Gabriel Vuljevas Tupciauskas, de origen lituano, nacido en Montevideo, Uruguay el 22 de marzo de 1966, hijo de una profesora de arte y un constructor, sus abuelos emigraron de Lituania, entre las Guerras mundiales, y se instalaron en Uruguay, sin olvidar las tradiciones y valores de su patria.

Su pintura tiene como objeto un lenguaje, con el que transmitir una imagen estética, con contenido social, que logre una comunicación, mediante su estilo propio y original, denominado: “PRIMITIVISMO CONTEMPORANEO”, resultado de la fusión de estilos pictóricos.

La creación de este estilo tuvo como origen los estudios de manifestaciones de arte de distintas civilizaciones antiguas, conjugados con experiencias de su propia vida y un especial contacto desde su niñez con revistas de arte, de distintos estilos, sobre todo grabados de origen lituano, que forman en su inconsciente las bases de su estilo distintivo, que luego llevará a lograr una metodología e identidad creativa.

Escultor, pintor y muralista, ha presentado más de 300 muestras compartidas e individuales.

A los 7 años gana su primer premio en un concurso de pintura infantil.

1986 Comienza sus estudios en la Facultad de Bella Artes.

1986 Mención Concurso INCI Uruguay.

1986 Mención Honorífica Galería Cano Argentina.

1987 Muestra en Córdoba Argentina, organizada por el Gobierno de Córdoba.

1987 Muestra Antel Uruguay, recibe Premio Especial en el Concurso.

1988 Muestra compartida Bahía Brasil.

1989 Muestra Compartida Punta del Este Uruguay.

1991 Primer premio Galería Ocano Argentina.

1991-1993 Primer premio Concurso Banco COFAC, con Muestra itinerante por 24 salas de Uruguay.

1994 Exposición en Chile, Concepción.

1995 Muestra Individual en Galería Miami, Punta del Este.

1997 Muestra colectiva en Punta del Este, sala de exposiciones de Hotel Las Cumbres.

1997-1999 exposiciones en Punta del Este, curadora Norma Duek.

1998 Primer premio Salón de Arte de La Reconquista. Uruguay.

1999 Segundo Premio Fundación Artistas Latinos.

2001-2002 Muestra colectiva de artistas del MERCOSUR, Punta del Este, organizada por Norma Duek.

2002 Muestra en Galería 3i5 Barcelona, España.

2003 Mención especial Club Naval, Carrasco, Uruguay.

2003 Gira y muestras por los siguientes países: México: DF y Monterrey, Perú: Lima, Bolivia: La Paz y Santa Cruz y Ecuador: Quito.

2004 Muestra en Galería Casa Homenaje a Tamara Lempicka.

2004 Muestra compartida con Grupo 5 en Sala de arte Cinemateca Uruguay.

2005 Muestra en Lapataia, Punta del Este, Uruguay.

Artista permanente de varias galerías de Punta del Este-Uruguay, España, México, Italia, Argentina, Chile, Estados Unidos, China: Hong Kong, Macao, Rusia: Moscú y Lituania.

2010.- Muestra en Hotel Cottage, Carrasco, Uruguay.

2012.- Muestra colectiva de artistas lituano-uruguayos, inauguración del Consulado de Lituania en Uruguay, realizada en el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, Uruguay. “Tarp uostu-Entre puertos”

2013.- Muestra Galeria Settemari, Punta del Este, Uruguay.

2013.- Muestra Hotel Hyatt, Montevideo, Uruguay.

2014.- Muestra en Tucumán, Argentina, organizada por el Gobierno Provincial.

2015-2017.- Muestra itinerante en homenaje a los 100 años del Tango la Cumparsita, vista por más de 500.000 personas. Exhibida entre otras locaciones: Sala Pablo Neruda, Atlántida, Sala Sur, La Floresta, Shopping Costa Urbana, Salón municipal de Sauce, Sala Lumiere, Canelones, Teatro Maccio, San José, Paysandú, Tacuarembó, Rivera y viajó al exterior.

2015.- Pintura en vivo, Espacio al Pie de La Muralla, fiesta de San Juan.

2015.- Exhibición de Obras y Body Painting en Teatro Las Bovedas, Montevideo.

2016.- Muestra colectiva de artistas internacionales en la sede de Naciones Unidas de Vilnius, Lituania.

2016.- Muestra en el Monumento a la Bandera, Rosario, Argentina.

David Tennant at the Emerald City Comic Con 3.3.2023:

Interviewer: Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship spans through centuries.

David: Yes.

Interviewer: So in that you play a lot of different Crowleys.

David: Yes.

Interviewer: Which one was your favourite to play?

David: Oooh. That's a good question. We had a great deal of fun coming up with the looks, obviously, because Crowley is always a sort of punk version of wherever he ends up. He likes to live very much at the sort of cutting edge of the moment in history that he's living through. Unlike Aziraphale, who just kind of bumbles on sort of wearing the same gear. Crowley likes to kind of jazz with the looks of the moment he's in. So was great fun to create them. Which was my favourite... probably I quite liked the Elizabethan look in the Shakespeare... where it was filmed in the Globe in the Shakespeare scene, with his little tiny spindly little beard. The armor was pretty exciting as well. Getting to wear a full suit of armor - incredibly uncomfortable. I mean... I defy anyone to fight a war in that stuff, really difficult. But it did feel very safe.

Interview: Was it pretty hot?

David: No, we were filming in the middle of a field in November. It was freezing cold. And metal conducts the cold quite well, it turns out. So don't fight a war andd especially not it winter. (x)
