The way some of the BoBs on twt are getting backlash about their whining about bucktommy getting over 1k fics, saying that Lou is ugly (like??? Be fr) and trying to drag henren into this accusing people of racism and misogyny because they enjoy creating for bucktommy (totally ignoring how this somehow was not an issue when buddie has 25k fics),,,,

1. It’s from the 80s (which fits with their costumes and thinking they’re at an 80s party…though based on the promos, not sure anyone else got that memo lol)

2. It’s a duet (by Freddie Mercury from Queen and David Bowie aka queer icons)

3. Under Pressure is the title of 2x01 aka Eddie’s first episode. It’s also a song used in Buck’s first episode 1x01 (when Bobby gives Buck his job back). Tim Minear also wrote 2x01 and per Oliver interview, Tim chose the karaoke song for 7x06

4. The song was written by Mercury and Bowie after a hectic day of partying….

You know, I think I’d really like a flashback scene where Eddie is in high school and a transfer student comes to their school. They hit it off after a while and they hang out all the time. Till a point where Eddie feels something different and new when he’s around his new friend. A feeling that he never experienced before. He doesn’t know what it is but he wants to hang out with him all the time. But one day, his parents come to his room, acting weird and his dad seems kinda angry but not at Eddie. They ask strange questions about his friend and ask him if he’s ever done something to Eddie that he didn’t wanted to. They won’t go into details and Eddie’s confused. And then they tell him he can’t see him anymore; that he’s not allowed to. Eddie protests and ask them why but they just ignore all the questions. his father just order him to drop it; to never ask about him or go to his house again because they’re afraid that he might hurt Eddie. But Eddie knows him, he knows that his friend would never harm him in anyway.

That night, he hears his parents talking downstairs in private and he hears her mother saying that she prays for the poor boy and his parents, she prays that he finds god in his heart and find a nice girl to straighten him up and start a family with.

The boy and his family leave the town after a few weeks and Eddie forgets about him after a while.

Until when he starts to figure out his feelings about Buck and his sexuality…

Hey I just wanted to thank you for not being a grump about Buck dating Tommy. I feel like a lot of people are it makes me sad. The world need more positivity. I think it will truly be good for their story line and I would enjoy it if Tommy stayed on for a the season. It would be nice if they got another friend. I want Buddie I do but I want it done right. Buck deserves to explore his sexuality, and be happy. I like how ABC is making Bi Buck interwoven in the story line and not just throwing in a quick arc for viewing ship sake. What do you think? Sorry for rambling. :)

I like Tommy a lot, actually. I think Tommy is extremely necessary to telling the Buddie story properly, if that is the story they choose to tell. If the writers just had Buck and Eddie go through simultaneous sexuality awakenings it would be boring and super fan service-y.

Buck needed someone else to explore and discover himself with that wasn’t Eddie. They’ve been friends for so long and had traumatic experiences on both sides of the relationship that they pretty much burned those 2 ideas as catalysts for their queer realizations, so the only other options would be catalysts outside of their relationship. Enter Tommy and Catholicism.

I also think it’s a little premature to claim that they aren’t just throwing it in as a quick arc? I have faith they won’t, but we do only have 2 episodes right now on the subject, so we have yet to see how his bisexuality is treated down the line. Only time will tell…

I am amazed this is amazing i am bi and a lot of my life i have been ashamed of that and still even now its hard to come to terms with it but watching my favourite character be represented as bi is making me feel so seen and so heard Ive never been this happy in my life im current sobbing in the shower. I have never cried from happiness before this but reading this post has made me so happy i can only sit and cry in my shower. I lover Oliver Stark for playing this character and talking about bisexuality the way he is and defending his character when there is hate for him being bi. I love Tim Minear for writing this incredible story in this incredible way, And i love Abc for making it possible this is truly an amazing time in my life.

Tommy wakes up to Buck fixing coffee in the morning. He walks up, wraps his arms around his waist, and plants small smooches from his ear to his cheek and down to his neck. Buck's heart flutters, and a large goofy smile makes its way onto his face.

Buck spends all week planning the perfect date for Tommy. He throws so many great ideas at him and Tommy being Tommy is fine with every suggestion. Unfortunately, Buck has a rough and tiresome week. Noticing this on the night the date was supposed to take place, Tommy says screw it and they spend the night snuggled up on the couch watching cheesy romance movies.

Buck leaving Tommy a nervous voice mail:

Hey, Tommy, I know you're probably busy right now, but I just wanted to say thank you for, uhh, pulling me out of myself, you know? You've really helped me open my eyes to so many things that I didn't see before—about myself and the world. And, um, I-I just want you to know how special you are to me. And i just….I can't stop thinking about you. I think about you a lot, actually, to the point where I think I might be going a bit insane. I think about your laugh…and your voice... and how you say my name. And I probably sound like a total creep now, huh? Uhh, so yeah. Sorry, I Just really-really needed to get that off my chest. Anyways, umm, I'll see you later on tonight. Alright, well, love y- I MEAN —
