“Me and the elf.... we... exist, around each other, at the same time. I wouldn’t say we’re friends, and I definitely don’t trust her ‘jokes’ causesomehowIALWAYSendupcoveredinsomethinggross, but.... for the sake of...... iunno humanity? Elf-kind? Whatever, we..... exist. 

As for the ste- Callum. As for Callum and the elf doing.... stuff together..... I mean, that’s really his thing, I guess? I dunno, I guess what I’m trying to say is, it.... doesn’t really matter what I think? Shocking, I know, but.... well. I always just thought of the kid as well a kid. And, I didn’t really trust him to do, well, much of anything really. But, lately, with everything going on, he’s proven to be much more mature than well, than I am at times and, I guess, really, if he wants to date the elf, I trust him to make his own decisions in that. Plus, the elf seems to like him too, which is weird, but, I guess they’re happy? Soooo yeah, that’s my thing on it.”

I'll have you know I love your work as a poet, but you do realize that the haiku syllable scheme is five for the first line, seven for the middle, and five for the last, right? Some of your poems don't quite follow the rhythm.
