Don't tell me this is how I find out 2019's Joker is officially getting a sequel that is a musical.

First of all, they stole my idea /j

Second of all, casting Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn?? I do not support this decision at all, quite frankly. It's not that I dislike Miss Gaga, her music has always been a part of my life. I'm not familiar with her acting so I can't say anything there, but this just doesn't feel right to me.

Curious to see how other people react, and as for my opinions on Joker, I liked it (keeping in mind it's flaws) but it didn't feel like The Joker I fell in love with, Phoenix's Joker feels like a Pseudo-Joker, if anyone understands my ramblings

Edit: What's more, oh wow look, more DC pushing their straight agenda on a character that's always been queer-coded, unless for whatever reason they don't go down the "romantic" plot which is pretty impossible considering it's the whole reason Harley is Harley

i do think the sort of role-reversal folie a deux seems to be presenting is interesting, harley encouraging joker/arthur's destructive behaviour rather than joker pulling the mask of "harleen quinnzel" off of harley

harley not being a psychiatrist/psychologist/whatever is a big red flag to me still though

Watched The Boondock Saints last night and truly, how did we as a society come to miss the golden opportunity of casting Willem Dafoe as The Joker? I suppose he could still provide his voice for a Batman project, but I think he would've done really well physically acting the character when he was younger
