of her). Gorgug of course has dealt with his rage in a massive way. Riz not generally angry but did get genuinely angry at the min max of it all. Kristen is also being confronted with not only a direct foil to herself but also someone exterting power over her brother.
And like rage doesn’t necessarily have to manifest in anger like anger and depression is side by side and like Fabian is so sad and so stressed and like should be angry at his mum for ignoring him like to me that’s what Brennan is trying to get out of him.
Like Rage as an idea is oddly unifying for them all as well as their deep love for each other
genuinely one of the funniest dimension 20 moments ever. unparalleled sequence of events leading up to it. (murph panting with admiration and bafflement)
this doesnt seem like a popular opinion on here but sometimes i like when characters die. sometimes its needed to raise the stakes and sometimes its the end best befitting of the character and sometimes its needed to move the narrative forward and sometimes its the only way a character would believably leave their story behind and sometimes it just spices things up a bit. sometimes its fun to watch characters die . sorry
out-of-the-closet gregory house would be such an unbridled nightmare. try telling him what to do? that's homophobic. that's a hate crime. he would employ the most twisted queer infighting rhetoric to be the most insufferable person possible. "actually homo sapiens is offensive, we prefer 'differently sexual'". if he got fired for malpractice he would sue for discrimination. he would make new employees guess his sexuality and if they didn't figure it out in a week he would fire them. and everyone would be too distracted by house's theatrics no one would notice wilson. they'd go to him and be like "I'm not homophobic but house is being kind of bizarre and aggressive about it" and wilson would be like "oh really" and they would say "how do you deal with it, being the straight guy best friend of someone who behaves like this" and wilson would be unable to break it to them that after a long day of wilson doing his job and house harassing every person in the hospital they go home and have horrible old man sex in their shared apartment and then lie awake laughing at how completely fucking clueless the new interns are
Can we talk about the cultural impact of crazy ex girlfriend. The sexy getting ready song. Period sex. Gettin’ bi. His name is tyyyyylerrrrr. But i could if i wanted to. I’m the villain in my own story. Let’s have intercourse. Don’t settle for me. Banger after banger our lives have been altered forever
