Sope

Don’t remember the episode number, and it’s quite an old moment. But a run episode when Hoseok was going down a (water?) slide, and Yoongs was smiling so fondly.

Hopekook?

Episode 70, them snuggly on the couch, and Jungkook being a baby. And trying to put Hoseok’s hood on him, and wanting to buy Hoseok clothes he wants him to wear. That episode was full of cutie Hopekook. Also, (can’t remember which year, but) Jungkook saying that he’s Hoseok’s present during Hoseok’s birthday live.

Yoonkook?

Episode 117. Kook getting all flustered when Yoongi was the blindfolded and touching him. Gosh that was cute. 😂 And. This whole ass live together while filming BV. (x) At least, I think that’s when this live was. And also, this. (x)

Sopekook?

In Episode 104 of Run, when they were playing the musical chairs game. Yoongi saying he’ll be blown away and wanting to switch places because Jungkook is too big, and he didn’t want to get hurt. And Hoseok loving it. 😂

If I do Sopekook (mostly Hopekook) analysis over here, I’m thinking things might be a little calmer than my V / min blog. I know Kook is still part of this ship, but Hopekook isn’t a competitor amongst maknae line ships. So hopefully this will be a more chill environment. 😊

[EPISODE] 2020 FESTA Family Portrait Shooting - A SopeKook (Hopekook Focus) Analysis

Taking a break from the incoming asks on my main blog @lesbian-vmin to come over here and talk about some soft and wholesome Sopekook.

So, let’s take a look at this, shall we?

First of all, Jamais Vu was a dream come true when it came out. Because it has the exact three members I’ve wanted a unit song from. It is, to this date, consistently on my list of top BTS songs. (Now just give me a Sopekook song that isn’t Savage Love, and I’ll be the happiest bean in the world.) It doesn’t get better than Sopekook or 3J. Honestly, all BTS pairs and units are ideal to me because there’s so much that can be done with all of them. And the different sounds that come from certain pairings is always A++++

But let’s talk about this video now.

So, the first shook we get is the 3J photoshoot. I hate people saying “xx is the thirdwheel” (even though it really be like that sometimes), so I’m not going to treat Jin like the 3rd wheel here even though this is a Sopekook analysis. Despite the fact that, in the parts that were included, Jungkook and Hoseok tended to be focused on each other (they looked at each other for photos more than they looked at Jin) they didn’t make him the third wheel. They were playful with him, and it was cute. But let me gush about them focusing on each other here (although it was Jinkook here and 2seok here - so Jin isn’t hardcore 3rd wheeling), here and here. I freaking love that Hoseok thinks that Jungkook is the funniest shit ever. Just looking at Kookie makes him laugh. Either because he’s overwhelmed with adoration (regardless of what kind of love/adoration it is - this kind of emotion is one that often leads to that kind of laughter) or because he actually thinks that Jungkook is hilarious. (He is, though. So effin’ funny.) And excuse me, but I have to mention this little 2seok “hug” before they do the next shot. Gosh they are precious. Honestly, if Jungkook and Hoseok are in a relationship, I love the fact that they are very subtle to the point that we don’t get a lot of moments where fans are like “Jin is hard 3rd wheeling here.” It’s precious.

Hoseok looks at Jungkook after their photo is taken (the one where they covered some of the member’s faces with their own faces). (x) 

Yoonkook moment here (x). I wish I knew what Yoongi was saying, but my Korean listening is crap, and I can hardly hear him over other sounds going on and they didn’t sub his words. Of course. The one time the member is too quiet and there’s other sounds going on, they don’t sub what they said. That gummy smile, though. Precious.

But then we have Hoseok petting the hairs on Jungkook’s glasses (x), and talking all softly to him while talking about the soft side burn. lmao
