I washed and shampooed her hair but the frizz persists!! Too be fair I only put shampoo and conditioner in the specific spot, should I go in fully? Is it's crazy to use leave in conditioner on her hair? Or any other anti frizz thing really?
I know she doesn't have like real hair so these things don't exactly work the same but I'm at a loss here, any help would appreciated!!
My brother bought me a monster high doll for a graduation gift because he's THE BEST!!!
Unfortunately my girl abbey had a tangle in her hair, it came out just fine with a comb but now her hair is all frizzy. I want to wash and brush it proper but I'm worried about ruining her. So I'm wondering if this shampoo and conditioner is ok to use?

What's the etiquette on posting a fic inspired by someone else's on AO3?
I read this fic a bit ago and my brain took it and ran in a different direction with it. It's not a carbon copy of the fic, the premise is just the same. But like I said I took it in a slightly different direction, basically only the beginning matches theirs. And it's not one of those where everyone has written a fic about it, like the Spider-Man field trip thing, the concept is a little niche so I'd hate to act like I'd thought of it on my own.
The fic is not fully finished yet but I'm hoping posting it and seeing people interact with it can boost my motivation again. But I don't know the etiquette behind this sort of thing. I would feel bad just posting it without saying anything. I feel I should ask permission first, but do I just slide into their comments section to do that? Is that weird? Would they find it rude?
I also know about the 'inspired by' thing on AO3, but like not exactly how to use it. Do I just put their username in and be done with it? Even then I still feel I should ask.
Help would be lovely, I'm newer to writing and posting of fics so I'd greatly appreciate it.
Israel doing well in Eurovision is a completely predictable result of the boycott. The people who are watching & voting in Eurovision are now at best willfully ignorant and apathetic and at worst actively pro-Israel, meaning there will be a disproportionate amount of people willing to vote for Israel and even people voting for them because of the boycott.
But saying that means that boycotting Eurovision was the wrong call completely misses the point of the boycott. The point is not "Israel should not win Eurovision", it is "Israel should not be allowed to compete in the first place". The point of the boycott is not to give the EBU views or money, so if you've been boycotting... don't give them money or legitimacy by voting for someone tomorrow to prevent Israel from winning. If Israel does win, that does not mean boycotting failed; it only further delegitimizes the competition and confirms we should burn the whole thing down.
as you may know, israel has begun its ground operation in rafah. they dropped leaflets last night ordering people to evacuate, and bombing in east rafah has already begun.
The border is about to become unreachable.
Rafah is trapped.
We have literal hours until no-one, all the GoFundMe's you've scrolled past, all the people desperately begging on TikTok, will be able to escape.
Give now. Give whatever you can.
I am fundraising for the Odeh family, which is only 3k away from meeting its goal.
platforming palestinian joy is just as important as sharing the suffering they're enduring during this genocide. despite continued displacement and bombardment, you cannot steal their joy and spirit. happy birthday to this sweet baby 🖤🇵🇸 may they grow up to see a free palestine
edit: @saffronlesbian made a video description for this post!!
[vd: a screen recording of a tweet from the 20th of April 2024 with 2.5 million views, from Ruhi @/ruhi_hi. the caption reads, "This video of this little Palestinian angel celebrating his bday in a refugee camp" followed by three emoji of a smiling face with teary eyes. the video clip is 11 seconds long and shows a one-year-old baby seated on the sandy ground, smiling hugely and clapping his hands while people sing to him from offscreen and a large cake is placed in front of him. stuck into the top of the cake is a decoration that reads "happy birthday" in english. the video has the tiktok handle @/ibrahim.jamal99 visible in it. /end vd.]
I'm very tired of this "queer college students should stop supporting Palestine, they'd kill you there!" I watched a hijabi ask a trans man, "but what name do you want to go by?" A butch giving a woman their hoodie so that she could keep her hair covered after the cops took her scarf. Muslim girls making sure the lesbian couple got through the system together. Religious men making sure purple haired protestors got out safe. I don't want to hear it. Solidarity forever, free Palestine.
On April 30th while reporting on the Students Revolution at Columbia University, CNN anchor Kasie Hunt made reference to Hind Rajab as 'A Woman Who Was Killed in Gaza."
Hind Rajab was six years old.
When the rest of the world looks at the united states right now, we see a government who sends billions to support genocide but cannot help their own people starving on the streets.
We see a police force who won't go in to save children from school shootings, but deploy at a rapid rate to arrest peaceful protestors using their right to free speech to protest a genocide
America, you are a war mongering snake eating your own tail. You will protect and support war criminals in another country but let your own people starve and die
To the students bravely protesting now, we see your strength. We see what we saw when students protested the Vietnam War. We have faith you will prevail
If you're having trouble keeping up with what's going on in Palestine because of US news coverage of university protests, here are some articles you can read and a video you can watch:
youtube
While CNN & all the other mainstream media try to paint the university protests as "pro terrorism" (which they're not, they're literally anti-war protests.) Palestinians are being slaughtered by the minute.
