ok whatever . i said i would start talking about dinokat more over here, so here's the scenario i've been thinking about the most lately:

diego doesn't unveil his stand abilities to me for a long time, so before i have any knowledge of it he claims he loves coffee so much that he can smell any bag in any grocery store and instantly be able to name the coffee by both company and blend. so one of our first "dates" i guess (we start off as besties) is me dragging him to the store so he can prove this to me 💀

so just imagine, for a second, diego brando standing in the coffee aisle with his hands over his eyes, me wafting a bag near his face, him sniffing the air and then instantly naming the brand, the blend, and the notes of every single bag, without fail btw. this would go on for ages bc i'm easily entertained and determined enough to catch him either cheating or being wrong at least once, and he loves the pride he feels every single time i'm like "WOAH WTF-- here, try this one"

that's it really, i love putting diego into domestic modern situations, it's SO CUTE to me. and the idea of him utilizing his stand for silly harmless stuff like this is my favorite 🥺🧡

28. How quick or slow is your character to resort to physical violence in a confrontation?

my diego doesn't like to resort to physical violence, he thinks it's a waste of time and he's perfectly confident in his ability to tear someone down with words alone 💀 that being said, he would not hesitate to fight back if anyone put their hands on him first. he will not initiate, but he has no problem defending himself (or someone he cares about). his rage is dangerous, though, he has a hard time keeping it in check sometimes so that could potentially get him into more trouble than he's prepared for 😭

41. Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

a little of both? my diego grew up in a wealthy household and was offered a lot of opportunities due to his high intelligence, but he still had to fight for the parts of his life that he's now proud of. the things he did have given to him with no effort on his part were things he didn't care about or have a desire for. he fully believes in working hard for what he wants, but i'd be lying if i said there wasn't a tinge of "well i want it so i should have it 😡" in there... 💀 but no matter how much he thinks that, he's still more than willing to work his ass off for what he wants. gives him bragging rights.

44. How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?

young diego wasn't opposed to saying it without meaning it and using it as a manipulation tactic. few have said it to him while meaning it. but as he matures, he starts to regard the statement with more significance. vulnerability is a very hard thing for him, admitting feelings is even harder, but once those feelings have been established and he knows it's mutual he's not afraid to say it every so often.

tbh i should talk abt dinokat more often on my main 😤 like who cares. this is a selfship positive zone. may 20th will be two full years of me shipping myself with him LOL

#i avoid it bc this is primarily an art blog and diego museum and i like to keep it as streamlined as possible #but with the sheer amount of time i spend thinking abt my ship with him.. i hold myself back so often #i should stop!!! i love dinokat... i love the lore i've developed and how much self-love i've learned in the process
