You’re like a figure from a great Shire tale he’d read with that golden hair and those bright green eyes. Hobbits love curves, too, so you know he is blushing around you! His first questions are anything but forward, though, just wondering where you came from and how you know the grey wizard. Cue stories of the man’s fireworks bursting over the lake! You’ve never visited the Shire, but with every word Bilbo speaks your beautiful eyes widen in wonder and you gush that you’d love to see it and before he can help himself he’s blurting out that he could always show you around there after this whole mess is through. He even finds himself getting quite protective of you, snapping at the dwarves if they say anything that remotely upsets you and finding the courage to draw Sting the first time he sees an orc look your way.

Because you both enjoy riddles and puzzles, whenever you have free time or need to decompress on the road the pair of you find yourselves solving any you have and swapping them back and forth. When Bilbo plucks up the courage, he tells you how much of a comfort you are on this journey; he's spent all this time missing home and yet now he feels like he's found a new one. Somehow even being out in the woods is not so terrible! Your jewelry making is fascinating to the hobbit, so expect lots of questions about the process ranging from is it dangerous to what your favorite gemstone is. Perhaps he is secretly fantasizing about purchasing you a piece for you to keep...

The fact that you both love tea! Bilbo one hundred percent commits your special tea to memory, it does not matter how specific the blend is or if you put an odd amount of anything in it. Both of you could make each other’s perfect cup of tea in the dark. If your tastes are quite different, expect some tittering and head-shaking and general teasing, but you will get what you request every single time.

The look of deep concern in your eyes when the hobbit returns, the way you take him by the shoulders and tell him you thought he was lost, well…let’s just say the emotions get the best of you. When the journey is up, all you want to do is go to the Shire, the desire burning in your heart stronger than anything, and who is Bilbo to deny what he also wishes? Years can go by and you never fail to make Bilbo’s heart flutter. The way you pull him into your kisses by his suspenders, the illustrations you add to his maps and letters you surprise him with, inspiring him to do the same. Having a wonderful and creative partner means he can have a cozy life at home in Bag End, yet it is still an adventure every day!

Akaashi is a super thoughtful and understanding person. He's kind, also indepentednt and charming as hell. He will never cross your boundaries and always gives you the space and time you need to yourself; though he will not hesitate to interfere when you have a serious problem and will do his best to make you feel better.

You do not have to worry about his feeling toward you. As I said before, he is a thoughtful guy, and he will definitely think it through before stepping in a relationship. If he's in a relationship with you, you have to know that he definitely loves you; or else he wouldn't be here.

Since it was now a dare i am submitting myself for a matchup: presently I am mortified.but too curious to back down now. I have sealed my own fate per usual. I radiate golden retriever energy: loyal, never gonna give you upn never gonna let you down, never gonna turn around and desert you. I'm the unofficial security guard according to my boss. I have a level head under pressure and I don't back down.  I have a constant stream of humor. The comedy doesn't end. I enjoy being an artist and writer in many media's. I have a community garden and regularly supply winter camping gear, food, first aid, and hygienic supplies. I do feral cat housing too so I just do a lot of weird stuff. Last week I saved a squirrel?? Befriending crows is starting this week lol. Never dull.

I plan on painting my entire house in fantasy based murals and hiding meme paintings behind appliances..Spock is behind my stove.

One funny thing i do that my coworkers thinks is hilarious is I have an entire measurement system for measuring animals using only potatoes as a counting system. Yknow how you count horses with hands?I count animals using potatoes and i am right every time the key is when to switch your counter between Russetts and Yukon golds. It's a good day when a growing animal graduates from being counted from russetts to Yukon golds.

I'm 5'0  and don't mind because I grew up LOTR with Gimli!! He's short and I'm short too!! I am told I have mood ring eyes that change shades of blue with my emotions and I'm red green color blind so that's fun.

Voted most likely to have a mug of coffee or tea in hand at work while I give one of my coworkers a gentle peptalk which turns into me pulling out the Gimli scale and asking them where they are on there today.

Bofur!

You meet under curious circumstances, you having settled at the foot of the great mountain after the war. Thinking you are alone, you had made your way to the woods, idly walking until a chattering squirrel spiraling up a tree distracts you. Given your love of animals, you strike up a conversation, getting quite lost in it all when a jovial voice rings out behind you, asking if you’re getting along, then. Turning, you see a dwarf with a large floppy hat and twin braids standing a ways behind you, apologizing for startling you- you must've jumped more than you realized. In the end, he introduces himself as Bofur and offers you a piece of one of his brother's biscuits from his pockets to give to the squirrel. Finding out that he works as a toymaker, you promise to visit his shop, and when you take in all the wonders he creates with his cousin, well, you can hardly stay away! Bofur ends up enlisting you to paint murals upon the walls of his and Bifur’s shop, which the young ones of Erebor and New Dale alike delight greatly in. Bifur is very impressed by your art and building skills, elbowing Bofur at every chance he gets and waggling his eyebrows over the amazing lass that’s seemingly just fallen into his life.

The first time Bofur actually initiates some time alone with you, he asks you to join him for a night in town, and that’s when he learns you work with livestock. You best believe he laughs his mustache off at your counting technique and also vows to steal it. You can see in his manner, though, and what you know of him that he would be great with the animals too. He can see that you prefer him not to ask so many personal questions and to lead the conversation which he is more than happy to do! He tells you all about his family, the quest he went on, his funny nice hobbit friend Bilbo, where to get the best ale in town if you’re into that sort of thing, a cool rock his brother found in the mines the other day, you name it! Everything is lighter when you two are together. Ever the gentleman, he waits to share your first kiss until he is completely sure you’re ready.

Bofur loves your height; you are a few inches taller than him, not much but just so that he can rest his forehead against yours and put his head on your shoulder. Either one of you can cuddle against the other’s chest as desired. Knowing how much of your time goes to helping others, though, brings the dwarf to lean heavily towards caring for you whether that means he is the one holding you or singing for you or simply by giving you lots of time to get comfortable and express your needs, even if it’s hard. Even in your most tender moments, though, both of you are cracking jokes. Always laughter between you two! Anything big gets called a Yukon Gold with you two because he just loves that saying so much.

If you are comfortable with it, Bofur loves to take you dancing just to show you off! He also adores the way you’ll stand up for him if anyone is mean or pushy- your loyalty is astounding and you truly have a dwarf-like spirit. He gets heart eyes when you become a de facto bouncer and actually throw a drunk or two out of the place. He also takes you camping, pitching a tent and bringing your supplies so you can stay wrapped outside with your animal friends and some weenies to roast beneath the stars.

Teases you to high heaven about being colorblind, though. Overdramatically reminds you what color you’re painting that toy, asks you if you’re sure that’s the right color for the leaves on your mural. Feel free to smack him lightly, he knows he deserves it and he’ll just laugh! If anxiety or OCD symptoms lead to you having a routine or a placement of things that being comfort (if so, big mood friend!), Bofur is definitely the best at remembering to have them out there and follow that for you, no questions asked. You’ll feel so cared for, that his house is a home. You are his warm hearth, his neverending laughter, the only person who could convince him to take home a wounded opossum and call it Bofur jr. but this is his life now and you know what? Bifur was right- he’d run into quite a catch in those woods, a lass far more beautiful than any old fern or flower.

Under what you would claim to be a guise save for its earnest, Boromir returns again and again to hear you read your favorite tales to him. The scanning of words on a page scatter his mind, lack the dynamism of oral storytelling, he tells you. You do not mind, especially when he comes bearing gifts of flowers, sweets, or tea for you to share. Besides, having a captive audience to discuss your favorite stories with is a rare treat, and you love watching new eyes take in the folly of the elves, the tragic romances and epic battles of your land's early days. Relishing in storytelling, you give your all to the voices and presentation of it, and your captain in enthralled. Boromir becomes an unofficial salesman in your stead, calling others to experience Gondor's culture through your wares and even taking sales for you when you need some time to refill your social glass. People smile, shake their heads fondly and knowingly at the captain's animated interest.

His feelings for you slip out one night when he stays past the hours of the afternoon and you offer him dinner if he has no noble duty. He does not, and there you are letting him try one of your family's old stew recipes at your table, the surprise of his warm company not totally lost on you. How one passing meeting turned into something you cannot help questioning...but not for long. Boromir gushes over your meal, going on until you're laughing from the other side of your little table. "No, I mean it. I knew I loved you before I was aware you could cook, but now?" Pausing, you lean forward, offering him a simple look of challenge. Dare he repeat it? Green eyes widening, Gondor's captain meets your look, sees your smile and grows into one himself. "Well, now that my secret is out: will the book-binder have a simple knight?" You will and you do.

hey hi hello!! i saw that these were open and i wanted to take part in them. new follower by the way (^_^) and happy 300 followers!!

im an introvert, usually very quiet and calm and rather hard to provoke at times. i'm easily irritated and lack patience with people who don't really think things through (though i grow warm over time as i grow tolerant in SOME cases). im very loyal and reliable as told by my friends and act similarly to a nagging aunt of sorts?? i'm rational and rather stubborn in the things i do but i relent depending on the severity of things. im also quite petty in certain cases.

i've been told it's easy to be around myself as a person, and people are really comfortable to be themselves in my presence. generally, i'm very blunt since i don't know how to phrase my words any better and some people (& even friends) at times, take the things that i say the wrong way without meaning to. i tend to get along with most people as long as they deal with the same mutual respect back.

i'm rather sarcastic and tend to tease a lot out of the fun of it. it's really easy to get me flustered, especially with flirts because the first thing i'd do is laugh and try to get out of there as soon as possible 😭 i think use both my words and actions equally since i (usually) follow up with what i say. i have tendencies to be a people watcher and observe people going about their day..

i wouldn't really consider myself the most passionate or enthusiastic person either but i really enjoy listening to those who have one. really makes me happy to see people enjoy the things they do. in a sense, i like when people have the things that i lack (energy, passion etc) i just love seeing it A TON. at times, i also have trouble in wording the things that i want to say so it ends up falling flat at times. so i wouldnt say im the most persuasive person either.

appearance wise, i'm about 5'4 and on the chubbier side of things. i have brown skin, really dark brown eyes and 4B black hair. i have small hands and lots of moles on my body but specifically i have 1 on each cheek. as for interests im really into anything that interests me since i get bored easily. most things that catch my attention are typology, videogames, music and gardening. im also learning to play the bass guitar as well. id prefer male interests from the hobbit, thank you!! hope that you have a good night/day!!

Fili!

One of your first conversations involves you rolling your eyes about having to show one of the older dwarves how to use something; Fili overhears and adds some sass and the rest is history. You’re quiet, he grants, but you provide the best commentary he’s heard beyond all the jokes with his little brother and it’s relaxing to sit by your side as you practice your instrument. Soon he begins making more normal conversation, asking things like what you want to do when this whole journey is over. You aren’t sure, you admit; you went on this quest because you were tired of simply watching life go by. “Then why not stay in the Lonely Mountain?” Fili asks. “Won’t be so lonely when we’re done with it, after all.” “What will your uncle think?” You arch a brow. “Don’t worry about him,” the golden-haired dwarf waves a hand, “I can handle him. Convince him denying outsiders is a bit elven of him, you know.” You can’t help giggling at that.

Soon you two are at each other’s sides more often, backing each other up in fights and moving in great sync. Your strikes build off his and vice versa, and he once convinces you to essentially let him toss you into the fray. You, him, and Kili are quite the menaces together! They always save you a seat between them at fireside, quips flying between you three. Kili holds you there so Fili can flirt with you, having learned you're quite a runner when you get flustered. Nice try, Fili thinks you're too cute like that!

Sometimes you get frustrated with each other, and interestingly enough it is over a shared trait- both of you are very self-sacrificing. Loyalty dominates, leading both of you to block thoughts of self out to save others and put yourselves in compromising situations and danger. The other confronts and sometimes things snap or blow up, but these are the moments when you realize how much you care about each other. Fili takes you in his arms and tells you he loves how stubborn and caring you are, but it would kill him if anything were to happen to you. It is during one of these arguments that you admit your feelings for each other, biting them out in the heat of the moment and effectively halting the argument in favor of battle by your lips instead.

He loves to cut off flustered words with a kiss to each cheek or a quick peck on your lips. Your small hands fit perfectly in his; he loves holding one between his or both to keep them warm! One of his favorite forms of affection with you, that as well as walking arm-in-arm. Fili absolutely adores your hair, too. Gorgeous curls he would be happy to learn how you care for and of course braid if you let him! At least once, so he can show the world you're his king/queen and no one else. "That's right," he adds the proud remark every time he says those words.

Your enjoyment of gardening intrigues the dwarf, who grew up with the pride of mining, jewelry-making, and chemistry in his people. Loving growing things is quite charming, bringing the prince to investigate what plants can stay underground as you move with him into your lovely mountain nook. He helps you dig up the freshest soil and buys you the most beautiful stoneware pots for your plants. Also insists on naming them, so have fun with that! It's just one of his habits, like the little jigs he does when you get playing your music. He's stubborn and silly and selfless and that is why you love him.
