Even though Colby and Bryan were complete strangers, he felt reassured someone was watching his back. Inwardly, he winced at being so trustworthy so easily. He and his siblings had been back-stabbed too many times.

The lights (or lack of) was eerie, but they were able to catch up pretty quickly.

I feel the need to defend Bree a bit. Specifically in "Bionic Action Hero." Yes, she messed up, but A) she was tricked and did not intentionally betray her family, and B) once she realized it, she immediately took steps to correct the situation and protect her family. She didn't try to cover it up, like sitcom characters usually do. Then, at the end, she was willing to sacrifice herself for the good of humanity. I actually think this was the strongest, most mature Bree we've seen yet.

((I actually haven’t seen Bionic Action Hero yet, but based on what you told me, I’d have to agree. When I watch the episode, I’ll be sure to write some meta.

HOWEVER, I will say that Bree is (from I’ve seen) the target of a lot of criticism. She was (and sometimes still is) seen as shallow, especially at the beginning of the show. If you ask me, that shallow-ness was a product of her naïveté, and all of the bionics had that. In the events throughout the seasons, they’ve matured quite quickly, but they’re still teenagers. They’ve gotta cut loose sometimes, and a lot of the world is unknown to them. Life doesn’t always measure up to algorithms, and especially not with movies and tv shows. They should be allowed to make mistakes, and should be held at the same regard.))
