More Ink Ivar HC’s⎮Ink Drinker Modern Vikings AU [Ivar xF!Reader]

Ivar isn’t the best cook. But, you’d never know because he makes three things pretty damn well. Eggs, of any variety. Grilling meat/fish of any variety. And chicken and rice with steamed vegetables—that he doesn’t season. Anything else? The man doesn’t even try. Boil water? Terrifying. So, when you cook for him for the first time, he’s in awe and that’s because the food was seasoned and it wasn’t chicken and rice. He’s the snack king—even over Hvitserk. You wondered if this is why Hvitserk learned to cook so well, seeing how they lived together for a bit.

He buys minute rice, that you can pop in the microwave because “It’s convenient!” No, it’s because you don’t know what to do once you boil the water, Ivar.

“Why do you have such a giant bag of chips in your pantry?” You ask. “Bought the wrong size by mistake,” Ivar lies. “You bought—really?” “….Yes,” and Ivar pauses. “Fine it was going to be my dinner,” He groans. “No, no, let me make you something instead,” You smile.

When you opened his fridge it might as well just be a coop with how much chicken he had in there.

“Ivar you don’t even have flour?” You ask. “Why the hell would I need flour?” He calls back. “You don’t just eat flour,”

His day was usually:

Red Bull, for breakfast (or 3). There’s a reason the man borderlines on having high blood pressure.

Take away from the corner deli that he and Sigurd like, for lunch. (Usually a Reuben, two pickles on the side. Sometimes turkey on wheat, lettuce tomato and onion, no mayo. Chicken parm sub. You can see how he and Hvitserk are twins.)

Chicken and rice with vegetables, for dinner.

Rinse and repeat, daily.

“This, Ivar,” You start, “Is a casserole,” “I know what it is, my mom makes them all the time!” “It’s called a chicken pot pie,” You say slowly. “Baby, I know what it is,” Ivar deadpans.

And with him not being bothered by eating close to the same thing everyday, there was never really a reason for him to try to branch out. (Yes, he’ll eat almost anything if he orders take away.) Not only that, but this falls also under control—while his mind seems to be out of control, he can control what he eats, and what he draws. He has stomach troubles and he’s found this diet...or lack thereof, seems to keep him feeling relatively alright. (Yes, that’s a new HC, Ivar and tummy troubles. Fight me.)

You’re still convinced you really won his heart when you baked him cookies.

A favorite song of Ivar’s happens to be In Too Deep by Sum 41. He belts out the lyrics in his car, his apartment, when he with you and when he’s with Aiden. So much so, that it’s Aiden’s ringtone for when he calls Ivar. And he calls Ivar everyday, like clockwork.

But he calls Ivar at the most random, borderline line eerie times. Like, as Ivar’s balls deep inside of you, rolling his hips and then from the other side of the room, there’s a start up of the chorus.

“‘Cause I’m in too deep…”

Ivar, the fucking genius that he is, goes “I know, I am,” over your mouth, while he moves his hips and when your brain catches up to the pun—you laugh. You laugh and quote the next line of the song back to Ivar as he’s over you, laughing again and Ivar wonders where you’ve been his whole life. Laughter during sex is something widely important to that dork, and the more you laugh, the tighter you get and Ivar goes from loving the moment to incredibly close to finishing too soon. Because you two are suddenly giggling (don’t get me started on drunk, giggly sex with this man. Or do, I won’t stop you!), and Ivar feels the ache in his balls as your moans come back and he knows.

“Baby,” He grunts suddenly, his mouth against yours and his hips stutter. “You can’t keep—you get too tight—and I’m gonna—”

“Come?” You answer for him and his back tenses under your hands just as the tell tale moan floats from his mouth. The bed creaks as his hips slam, and you feel ever rope of his release land inside of you.

Sometimes, he really fucking hates Aiden.

Hours later, he dials the culprit who wouldn’t stop blowing up his phone, the song playing again and again and he answers.

“Hey—do me a solid favor? Next time I don’t answer, don’t keep calling me. Because the ring tone, you put on my phone, kept playing while Y/N and I were fucking.”

Aiden stays silent.

“And she kept laughing, and it made her tighter and I came a lot more quickly than I wanted to.”

Aiden finally replies: “I didn’t realize I was a God,” And hangs up.

Ivar calls back, just because he can’t leave this dipshit alone and goes “I’m blocking your number.”

“Don’t you have a girlfriend that you need to make come?” Aiden whines.

“Bold of you to assume I haven’t made her come twice as many times since you ruined my orgasm.” Ivar answers.

“Ruined?!” Aiden scoffs. “I caused it! We were basically fucking,” And Ivar hears you laugh hysterically from the other room, only realizing now this conversation has taken place on speaker phone.

“Are you two going to kiss or something?” You call and Aiden and Ivar are both quick to answer: “No!”

“Wait—Y/N,” Aiden starts. “Are you going to pay me if I do?”

“Oh, goodbye you dirt bag!” And Ivar hangs up. Aiden calls back because he can’t leave well enough alone, these two basically share the same brain cell.

You love Aiden. You love his relationship with Ivar. Aiden was the first person Ivar was free to be himself around, before you came along. The moment you got along with Aiden, Ivar realized that you really are the one. And that Aiden was right: you do have a foul fucking mouth.

Speaking of mouths, you know what Ivar does a lot? Moan.

Takes a bite of something really good? Moans. Hot shower in the morning? Moans. You rubbing his back? Moans. Cold and crisp Red Bull to start the day? Moans. Sex? Moans. Tight hug from you? Moans.

He moans when he watches you take a big bite of something, too. So much so, that he did it while you had your lunch at the shop and Aiden gave him the weirdest look to date.

“What the fuck was that noise? Did you just come in your pants?” Aiden asks. “That was your orgasm moan,”

“Alright,” Floki tries to interrupt.

“I like when she puts things in her mouth,” Ivar shrugs and you roll your eyes.

“She’s eating a fucking sandwich,” Aiden says. “That made you come? I thought I came easily,”

“Boys,” Floki tries again.

“She is right here,” You mumble. “And, Ivar, I bit down on the sandwich, we have yet to try that anywhere else,” You smirk.

“That’s why I only moan when you bite on the sandwich, baby,” Ivar says as his head tips to the side.

“Sometimes,” Floki starts suddenly. “I feel like a high school principal,”

“For a second, I thought you were going to tell us what makes you moan,” Aiden says to Floki.

You remember meeting Aiden. You recall standing in the lobby of the airport, as Ivar watched the clock, kept checking his phone and then finally Aiden calls.

“Where are you?” Ivar says instantly.

“Oh, hello dear, nice to talk to you too!�� Aiden remarks back and you hear Ivar snort. “I’m on level three at the terminal. Are you at the right terminal?”

“Yes, I know the alphabet, you ass,” Ivar grumbles. “We’re on the second level,”

“I am counting the seconds,” Aiden says and the line goes dead.

You weren’t quite sure who you were expecting to come through the elevator doors. You’ve seen the pictures, the videos, but people always appear different over a screen. Aiden holds a height like Ivar, wide and muscular and just as inked out, even up his neck and a smile that could light up a room.

“Where is she?” Are Aiden’s first words as he hugs Ivar, pulling back to tap his cheeks. “I’d kiss you I’m so happy,”

“Please don’t, I don’t know what flight attendant you made out with,” Ivar remarks as he twists his head from Aiden’s grasp.

“Oh, he was really nice!” Aiden teases, matching his energy.

“This is Y/N,” Ivar says and you smile to the other man. “And Y/N, this is Aiden,”

“The unofficial husband!” You smile and Aiden’s mouth stretches into a wide grin.

“The firefighter!” Aiden remarks. “The fire...woman. Firefighter Y/N. Fire woman doesn’t have a good ring to it,” He shrugs.

“Your dad seemed to like it,” You smirk and Aiden’s eyes widen.

“Oh, I like her!” Aiden laughs, finally hugging you. “Foul fucking mouth, what did I tell you Ivar,” He adds, patting his friend on the shoulder.

“What?” You ask.

“Aiden majored in crystal ball reading,” Ivar says. “He told me that when I meet my person, they’ll have a ‘foul fucking mouth’,”

“Crystal ball reading? Really? Not just ball reading?” You tease as you start off.

“Ivar, I swear to everything that is good and holy,” Aiden mumbles into Ivar’s ear. “Marry that woman, so help me Gods,”

“I plan to,” Ivar whispers back.
