Milei is the owner of five English Mastiffs, with the progenitor being Conan, who died in 2017 after suffering from spinal cancer.[45][266][267] He considers Conan his son and has named four of Conan's six clones, including one named after the original and another named Angelito,[275] Milton (in honor of Milton Friedman), Murray (in honor of Murray Rothbard), Robert, and Lucas (both named after Robert Lucas).[276][277] Milei said that he cloned Conan because he understands cloning as "a way of approaching eternity".[267] To do this, he went to a clinic in the United States; the process cost him about $50,000.[267] He has described his dogs as four-legged children and thanked them after his 2023 primary win.[14]
Milei stated that he communicates with the dogs through a mystic.[10] For example, he commented that the new Conan provides ideas on general strategy, Robert is the one who makes him "see the future and learn from mistakes", Milton is in charge of political analysis, and Murray of the economy.[278] When asked about this by El País journalist Martín Sivak and Nicolás Lucca of Radio Rivadavia, Milei did not deny it, and said: "What I do with my spiritual life and in my house is my business. If Conan advises me on politics, it means that he is the best consultant of humanity."[266]
Milei said he had dialogues with the likes of Rothbard and Ayn Rand. In 2015, he cited Conan as a source of inspiration for his writing.[266] About Conan's death in 2017, Milei said that Conan had not really died (he described it as "his physical disappearance" and continued to refer to Conan in the present tense) but had gone to sit next to God to protect him, and that it was thanks to this that he had begun to have talks with God himself.[279] According to González, Milei wrote to a friend in a chat: "I saw the resurrection of Christ three times, but I can't talk about it. They would say I'm crazy."[45] According to various sources consulted by La Nación, Milei maintains that he and Conan have a mission that was assigned to them by God and has a mystical story with Conan. He said that he met Conan, who was a lion, as a gladiator in the Roman Colosseum about 2,000 years earlier.[280]

Ghost King Danny Ao3 Statistics
Just like the title states, this post intends to cover everything there is to know about Ghost King Danny fics for the DPxDC crossover on Ao3! Understandably, this is a very long post and there are a lot of numbers involved, so you may want to be prepared!
Did You Know?
There are a total of 1,334 Ghost King Danny Fenton fics found on Ao3. Of that figure, DPxDC makes up 697 fics- a whopping 52.25% of all fics under the "Ghost King Danny Fenton" tag. Danny Phantom, one of the parent fandoms for this crossover, have a total of 439 fics, which amounts to 32.91% of this tag.
But that's just the broader overview of the Ghost King trope for the crossover. Looking deeper reveals more interesting details about this concept and the authors' preferences.
Before we begin, it would be remiss of me not to include a disclaimer about this information. You are otherwise free to ignore this list, but for those of you who are interested on where or how I gathered this data, I thought it would be appropriate to be as open as possible.

These numbers were gathered through manual labor on the site, Archive of Our Own.
These numbers were compiled in one day- September 12th, 2023, and as such, may not reflect the statistics on Ao3 in, for example, one month from now.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE: These figures only include fics that have been explicitly tagged as Ghost King Danny. While some stories not included in these statistics may have hints towards his royal status, a good rule of thumb is to never assume the trope will be included in a fic until given reason to. The best way to do that is when the author properly tags "Ghost King Danny Fenton" on their work.
These numbers do not include any other crossovers, nor three-way crossovers. Ex: A Danny Phantom, DC, Miraculous Ladybug crossover. This is not to put down these other crossovers in any way, shape or form, but to show a clear, concise overview of the DPxDC community on Ao3.
Fun Fact!: As I gathered the data, I had to manually remove an incredible 57 fandoms and media from the Ghost King Danny tag in order to compile this list. [*] There are countless of other crossovers still going strong to this day, and while this post may not be about them, they deserve a round of applause as well!

To wrap up this entire post, let's look at some at some important or intriguing details we've gleaned from these statistics.
Most stories with this tag are Rated Teen.
Similarly, most stories do not have applicable Archive Warnings.
Gen fics, or stories without romance, make up the most Ghost King Danny fics for the crossover.
Batman - All Media Types sweeps up the competition and can be found in most crossovers.
This may be surprising to some, but Bruce Wayne appears in more crossovers under the Ghost King banner than any of his children.
More people have written about Danny Fenton & Jason Todd in a platonic relationship than a romantic one.
There have been arguments that depictions of Jack and Maddie as bad parents are everywhere in the crossover. Numbers show, however, that for the Ghost King Danny Fenton tag it is very unlikely. Even if there were a hundred more fics that use one of the alternate tags, that would still only be 27.4%. That's little over 1/4 of all Ghost King DPxDC fics. Now, 1/4 might sound like a lot, but when you consider that there are 3/4 of other stories that do not include this concept, or the Fenton parents' skills are irrelevant to the story told, that's not actually as many as it would seem.

SUMMARY
"Master jewelers and dealers of finery. And stuff. And thangs. And stuff! We carry SimCity’s finest jewels, atomized gems, and precious, semi-synthetic metals."
This set is a retro-futurist, steam-funkish remix of an older Jewelry Shop (WR/HChangeri/RetailSims, 2007 via the LiquidSims Archive) with several new add-ons. The design is inspired by The Fjord “Chiclettina” counters and ‘marvelous marbles’ walls/floors from Sims 2. All 40+ items range from §50-750 and some assembly is required. Scroll down for more details and download links.

To streamline files and potential recoloring, everything is repo’d to one of the following objects: Fjord Allshelf 001 (shelving/accents), Fjord Boxed Jewelry Display (boxes), Fjord Necklaces Display (displays/jewelry bands), Fjord Earrings Display (gems), Jewel Case (jewelry cases), Fjord Jewelry Table Glass Display (all glass), Plain Old Fjord Counter (marble surfaces), Fjord Hanging Sign (vertical images; 256x512), Fjord Store Sign (horizontal images; 1024x512) – these items are REQUIRED for textures, etc. to display correctly in-game.
*RPC Launcher doesn’t always delete the “Accessories.cache” file, so you may want to MANUALLY delete the file and let the game generate a new one if you remove this set from your game.

Modular Shop Furniture
The plain counter has been retextured and has 3 slots (only small deco items can occupy the last 2 slots) while the jewelry table has 1 slot. All other furniture is deco - assemble unique display areas by pairing these and other items with one of three shelving units.
The Fjord Single Item Displays 001-003 (pictured above) get their recolors from the EverGlow Plutonium Rod that came with the Nightlife EP. Find them under Lighting > Standing/Floor Lamps – but they can also be used to gussy up displays (see below). You can get recolors for these lights HERE.

The kiosk functions as a normal jewelry rack with a unique empty state (the glow disappears, and the screens turn all angry and red!). The label at the base of the machine uses textures from the Fjord Hanging Sign. You’ll see two torn pieces of packaging when the Fjord Boxed Jewelry Display Two needs restocking – other items have noticeably empty states as well (i.e. there will be no jewelry on the display).

*Since items in the Sims 2 are limited to two recolorable subsets, not all items are recolorable in the same way. For each display, the base and either the gemstones or metal bands/chains are recolorable. Find recolors for this set under the #ts2recolors tag.
SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED

2) With “snap objects to grid” set to TRUE, assemble items on one of the shelves (3-6 slots each): Fjord Allshelving 001- 002 (12 poly), Fjord Cabinet Glass (Shelf) (28 poly), Fjord Counter Display Cabinet (~400 poly), Fjord Jewel Case Displays Reg/Small (744 poly), Fjord Jewelry Table Glass Display (116 poly), Fjord Jewelry Table Shelf (12 poly).
*For owned businesses, this is a good time to set items for sell. The short display cabinets pictured above are shiftable in case you need to move them and rearrange items on the shelf. You can click through the glass as well.
**Some debug-related items float slightly when placed on Allshelf 001 or 002 – this is something I’ve experienced when cloning BuggyBooz shelves - it’s not terribly noticeable from most angles. If it bothers you, close the gap by shifting another object underneath.
***The jewel cases have 6 slots. This may be awkward for the smaller case but that’s on purpose - to make moving several clutter items at once easier. In my opinion, the larger one looks better when paired with a shelf.
3) With “move objects” ON and “snap objects to grid” set to FALSE, shift/rotate the shelf into place as needed. As you combine different objects, some will look best when they’re all facing the same direction (i.e., the green arrows are pointing in the same direction) and others might not – this depends on what items you’re using. You can shift/combine the Fjord Single Item Displays with select objects to add neon light accents to your displays.
You’ll need “move objects on/off” and “snap objects to grid true/false” cheats to make some combinations work. You may also need fences, OMSPs, or other objects to keep sims from walking through parts of the display.
4) Use the Tile Blocker as needed (especially if you play with Object Freedom by Fway, 2023). All objects have 1-tile footprints – but some cover more space than a single tile. The Tile Blocker is included in this set to help you cover those unused tiles and keep sims from walkin’ where they shouldn’t be walkin (learned this the hard way!). This observation truly shows the ravages of time: we see here an interaction of crater topography with ancient lava, which can be informative for analysis. This footprint is deliberately biased to the west because the lower eastern rim should be more interesting. The InSight mission landed in Elysium Planitia in 2018.

This is why accurate information about sex and race is important. A study just gave a name to another way businesses pass over women for promotions and how women of color are impacted at greater rates.
Forget The Glass Ceiling, 'The Broken Rung' Is Why Women Are Denied Promotions
A new study finds Black women and Latinas in particular are the least likely to get that first promotion — and it’s not because they’re not asking for it.

Getting your first promotion into management is a huge achievement in your career. But a new study from consulting firm McKinsey & Co. and nonprofit Lean In shows it’s an opportunity that is not equally afforded to everyone.
According to the study, which used pipeline data from 276 companies in the private, public and social sectors, women ― and women of color, in particular ― are the least likely demographic to get promoted from entry-level to first-time manager.
For every 100 men promoted from entry-level contributor to manager in the survey, only 87 women got promoted. And this gap gets wider for women of color: This year, while 91 white women were promoted to manager for every 100 men, only 89 Asian women, 76 Latinas and 54 Black women would get that same opportunity.
“As a result of this broken rung, women fall behind and can’t catch up,” the study states.
It’s not because those women were not asking for it ― the study found that the women were asking for promotions at the same rate as their male peers. And it’s not because these women did not stick around long enough to be considered for the job ― the study found that they were no more likely to leave their company than their male peers.
The main culprit to this “broken rung” in the career ladder? It’s what known as a “performance bias.”
Why women deal with the “broken rung” phenomenon.
Under a performance bias, men get promoted more because of their future potential, while women get judged on their past accomplishments and have their leadership potential doubted.
“Because women early in their careers have shorter track records and similar work experiences relative to their men peers, performance bias can especially disadvantage them at the first promotion to manager,” according to the study.
This research aligns with the “prove-it-again bias” studies have found women face throughout their career: where they do more work in order to be seen as equally competent to their male peers.
As for why it’s hardest for women of color to make that first leap into management? Workplace consultant Minda Harts, author of “The Memo: What Women of Color Need to Know to Secure a Seat at the Table,” said it’s because systemic biases and stereotypes cause women of color to be less trusted for the job.
“This lack of trust can manifest in several ways, such as doubts about competence, commitment or ‘fit’ within a leadership role,” Harts told HuffPost. “When senior leadership is predominantly male and white, an unconscious bias might lead them to trust individuals who mirror their own experiences or backgrounds ... As a result, women of color may be disproportionately overlooked for promotions.”
The McKinsey study found that women of color surveyed this year were even less likely to become first-time managers in 2023 than they were in 2022.
Feminist career coach Cynthia Pong told HuffPost it’s because in tough financial times, companies often operate under a scarcity mindset and might see women of color as a bigger “risk” to promote when they are underrepresented in leadership.
“We just had to go through layoffs, and we only have three [manager roles]. You can easily see how in times like that, it would just end up replicating these systems where we only trust and only give the benefit of the doubt to certain folks,” Pong said. “And it’s not going to be women of color.”
That sends a dispiriting message to people who watch their peers advance while they get told they are still not ready.
“It’s even more frustrating and infuriating ... when you see that there is a pathway for others, but not for you. Because the injustice of it makes your blood boil,” Pong said.
This should not be on women and women of color to fix. Employers should proactively take steps to make a clear promotion path for all.
There is a lot of talk about the “glass ceiling” and the barrier women face that prevents them from becoming executives at the top. But this study illustrates that there is a more fundamental problem happening to women early in their career: the systemic bias that prevents women from being seen as a leader who can manage other people.
“Our success must be something other than a solo sport,” Harts said. “We can’t promote and advance ourselves.”
For companies to be part of the solution, employers should be more transparent about how managerial promotions happen.
“Trust is enhanced when employees understand what is expected of them and what they can expect from their leaders,” Harts said. “This transparency can help mitigate unconscious biases or misconceptions about capabilities or trustworthiness.”
To break down stereotypes and build trust between employees of color and leadership, Harts also recommended companies to implement programs where women of color are paired with sponsors in senior roles.
What you can do about this as an employee.
If you keep being told vague “no’s” after every promotion request, start asking more questions about what your peers are doing that you are not.
“They’re not going to admit to having a systemic problem. They’re going to say, ‘We just don’t have it in the budget,’” said Elaine Lou Cartas, a business and career coach for women of color.
“I’ve seen people that got promoted to this where they are also doing the same amount as I was, but I was doing A, B and C. Help me understand,” is the kind of assertive framing you can use to ask more questions, Cartas said.
And if you find the goalpost of promotion metrics keeps moving after your conversation with your manager, that might be the time to start job hunting.
“Once you already have that conversation, and nothing’s being done, or at least there’s no steps or actions for it to be done in the future, that’s when [you] could start looking,” Cartas said.
Ultimately, one missed promotion may not seem like a huge setback, but it adds up over time with lost wages and earning potential, Pong said.
“And then that also ripples out generationally to all the families and family units that each woman of color is supporting, and then those to come,” she said. “So it seems like it might be like no big deal to have this person promoted one or two years later. But ... these things really snowball.”
