Mickey deserved an arc like Richie’s in the bear. where he finds a job/hobby (tattooing maybe) he enjoys and gets really good at it and people believe in him and they tell him he’s really good and so he starts to believe in himself
I was worried at the end of episode 7. With knowing all of the things that had to be covered in a single episode for a finale? I thought some stuff was gonna be cut short or cut out completely. I wasn’t sure how they were gonna handle everything in a short timeframe.
After finishing the finale, I was actually happy with how it turned out!
We got two fight scenes that felt longer and meaningful, tied the remaining loose ends we were shown in the beginning and nicely left the door open for the stuff down the line in future seasons!
What I WASNT EXPECTING WAS THE END CREDIT SCENE?!! I thought they weren’t gonna use the Medusa head all, or if they did, it was an off handed mention in season 2.
I was in denial about Hilbert’s death literally until the last minute of the podcasts. Even rn, I know he’s dead, but part of me is like “he’s still alive on that ship”
I don’t know why. Every other character I was like “oh shit” but when Hilbert died I was just like “there’s no way. He must have found a place to take cover or something. He’s gonna show up any minute.” And literally. Till the very end, I was saying “he’s alive somewhere.”
Idk why I was so attached to him lol, I know he did really bad stuff but also idk. I’m kinda sad Eiffel never started calling him by his actual name and told others, maybe he wanted to be respectful of his name now? Idk. Also god, the tragedy that his virus never actually worked and he was just being used by the corporation. He was so incredibly desperate for his life long research to work, but it just ended up completely fucked by Goddard Futuristics. It’s just, it’s nice that he got to think his research was actually working before he died, but also fuck man. I really wanted more moments between him and Eiffel, but that small moment we got where he revealed his name and all that was really nice and I’m glad they got that.
I’m just emotional over morally grey murderous funky science man.
