I was asked “why don’t you ever go out with anyone?”

I said “as a partner? I’m rarely ever interested, I friend-zone most people.”

But I wasn’t asked the right questions, because if I was I would’ve said “but there’s this one girl that I still think about late at night… I think she got me, but I didn’t get the chance to find out. She chose her peace over me and I respect her decision for that. But if she came back into my life and chose me like that, I think I would choose her back.”

I didn’t say that. Instead, I said “I don’t fall easily” and allowed assumption to take the rest.

Theres this tiktok trend right now where people will either show their birth year and their SOs birth year, or their's and their kids birth years and it's killing me bc it's almost always a either a massive age gap, or someone born in like 2005 with a 2yo kid
