professor just offered me a job doing data analysis for him which. is so so nice of him. but he offered it based on my R skills which i personally feel are okay at best and now i’m terrified that if i take it he’ll realize i’m not as good at R as i should be and it’ll be awful. also he told me if i want to take it to tell him what i think my salary should be and i’m gonna be honest i have literally 0 knowledge on how to negotiate a salary. this is a lot and also so stressful i hate imposter syndrome i hate entering the job market aaaaaaaaaa

#he also offered me co-authorship which is a massive draw so like logically there’s very few reasons why i shouldn’t take this (so far) #and yet. im so scared. #we’re talking more abt it thursday #me
