I know Im usualy not too vocal about stuff like this, espessially in fandoms but there is 1 thing I want to address: the tagging of the gender of the reader.

Dont get me wrong, Im not trying to police people on what they can and cant write. What I mean is: please , if you post fanfics, imagines, headcanons. Please consider tagging it with the gender of the reader/mc.

I ask this because as a trans person, it is incredibly upsetting to have to read through a post and suddenly get hit in the face with a sudden description of a body part or something along those lines. Espessially if you tried to check before hand in the comments and the request if the reader would be gender neutral or not. I have just about every female oriented reader or mc tag blocked. But it still happens ALOT that, I will check at the top and it just says: reader X (whoever) but when I start reading Im hit with awful dysphoria because of a gendered term.

No this is not anyone elses problem, and Im not trying to sound like: oh if you dont do this youre an awful person blah blah blah. I just hope that this can give a little more insight into why people ask for the gender of the reader to be tagged. Or written at the top of the piece.
