Zhongli

Warm, close, and tight but not too tight. His arms loop around you in a protective manner, almost as if he believes he could lose you at any moment. He prefers to face you when you cuddle (or even nap together.) So that when your eyes close, his own open to stare down at you and admire your peaceful features. It never fails to bring a smile to his face.

Shenhe

Lukewarm, awkward, and surprisingly soft. The softness of her awkward touches is enough to make up for the rest of her…faults with cuddling. It's a new prospect to her—cuddling, that is—so, she's doing her best to not scare you away or accidentally hurt you. But, what you love most about cuddling her is how soft her body is. (It's a bonus knowing how fast she'll fall asleep when you come snuggle up to her, too.)

Alhaitham

Loose, but not really. A simple word for a simple man. He's hardly concerned about you getting up since he can just tug you right back down into his snug embrace. He doesn't do so most of the time, because he knows you'll come crawling back into his loose hold a few minutes later. He likes to spoon you as an excuse to tangle all his limbs around your frame, effectively trapping you exactly where you should be.

Layla

Sleepy, tangled. When she gets a good, long snuggle from you, suddenly the world isn't so frightening anymore for her. All of her woes and worries push to the back of her mind as she begins to fall asleep. Within a few minutes, she's sound asleep in your arms. She's a small girl in a big world, but the world becomes as small as her when she's with you.

Layla’s face lights up and a grin takes over her face. “Oh, Ophenia! One of my favorite novelists!” She giggles a bit as she leans closer to you conspiratorially. “To be honest, I find her dedication to memorializing people in text admirable, even if she can’t be open about that to avoid lawsuits hehe. I can relate to the sentiment behind that. Memorializing those you’ve loved and lost so they can live on in others is a beautiful thing, and what is art if not just a long chain of people sharing what they loved with others over generations of time?”

She shifts slightly as her face becomes more serious and adds. “To live for a long time, it can get rather lonely. I hope she doesn’t use her books as a way to… distance herself from getting close to others. Looking at people from such a detached view all the time… it could lead someone to view others more as material that as people if they’re not careful, you know?"

She sighs, leaning back as she smiles again. “That said, she is surely dedicated to her craft! The lengths she goes to get material for her books is something to be admired, truly! I can only imagine half of the stuff she has done for it!"

Layla becomes more animated, excitement clear on her face. "For example, did you hear she snuck into a hellknights base, all to get inspiration for her latest novel? That’s amazing! Honestly, I would love to hear her discuss her own adventures sometime! Do you think I could get her to?”

Layla

⋯⁂ Immediately, Layla’s tired eyes light up at the idea of taking a nice break to go swimming somewhere new and exciting. Yet when she remembers all her studies, it makes her want to cry. She wants a break, she needs a break. So desperately.

But, you always know how to cheer her up! You even tell her you'll help her with her studies when you two come back, convincing her to swear it on a pinkie promise. She doesn't relent, a tired yet bright smile caressing her pale features.

She's never been quite so upbeat and excited before, even around you. She's rushing around her home to get everything collected and ready for the vacation.

You can't stop the relieved smile that touches your face.

⋯⁂ At one point or another on your trek to Fontaine, you have to carry her on your back. It's a relief that she's quite light. Somehow, she even falls asleep at one point—she must be comfortable enough on your back to do so. That's nice to know, you'll keep that important information in mind for later…

Once arriving at the shores of Fontaine, she's already bouncing on her heels and looking absolutely elated beyond compare. She looks up at you and grins so wide and bright like the sun above that warms your bodies. She jumps into your arms, thanking you for the vacation over and over. She wants you to know how grateful she is, even with just a few dozen thank you's.

Without wasting another moment, she dresses into her swimwear and charges into the lake with her arms above her head.

She's so happy.

And you adore her so much.

⋯⁂ As you swim through the cool—almost cold—waters alongside her, she twirls and spins gracefully. It's her way of playing and having fun, you guess. You decide to try as well—although it's much clumsier. She ends up holding her hands over her mouth to stop herself from giggling when she sees you trying so hard to do the same.

Along the way, you discover many strange and intricate contraptions and wildlife. Her eyes gleam at every new one she sees. You smile all the while, unable to help yourself from finding her enjoyment to be the cutest thing about this trip. Blubberbeasts be damned, she's the cutest thing in this lake.

Eventually, you find yourselves in an underwater building, allowing for a brief respite from swimming. She leaps at you, jumping into your arms and embracing you with the glee of a little kid.

After the embrace comes to an abrupt halt, she blushes bright red. Right before you can ask her what's wrong and if she feels okay, she loops her arms around your neck and plants a sweet kiss on your lips.

Razor

⋯⁂ Razor agrees to the idea after a bit of thought (you're not sure how much thought it was since it only lasted a few seconds.) But with the sparkles in his crimson eyes, you can tell he's at least somewhat excited.

…Truth be told, he's not sure where Fontaine is exactly.

Yet he can't help himself but agree to your idea since you look and sound so excited! He doesn't like seeing you sad, so he finds no reason to decline. And, well, if he ever senses immediate danger while you two are in Fontaine, you can bet he's going to be right there protecting you.

⋯⁂ …It turns out the trip there is a lot longer than he expected. He's never traveled too far outside of Mondstadt, so this long, tiring walk tested his stamina. Somehow you can keep going and going, though… He starts to wonder what exactly you're made of.

When you reach the shores of Fontaine, he lets out an airy breath as he looks around—marveling at the grand lake before you both. And when he gazes down at his reflection in the crystal clear water, he can already see the myriad of life that harbors the lakebed.

"Fish!" Is all he yells before charging into the water, you swear he acts a little too rash sometimes. You immediately follow him, though, not wasting a single moment to let him out of your sight.

⋯⁂ Once deep enough underwater, Razor drifts away from you constantly to play with the fish and other aquatic creatures. He plays with the wolf pups all the time, can't he play with fishes too?

Well, as long as he's entertaining himself, you figure. You know for sure that it's very entertaining to watch him grab a fish only to have it slip out of his hands with ease. This repeats with multiple fish only to end with the same result, but he does eventually get distracted.

When he's not playing with the creatures, you two are finding treasure even you hadn't seen before the last time you were here. You both rifle through every piece of treasure you find, digging through every chest that dares to be exposed.

You and Razor find a lot of strange Fontainian trinkets and the like, deciding to keep them for the time being. What is a real trip if you don't collect little items to remind you of it?

Zhongli

⋯⁂ Zhongli does his best to worm his way out of this one. He doesn't care for fish and would rather not be up close and personal with them. You understand he has…less than wonderful memories with similar creatures, but you'd also love to change his mind to at least interact with the harmless ones.

Much to his dismay, he relents.

Don't mistake his smiles as excitement to go swimming, he's just happy to see you so thrilled. He thinks your joy is quite contagious. And he'd hate nothing more than to be the cause of that joy ending. He takes your hand in his and promises to you that he'll see this through—for you and only for you.

⋯⁂ By the time you reach the shores of Fontaine's waters, he's already hesitating to stick with this plan of yours. He glances around, seeing oddly large crabs in the distance—immediately making him tense up and almost gag. He instead clears his throat, shifting his sight to stare down at the water that tickles the tips of his bare feet.

You insisted on him dressing down for the occasion. He's not thrilled about that either.

He scowls at first, contemplating deeply about how he's going to get through this without losing a piece of his dignity. But, when you suddenly take hold of his hand and drag him deeper into the water, he doesn't feel as bad as before. Your warmth somehow always brings him peace and comfort—something he's craved for so long, too long.

⋯⁂ Once deep enough, you continue to hold Zhongli's hand as you two swim together. He's clutching your hand with an almost bone-breaking grip as if he's going to lose you any minute now.

He's not going to let you out of his sight whatsoever, even when you drift away from his grasp to pet a big blubber-beast. You even glance over at him and gesture at him to come closer. At first, all he does is throw you a mild glare.

You've never seen him so pouty before today, but you're absolutely relishing in his facial expressions. His face is always so stony and steady that sometimes you forget that he has emotions he feels, too.

With another gesture of your spare hand—while the other gets slobbered on by the affectionate blubber-beast—he finally relents once more and swims over to you. When he arrives, he has an expression nothing short of disgust. And then it turns into panic when you grab his hand and lead him to pet the wet animal in front of him.

…Despite the texture of the seal, Zhongli grows into the concept. He pats the beast with two awkward pats to the head. When the blubber-beast pesters him further for more affection—nudging its rather large head against his stomach—he smiles a little. And with that, he gives the creature more pets.

Random fact about the Lustrous Clan!

The lustrous Clan’s members all have a crystal/gem like eyes (as you can see on the pic I made) those eyes come to be after the founder of the Lustrous clan had made a deal with an unknown deity for power to protect their village.

In each of the three branches of the clan, there is a set of eyes colour that belong to each of them at most. Like with the Morganite Branch mostly have the pink and yellow eyes while the Aquamarine Branch mostly have the Blue and green eyes and finally the Obsidian Branch has the gray and black eyes!! (There more colours but that the most common for each one)

Although for the main head clan leaders who command the whole clan, they would have pure white with maybe some rainbow like effects to it like a diamond or maybe Purple but white being the most powerful and rarest one and only few members in the clan have the white eyes.

Of course it is not all just for show and proof of their pure blood connection to the clan but also shows their amount of power. The more deep and brighter In colours the eyes can be the more powerful you are… that why if someone lost their powers or went blind (like Layla) they would lose the effect on their eyes but since Layla only just blind she still has her powers but others always mistake it for her being the weakest in her clan.

🌺 Layla loves receiving homemade gifts, but on the flip side expensive gifts make her nervous.

oh, interesting! layla is the sort of person who will appreciate any gift, no matter the cost, as long as the intent behind it was genuine. what doesn't matter so much is it's price or monetary value, but simply the person who gifted it to her did so because they cared for her. how she approaches being given one fully depends on the gift giver's demeanor!

if she thinks they did it just to buy her, she'd be much more flippant with it than say, someone did it because they were trying to give her a fun gift to make her laugh (how she at first interpreted daeran's gifts F) or because they're trying to make a romantic gesture of some kind and will go according to the situation

that was very long winded explanation Lmao. all that said however i am going to give this a 6/10, i won't lie and say expensive gifts dont get assumed to be more joke gifts (sorry daeran...) or someone trying to buy her off for one reason or another. the later definitely make it much harder for someone to approach her and continue to have a relationship with her after that point, as she'll get uncomfortable and perhaps even scared depending on the situation

either way, it's definitely not the best way of getting her attention if your intention is you're trying to court her lol
