when i first started swimming again, i planned workouts with a very simple "i swim until i'm wheezing or i feel like i'll drown" which worked out bc for the first like two weeks this always occurred within an hour. now however i no longer reach a point of dangerous exhaustion that fast, so i have to figure out a new plan. it would be most practical to set an amount of time before each workout based on how much other stuff i need to do in a day, so i'm not losing Literally All Of My Free Time And Then Some. but what i WANT to do each day is swim for all of the pool's open hours in the morning and then go home and do my job and then go to another pool in the evening and swim all of their open hours again.

One terrible thing abt being in school again is my work involves staring very intently @ the computer screen for hours, which makes it tricky to then participate in hobbies which also involve looking intently @ the computer screen for a long time.
